"Immature fools or people that believe that they will never be betrayed and find perfect happiness with the person they'll love, it's a waste of feelings... I prefer having a destructive nature." He said with a smile as he took a sip of his fire whiskey. He looked at her when she mentioned she didn't socialize a lot, he was surprised though when she mentioned she seemed to be mostly breaking the rules he just chuckled. "So not obeying your father heh that is good, better to experience the world for yourself." He said with his usual smile.
He listened to her again and just gave her a smile. "I don't think he was happy but he didn't o anything to me, I don't think he cared that much, or he probably did but didn't want to show it." He said with a little chuckle. "He is weak like I told you, he wouldn't want his friends injured." He managed to say as he looked at her calmly.
He nodded calmly. "Strange pet to get for a girl.. no offense intended of course.. but you don't speak parseltongue so I find it odd..buying you a snake." He said calmly and shrugged, still finding it odd.
"You're welcome." He said calmly lifting up his glass. "Cheers." He said and chuckled as he listened to her. "It is true, we are cunning, and I do think highly of myself just because I have those skills that make me different from most.. I am powerful I am aware of that. I can oppose Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff so easily, two witches that are told to be powerful yet they are nothing compared to me."

“Yes... people like that anger me. They can no see the reality of the world, and most of them think that muggleborns should mingle with us purebloods” she laughed. “It is a waste.” she said placing her fingers on the table. She laughed her head flinging back as she did. “Father has a hard time keeping me inside the house. I wouldn't disobey him if I wasn't kept under lock and key, but I am.” she shrugged. “I do love to explore. Especially the darker areas of the world, though father told me off when he found out I'd gone into Knockturn Alley without him... as did my aunt actually” she frowned.
She smiled. “Is Salazar ever happy?” she asked, but the thought got her thinking, was her father ever really happy anymore? He seemed happy enough with her, but when she wasn't with him. She didn't know. “Friends... they really did destroy Salazars destructive nature didn't they” she frowned again. She had no love for Ravenclaw, Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. They were her fathers friends and not hers.
“My father is strange” she offered, “It was odd, but I love her nonetheless” she smiled, as she spoke about Zeina. “She's been a good companion, when my father was away” she sighed.
She lifted her glass and sipped at it again. “Cheers” she grinned. “Cunning is a good trait to have.” she flicked her curls off of her neck. “I will have to see these skills in action sometime, its one thing to say it, but another to see it” Melantha took another sip of the firewhiskey. She sipped again, the warm liquid tingling her throat. She could feel a lightness passing over her mind, as the alcohol began to take over. She smirked to herself, if she was going to get tipsy she might as well get herself pretty drunk. Hopefully Slytherin wouldn't choose tonight to visit.

"Only fools think that.. once I get my plans into motion, mudbloods won't live for long, the world will belong to us purebloods like it should be." Viktor said with a smile, he would make sure of that, he would have a lot fun too on fighting those that opposed him, their powers wouldn't match his he knew that much. He was prepared and would be cunning in all of his plans as he looked at her. "Liking adventure hmm? That is good, you have a weird father though, keeping you locked up doesn't seem fun." He said calmly as he looked at her, he was caressing his chin for a while.
"Unless you have an important secret that he prefers keeping it well secret of course." He said as he looked at her, at that moment it felt like she was hiding something, he wouldn't ask about it though but he would make sure to find out He was convinced there was something fishy but he ended up just smiling at her. "Hmm Salazar happy.. I assume he is sometimes... I have no idea though never saw him smile." He shrugged. "No idea, perhaps he was never actually destructive.. I just know that he is cunning."
He listened to her talk about her father saying he was strange, he just shrugged. "I guess he is, keeping you locked up.. though wouldn't know in general, I don't know who my father is." He said as he looked at her, he found it odd that a snake would be a companion to someone that can't speak in parseltongue.
He chuckled at her grin before finishing his fire whiskey and refilling it once more, he had a good resistance to alcohol as he looked at her calmly. "Hmm is the drink too strong for you, don't worry I'll help you out if you end up drunk." He said giving her a little wink as he took a sip from the newly refilled glass. "Cunning is always good, serves the Slytherin students a lot."

