Rowena moved a few inches closer to her wand, holding her hands above her head, to protect herself from getting hurt. When a bookshelf fell on the floor and shattered into pieces, along with the books in it, Rowena made a small, squeaking sound. She knew that it would take only a small movement of her wand to clean up the mess, but she still felt sorry for her books. As Morgana continued crashing her office, Rowena finally managed to take her wand and jumped on her feet, turning to face her student, but then Morgana just fell on the floor after being hit. Rowena carefully came towards her, with her wand raised.

Viktor couldn't feel her under his control. He let go of his imperio curse, not sure what was going on in the office, no doubt something happened, she was probably unconscious, or dead, he put his wand back in his pockets and hid in the darkness just in case they would leave the place, he had a grin on his face, this was exciting, but he hoped Rowena was at least injured.

As soon as she was free of the curse, Morgana groaned softly and tried to get up. She fell down again as a sharp pain shot through her back. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked up at Rowena in shock. Meggy started shivering and managed to push herself into a sitting position. She retreated backwards, keeping her eyes fixed on Rowena.

Rowena moved closer as Morgana started to move. When the girl opened her eyes and sat up, Rowena raised her wand, ready to stop her, but after seeing the look in Morgana's eyes, she knelt on the floor next to her and put her wand down. "It's alright." Rowena said gently. "Just calm down and tell me what happened."

Meggy jumped slightly when she saw the wand aimed at her but relaxed as soon as Rowena lowered it. She was trapped. Morgana had no where to go and she had no idea how to explain what had happened. She pulled her knees up to her chest and whimpered softly, feeling under pressure with Rowena's gaze on her. She gulped and looked away before finally saying, "I was in the library and then I heard a voice. In here..." she tapped her temple and continued, "It was telling me to do bad things and I couldn't help it." Morgana broke into tears and sobbed, "I'm sorry professor."

Rowena sighed and frowned at Morgana's words. She knew that her student had been cursed with Imperius, but she only wondered why and who'd done it. Rowena started shivering and just sat down on the floor, thinking that it was someone who knew about the wand, maybe those people that Alfie had warned her about. If someone could try to make a second year student to kill Rowena, there was nothing they wouldn't do. "It's alright, I know it wasn't your fault." she said and then turned her gaze back to Morgana. "Did you see the person who did it? Do you know who it was?"

Morgana huddled close to the wall and buried her head in her hands as tears streamed down her cheeks. When Rowena started speaking to her, she peeked from in between her fingers and shook her head. Meg sniffled a couple of times and finally said, "It was a boy with a funny accent."

Rowena sat back with a frown. For some reason, she couldn't think of any boy with a strange accent and it was annoying. She wasn't used to not knowing something, it was something new to her. Rowena just stared at the wall, lost in her thoughts. The scared little girl reminded her of her own daughter, when she was younger and needed her help, but Rowena hadn't been there for her... She shook her head and stood up. "You have to go to the Hospital wing, miss Gaunt." she spoke gently to the girl. "The school nurse will take care of you and we can talk about this later, after you've taken some rest."

Meggy shook her head and crawled towards Rowena. She rested her head in the older woman's lap and rubbed her eyes while saying stubbornly, "I am fine. I do not want to go to the Hospital Wing." She looked up at Rowena and asked, "What happened to me professor? Why could I not stop myself from what I was doing? Am I bad?" She blinked furiously and looked away.

Rowena was shocked with Morgana's reaction, but she didn't push the girl away. She gently caressed her long curly hair, trying to make both of them feeling better. "You are not a bad person. You've been under a spell and even older, more experienced wizards wouldn't be able to fight it." Rowena answered calmly and added "You haven't done anything wrong."

Her lips parted to form a small 'o' and she said softly, "Does that mean father will not be angry?" Meggy shifted her position and turned back to face Rowena. As she looked up at the professor, Morgana felt a strong wave of nostalgia. Her eyes welled with tears but she was quick to wipe them on the back of her sleeve. Meggy pushed herself away from Rowena and huddled in a corner.

Rowena even managed to smile at the girl. "I am sure he won't be angry." she said gently. Rowena decided to talk to Morgana's father herself, so that he wouldn't be angry or upset. "I think you should really go to the Hospital wing, just to make sure you're alright. I'll come with you and tell the nurse to give you some chocolate if you want." she suggested with another smile.

Morgana knew it would not be right to defy Rowena. If the professor insisted she needed to visit the Hospital Wing, then she would oblige. Meggy stood up unsteadily, holding onto the walls and looked squarely at Rowena. "Thank you professor," the second year mumbled softly, keeping her gaze fixed on her shoes.
