The Journey Commences [Rowena/Open]

"Everything," Adelle replied dryly. By stopping Viktor taking over, many thing would change in their future. Adelle smiled slightly and replied, "He is amazing. Alfie looks a lot like his father and he's 15.. our same age." Della paused and allowed her eyes to wonder to Rowena's flat stomach. Their aunt was probably already pregnant, and Adelle found it odd that she was not aware of it. Adelle looked away and leaned against Marc. "Viktor was after us when he murdered our parents. Helena was the one who took us away to safety. We owe her our lives." Adelle nodded when Rowena inquired about her family. "We were allowed to live because you lied about our heritage. In our future we are officially known as Della and Marc Black, your deceased cousin's children." Adelle tightened her grip on her twin's hand and looked away, knowing they had less than 3 years before their parents were killed and Viktor took over.

"Actually, by us coming here, might have already changed most of the events, there is no telling if it will be a negative or a good change. Viktor in our time.. is no longer human, he didn't want to take a risk in case the items didn't really bring him immortality as the legends suggested, it's rumored that he has at least 12 horcruxes." He said, looking at Rowena, he hoped the changes would be good, but her future self warned them about the changes that could occur, he sighed calmly and looked away. "Sister, you know that there is also a possibility that our present time never changes." He then looked at Rowena calmly. "We'll save our parents but the most important person is uncle Godric, he was the only form of resistance in our time. We also came here.. to know the reason of why, he didn't kill you and uncle Alphard in our time."

[Rowena Ravenclaw]

Rowena couldn't suppress another small smile when she tried to imagine her son, a younger version of Alfie, a 15 year old... Rowena took another deep breath and involuntarily looked down to her flat stomach. Then she looked up at Adelle. That couldn't be true, she couldn't be pregnant... or could she? Rowena just nodded her head again, it was understandable that Viktor would attack the founders and their children, except Salazar of course... and except her. She was glad that Helena was the one to help Helga's children. "So you live with me and Alfie." she made a pause before asking "Does he know who you really are?"

Rowena looked at Marc "It would be hard to make things worse than they already are. I guess it will be a positive change." Rowena shrugged and looked away. She quickly turned to Marc again. "Twelve horcruxes?" Rowena sighed sadly, thinking of Alfie and his horcruxes. She wondered if he would make more of them in the future, but decided not to ask anything about the subject. "Yes, I would be surprised if he didn't." she said with a smile. Marc's final words made Rowena freeze in place. "I see." she said, trying to sound calm. She already had a couple of theories; Alfie, a pure-blood dark wizard would be safe in the new regime and he would do anything to protect Rowena, perhaps even embrace his dark side again. As the headmaster he would have to work with Viktor to keep their family safe. However it didn't explain why Viktor hadn't killed them all.

"You are," Adelle said, answering Rowena's unasked question. Della nodded and replied, "He knows our identity. Helena as well. But not cousin Alfie." She nodded her agreement to Marc's words; this was not their rightful place in time, so something had surely changed. Adelle looked at her twin sternly and said, "Our sole purpose is stopping Viktor." Deep down she wanted her parents alive, more than Viktor stopped... but they had a precise mission. Della frowned and rubbed her temples. "We have already discussed this Marc. And aunt Rowena told us why their... our family was untouched." Adelle turned her attention to Rowena and said, "No one can know about us, except for you."

"That reason of him being a dark wizard makes no sense to me sister, specially when we heard the rumor of him killing the only person he loved the most just because she bore him a daughter instead of a son." Marc said as he sighed calmly, he didn't trust the claims that future Rowena said and the claims that Alfie has, he looked at Rowena calmly and just nodded, it was weird seeing her past side, she seemed to be mixed with some sadness and happiness at the same time, it was all too confusing. "Like my sister said, you are pregnant, but us coming here, might have changed things, so be really careful, we are bargaining with your own lives here to save your world." Marc said as he looked at her, seriously, he didn't know the effects of this time travel, and what would change in this time, he then looked at his sister. "Yes we do, let's put on our student robes, better infiltrate this place as students so we won't arouse suspicion." He said, he knew they had the mission of stopping Viktor, but just like his sister, he wanted to see his own parents. "Tell me aunt.. you did not reveal the room of requirements to anyone did you? Your future self told us it would be the best place to go to for plans."