Melantha nodded along as he spoke. She bit down onto her lip. “It should never have been handed over to mudbloods” she snarled. She was a little jealous of some mudbloods. They got to spend their time in Hogwarts exploring the magical world. Melantha was locked up. Having to sneak out whenever she could. “I do love a little adventure. It's much better than being still all day long” she replied waving her hand around in a circular motion. “It is not fun. At all. It is boring and rather lonely. I would rather be sitting here with you than back home. Even if when Father finds out I was here, I will be in so much trouble. I am sure it will be worth it” she rambled.
“I have no secrets” she blurted out immediately. She sounded defensive. Even to her own ears. She almost cringed. Quickly she added “I mean... I have secrets, but none that warrant me being locked up” she laughed. She sighed. Melantha had seen Salazar smile, but she couldn't tell Viktor that. It would just make for too many questions. “I guess he isn't happy because he can't destroy the mudbloods ruining his school” she shrugged, sipping at her drink as she did so.
“You don't know who your father is? What is that like?” she asked curiously. She knew who her father was, and she loved him for who he was, despite his failings. She flashed him a small smile, before sipping at her drink again. She frowned when he commented that the drink was to strong for her.
Melantha was too proud to tell him that it probably was, so she placed the drink down and replied “It's fine,” she said shortly. Then grinned at him. “I just met you, why should I let you help me if I were drunk. I'd be vulnerable” she laughed. “It does seem to doesn't it” she mused softly. She picked the glass up again, and stared down into the drink, she swashed the liquid around the sides, before placing it to her lips, and taking a rather large sip of the drink. She grimaced for a moment, but was getting a little more used to the strong taste. So she sipped again.

Viktor smiled, looking at her calmly. "Being rebellious is always fun, better to have an adventuring side rather than obeying people and rules." He said as he kept his eyes on her. Viktor was getting curious. Viktor was even more confused at what she said, about not destroying the muggles that are ruining his school, was she talking about who he was thinking now? Perhaps she was just drunk and saying complete nonsense yet he wasn't sure as he kept looking at her. "Mudbloods ruining his school huh?" He just said, with a grin. "Come now.. did the fire whiskey affect your senses so much that you wish your father was Salazar Slytherin?" He said though he started suspecting something now.
He looked at her and just shrugged. "I don't think I ever had one, my mother was...a different sort of person, not the greatest of jobs for a witch either... I 'took care' of her.. once she was of no use to me." He said with a smirk as he looked at her. He kept looking at Melantha, trying to see if she would slip up and accidentally reveal more.
"Hmm perhaps you are already drunk." He said with a chuckle as he took another sip from his drink, finishing his fire whiskey again he looked at her. "Perhaps it would be wise to not refill your glass."

Melantha smiled back, feeling slightly calmer than she had before. Maybe it was because of the drink she'd consumed? She wasn't really sure. “It is fun isn't it” she giggled. Sipping again at her drink. “I hate having to obey people. It just isn't me” she added, throwing her head back as she laughed. She took another sip of her drink, and then, spluttered and coughed, as the drink slid down her airway, effectively choking her. She rubbed at her chest, and tried to laugh it off. “Maybe” she replied with a wink. Melantha was trying to be evasive and vague.
“My mother died when I was a mere baby. I never knew her.” she shrugged. “What do you mean... took care of her?” she asked, wondering what he would reply with. She came up with a couple of different ideas, but she wasn't really sure what to expect from him. He didn't seem like a stereotypical person. “You don't have a father, I didn't know my mother, what a pair” she scoffed.
She raised an eyebrow at Viktor, and nodded “I agree. Perhaps it would not be wise” she pursed her lips, idly, and picked her glass up. She looked at the remaining drink, and sipped at it again. She'd soon be finished, and hopefully she'd have enough time to sort of sober up before going home.
