Morgana threw her hands around her sister's neck and hugged her tightly to herself. She did not know what to say in response. Meggy didn't think she [well children for that matter] had the right to defy their parents. Meggy always did as told and she couldn't understand why Kat didn't do the same. She knew life would be easier, because mother and father wouldn't have any reason to criticise her. Meggy felt herself being pushed and she stumbled backwards. She braced her arms around herself and looked at her sister with a hurt expression.
Ooc: Sorry for the slight godmode... if it bothers you I ll modify.

Alsciaukat never liked hugs. Her grandmother had taught her that affection, especially in public places was improper behaviour. Which was an idea that Kat quite agreed with, since she was directly opposed to the ideals of love and happiness. "Ugh," Kat groaned as Morgana embraced her. Her lips curled into a disgusted scowl. It took Kat a moment before she threw Meggy off of her however. "What did you do that for?" As far as Kat could tell, Megs was out to annoy Kat for having taken the silly ring. Kat is opposed to love because she had never experienced it before. When she wasn't despised for her overly modest appearance, there was always her tactless reactions. Kat gasped with exhaustion and leaned back against the bench as she stared across the corridor at the far wall.

Meggy stared down at her feet and replied softly, "I was trying to make you feel better." She looked up at her sister sharply and added, "I don't hate you. Why can't you accept it?" She paused and sighed heavily. "Why can't we be like other sisters?" Morgana picked herself from the ground and leaned against the wall, her eyes never leaving Kat.

Kat shuddered at the thought of behaving like those overly happy freaks. They were always happy about nothing. "Useless. I don't like to play pretend." She paused for a moment. Trying to remember what her grandmother had said about Meggy last year. It was a particularly nasty quote and Kat remembered trying to ignore it. "I don't hate you either. I can't be like other girls, Megs. Gran says I shouldn't. She says they're weak, like mother; give into temptation too easily. Remember that I never hated you, sissy. No matter what they tell you. I just... cant... do that though. It makes me feel false." Kat looked down at the stone floor. She had always dreamed of being normal, having a mother and father that loved her. "You wont understand now. When you're older, I'll tell you why."

Meggy pouted and mumbled in response, "It's not what I meant. I do not want you to be like others girl. I like you the way you are." Pause. Morgana moved closer to Kat and continued, "I just do not want you to treat me badly." She sighed and shrugged her shoulders. Morgana nodded gloomily at her sister's next words, glad that at least Kat did not hate her. She tilted her head to one side and questioned, "Why not?"