[Rowena Ravenclaw]

"Oh dear." Rowena sighed and sat on a chair, trying to pull herself together. She had never thought of having another child, not seriously at least. Perhaps they were wrong? However, she was almost certain that they were not. Rowena looked up at Adelle; so she wouldn't change in the future, she would still keep secrets from her children. "And your secret is safe with me. I won't tell anyone who you are." she said, looking from Adelle to Marc. She actually felt sorry for them and she decided to provide as much help as she could, not only to stop Viktor, but also to save Helga and Cornictacus.

"So, what did I tell you? I know you're not supposed to reveal too many things, but you have to tell me everything if you want me to help you." Rowena shrugged, a bit disappointed that her present and future self obviously had same ideas. However, she wanted to know if the future Rowena told them something else. Rowena frowned looking at Marc. "What are you talking about?" She was wondering if her nephew was talking about Viktor. Rowena just shook her head. "Don't worry about me" she said gently. Hearing the word pregnant again made her wince, she would have enough time to think about that later. "Alright." she said with a small nod. "What house are you two in? I guess you are both in Hufflepuff? And what about my son, is he a Ravenclaw?" Rowena believed that her and Alfie's son was talented and smart, and therefore most definitely a Ravenclaw. "No, I did not. However, some student might have found it on their own. You can't keep a secret for too long in this castle." Rowena just nodded her head, there was something else on her mind, silly and vain perhaps, but still important to her. "How will I look in the future?" she finally asked.

"You cannot possible place Uncle Alfie and that Viola in the same scale. I think that he used the baby as an excuse. He almost killed her when he discovered she had been fooling around with others behind his back," Adelle replied softly. "Uncle Alfie never was a threat to Viktor." She turned her gaze on Rowena and smiled at her while saying, "Thank you for understanding." She paused and glanced down at their clothes. "I am afraid we will need clothes... and if it is not too much to ask an accommodation. That is until we find a suitable job and are capable of fending for ourself."

"Yes we are in Hufflepuff. You told us that in this time period the founders chose the students themselves, so you suggested we should be Ravenclaws in this world... for the sake of our secret." Adelle paused and exchanged a look with Marc. She took a deep breath and replied, "Alphard is in Slytherin." Adelle narrowed her eyes slightly and looked thoughtful for several minutes. "We will need to seek a new place. Students might walk in on us and that would be fatal for our plans."

"Trusting in dark wizards or ex dark wizards won't help sister, a dark wizard killed our parents. Don't think that uncle Alfie is an harmless innocent little man, he might have more blood in his hands then the tyrannic Viktor." Marc said as he looked at her calmly, he was a bit angry that she'd trust dark wizards like that, even though they 'weren't' dark wizards anymore, he just shook his head and looked around, they had to get back to work.[/darkred] "We wasted enough time sister, we must prepare and look around hogwarts for some clues on how to stop him.. hopefully it isn't too late." He said as he looked at his sister and eventually gave a small bow to Rowena. "Oh and aunt.. whatever you do.. be wary of Salazar, he is not the man you think he is... he has such secrecy in him, you should suspect anything."

[Rowena Ravenclaw]

Rowena was trying to figure out what they were talking about. She was a bit confused, Viktor had obviously killed a girl named Viola, but he had killed many people before. Rowena didn't know what Alfie had to do with it, however. It was obvious that Helga's son didn't like him.

Rowena looked at Adelle and nodded her head. "I guess you can take a couple of robes from the laundry. You can stay in the Room of requirement, nobody uses it and you can find everything you need there. Of course you'll have to take food from the kitchen." Rowena just shrugged. "Yes, that's true, but wait, we won't choose our students anymore?" she asked with raised eyebrows. "Are we using Godric's old hat?" Rowena frowned slightly as Adelle's hesitation to answer the question. Her eyes widened in shock when the girl finally spoke. "No, that can't be true. There had to be a mistake, my son can't be in Slytherin..." Rowena looked from Adelle to Marc and shook her head. "No, that can't be right, my son is not in Slytherin." she repeated. Rowena looked at Marc. "Salazar? I know perfectly well who he is. He is a lying stubborn arrogant fool." she said coldly.

Adelle's pale cheeks flushed a bright red as she listened to her brother. She turned around to face him and hissed threateningly, "Do not speak of Uncle Alfie in that manner. After all he is done for us, you have the nerve to say such a thing? His past is of no importance. In our present he has never stopped protecting us from Viktor." Della's orbs shifted on Rowena when she started questioning them. "He is a Slytherin. But rest assured he is not an arrogant blood snob. In our future, it is indeed Gryffindor's hat that does the sorting." Adelle looked back in Marc's direction with a frown. "Aunt Rowena has warned you not to give out unnecessary information about the future. And that was irrelevant to our mission." It was evident that the twin siblings had some cold blood running between them. Adelle closed her eyes and started rubbing her temples. This was not who she is, but Marc had changed so much in the past 2 years that she could not help but be angry when he treated her like an inferior being.

