Helga laughed and teased, "You fell for my cooking... that's what you cannot truly resit." She smiled up at him before standing on the tip of her toes in order to place a kiss on his lips. "I love you," she whispered, her mouth hovering inches away from his. |

" I love you too." He said, smiling and kissing her back, still holding her in his arms, eventually he whispered his breath hitting against her neck. "My heart belongs only to you, and it will always be that way."

Helga smiled to herself. She then pushed against Cornicatacus and said, "Now scoot Monsieur. Make desert while I cook that chicken." Helga laughed softly and kissed his cheek before setting to work on the food. |

Corni just laughed. "Aye aye Mademoiselle, ma capitaine." He said in a teasing manner, as he took the ingredients necessary for the cake, sure he could just use magic to cook the food but he preferred doing it by hand, as he took out the cream needed for the cake.

An hour later Helga was busily setting the table for two. She looked up from the table and looked at Cornictacus in distress. "We forgot the bread. Do you want me to nip outside and see if I can buy some?" As the words rolled off her tongue, she turned her gaze to the grandfather clock in the corner. |

He looked at the cake he was preparing, focused as he heard her, no bread, he just kept looking at the cake. "It's alright honey I think I have the materials to bake the bread, plus it's cold outside, I don't want you freezing out there."

Helga moved behind him and rested the palm of her hand on his back. "There's no time. The food is ready and it is best served hot." She sat down on the nearest chair and continued, "I can go if you want me to. I will wear my thick travelling cloak." |

He finished the cake calmly, he turned and looked at her, hoping she'd do the rest for the cake. "But honey it's cold outside, let me go get the bread. Or let me bake bread, you can eat and feed me at the same time."

Helga heaved a long sigh and pouted at Cornictacus. She folded her arms over her chest and said, "I am only pregnant Monsieur, not an invalid." She turned to look away and said, "I do not want any bread. I was offering to go buy some for you." She rested her head on her arms and looked up at him wide eyed. |

Helga scoffed and straightened her back. She pulled away from the kiss and said softly, "I would rather not now." She stood up and walked back to the living room. Helga loved him a lot, but she did not appreciate being treated like a fragile flower or worse, a fragile ornament. She sat down on the couch and tucked her knees beneath her body. |

He sighed, he knew he hurt her, as he sighed calmly, going to the living room, he approached her calmly, kneeling in front of her looking at her calmly, kissing her foot softly. "I'm sorry honey it's just that.. it's late, and it's not always safe outside at night, I don't want something to happen to you, I love you a lot, more than anything, I also didn't realize that you just wanted to please me." He looked at her, almost like a puppy.

"I do not want you to give in to me out of pity," she said with a sigh. "I am expecting our child and you should know that I would not dream of doing anything to jeopardise its life. I need to know you trust me." She turned her body away from him, giving Cornictacus her back and resting her head against the back part of the couch. |

He said as he looked at her back, he knew he did something wrong and he just sighed sadly, he was dating Helga, he knew one thing is that his fiancee could beat him easily with magic if she wanted to, he looked away calmly. "It makes me feel important... that I want to protect you.. even if you don't need protection, honey you can beat me easily with all the spells you know, compared to you I'm nothing. "

Helga was shocked by his words. She turned back to face him and dropped to the ground beside him. She took his face into her hands and whispered with tears in her eyes, "That's not true my darling. You are everything. Do not feel that I am superior to you in any way because I am not." She crushed herself against his body and said, "Knowing spells is not everything." |