Marc looked at his sister angrily, he changed over the years, training to be a great duelist like Godric was, he read many books and novels to know that everyone could deceive people, he looked back at Rowena, he was also distrustful of his aunt at times, more distrustful of Alfie as well, he looked away approaching the door. "Doesn't change what he was, it will never change, he is just like his past and he will remain that way, I will uncover the real reason why Viktor is not attacking us, the real reason why someone who killed people in the past doesn't stop a dark lord." Marc said, disgusted with his sister's compassionate attitude and naivety, it was no doubt what probably killed their parents, he kept looking at the door, he wouldn't let such a thing happen again. "Our parents died because of dark wizards, you do well to remember that sister. Or you'll just end up like them and I'll be left..alone. Marc said, that's something he didn't want, he didn't want to be left alone as much as there was cold blood between them, he actually loved his sister to the point of being protective toward her and always wanting to act as the elder, she was the only real family she had, not a facade like Rowena was.

[Rowena Ravenclaw]

Rowena kept looking from Adelle to Marc and back. She was glad that Adelle liked Alfie, or was at least so polite to pretend she liked him in front of Rowena. Marc's words, on the other hand, worried her. Rowena couldn't know what happened in the future and she was tired of telling people how wrong they were about Alfie. "Enough." she said calmly. "He is not a dark wizard, nor a bad person. I'm certain that he has his own reasons for not stopping Viktor." Rowena looked thoughtful for a couple of moments. "Does Viktor still have the Elder wand?" she asked.

Rowena frowned at Adelle's words. "The hat must have been wrong. My son can't be a Slytherin." she repeated desperately. Rowena had enchanted the hat herself, along with the other three founders, but they might have made a mistake. "Why would my son be a Slytherin?" she spoke, more to herself, than to her visitors. However, when Adelle said that Alfie wasn't like the other Slytherins, Rowena smiled.

At the mention of their parents Adelle stiffened. She frowned at Marc and hissed, "I am sure you will be much better off without me. I am always going against your wishes and plans, aren't I?" She folded her arms over her chest and turned to look away from Marc. Adelle shrugged her shoulders and said, "I still don't understand why you came with me. Don't you trust me enough to carry the task on my own? Is it because I am a woman?" Adelle fell silent when Rowena uttered the word 'enough'. She looked at her aunt with a slightly raised eye brow. "Viktor not only has the elder wand. But all three Hallows," she revealed with a sigh. Della shrugged and gave Rowena an apologetic look. "You know the hat couldn't have made a mistake aunt Rowena." She paused and shifted her position uncomfortable. "Alfie is a Slytherin, but he is a great person." Adelle gave Marc a look which dared him to defy her.

"Minus the pissing me off part at every chance he gets, and perhaps being a bit of a coward, messing around pranking on people." There was some rivalry between them, though many times he went out of his way to help him out in hours of needs, he even attacked bullies that dared attack him, or stopped the people he pranked from going into revenge, he sighed looking away calmly, he wish his sister wasn't too blind and trusting people, she couldn't even see the other sides of people. "He is only nice when he wants to be and to get what he wants." He looked at the door calmly.[/b]"Yes he has all three hallows.. but not yet plus our arrival might of changed certain events."

[Rowena Ravenclaw]

Rowena patiently waited until they finally stopped arguing. She sighed sadly. "I am sure that he only has the wand at the moment. So, we have to keep him from getting the other hallows." Rowena thought of Sirius Peverell, the boy who had shown her the cloak. However, she had no idea where the stone was. She could only hope that Viktor hadn't found it yet. She looked at Adelle and just nodded her head. "I guess you're right." Rowena said with a shrug. She had enchanted the hat, so that it could think rationally, without emotions or any kind of prejudice. The hat couldn't have made a mistake. Rowena looked at Marc with a frown. Perhaps her son wasn't the person she wanted him to be and she had made a mistake again, with her second child and proved that she was a failure as a mother. They had more important things to deal with, than her future family life. "There is a student in Hogwarts who has the cloak. Do you know where Viktor found the stone?"
