Rowena and Helga walked together towards the gate in silence. When they reached it Rowena turned to her friend with a questioning look on her face. Helga had been to scared and worried to read entire letter, but Rowena had memorised it. "We ought to meet his assistant in London." Rowena frowned slightly, after realizing that she had no idea who his assistant was. "Do you know what he looks like?" she asked.

Helga gave an absentminded nod at Rowena's reply and held onto her friend's hand for support. She looked up at her with a lost expression and finally replied, "Sirius... our head boy." Helga tightened her grip on Rowena's arm and asked almost pleadingly, "Can we apparate together?" She was afraid that in her state, she might splinch herself.

Rowena looked at Helga with raised eyebrows. "Peverell?" she asked, even though she knew perfectly well who the Head Boy was. Sirius Peverell seemed to appear everywhere, especially where he wasn't expected. Almost like Viktor. Rowena just nodded her head and took Helga's hand in response. Helga was in such an awful state, that she might splinch herself and they really didn't need another injured person. Rowena turned on the spot, holding Helga onto her arm, before everything turned black. After a couple of moments, they were standing in an empty street in London.

"Yes Peverell," came Helga's mumbled response. She felt relieved when Rowena took her hand. Helga held tightly onto her friend and closed her eyes as they disapparated. She gasped loudly and clutched her hand to her chest the moment they appeared in London. She looked up at Rowena and took a deep breath. Helga didn't loosen her grip on Rowena's hand as it felt comforting.

Instead of Sirius being there to meet them, there was a patronus standing there, it looked like a crocodile which was Sirius' patronus, it looked as they arrived, and led them the way toward the healers house without waiting for them, it soon turned right when it was close to the door. "Sorry if I couldn't make it, modifying the council's memory, Cornictacus was attacked by Viktor, he burned the shop, so I'll try and rebuild it."" Sirius' voice can be heard but he wasn't present, it was his patronus talking

Rowena gently patted Helga's shoulder as they moved down the street. Instead of the Head Boy, there was a patronus waiting for them; its shape made Rowena shiver a bit, she wasn't used to seeing crocodiles, even in patronus forms. They followed it to the healer's house. "I knew it was him." she said as the patronus spoke. She looked at Helga, hoping she'd finally stop protecting the boy. Rowena glanced at the house before asking "Shall we get in?"

Helga jumped at the sight of the patronus and tightened her grip onto Rowena's hand. Her visage turned pale at the words and she gasped loudly. Catching Rowena's look Helga shook her head and whispered, "He needs help. He's only a boy." Helga was convinced there was some good in everyone. She gave a nod and bravely stepped forwards. Helga stared at the door for several seconds before knocking.

Rowena frowned at Helga's words; her friend was too kind, even to most devious creatures. "The only way to help him and the rest of us would be to put him away for good." Rowena sighed and followed Helga towards the door. It opened after she knocked, but there seemed to be nobody inside. Rowena raised her wand and walked inside, looking around the small foyer. She glanced at Helga and raised her eyebrows, waiting for somebody to turn up and lead them to Cornictacus.

"The room to your left please." A voice could be heard, telling them where to go, a small witch was standing there, healing some of the wounds that Cornictacus had, he was in a rather bad shape that's for sure, it was also difficult, as she had to focus a lot just to heal some of the 'minor' wounds he received, they weren't ordinary, all seemed to be made by powerful magic.

Helga decided not to comment to Rowena's words, knowing it was a lost battle. Both witches had a different perspective on the matter and Helga had the feeling her colleagues thought of her as foolish. As the door swung open Helga held her breath and stepped cautiously forwards. As they reached the room and her eyes found Cornictacus, Helga gasped loudly and buried her head in Rowena's arm.

Rowena silently watched the elderly woman healing Cornictacus' wounds. Most of his wounds seemed to be made by powerful dark magic. The healer seemed as if she knew what she was doing, she was whispering the incantations and moving her wand across his wounds. The cold logical inquiring part of Rowena wanted to come closer and write down the spells the lady was using, to study them later. However, she just gently patted Helga's locks in a way she hoped was comforting and whispered "He'll be fine." Rowena felt so sad for Helga, since she knew what her friend was going through. Rowena had been in love twice in her life and both of men she loved had died. She could only hope that Helga wouldn't have to feel the pain of losing the man she loved.

|Not to worry, he should be fine, it's a good thing that boy brought him here, he'd be dead otherwise... an agonizing death, never seen such dark magic at work." The little witch said, as she kept focusing on the healing, eventually the severe burnt marks started to heal, but she was sure one of them would leave a scar, she sighed calmly, never in her life as she seen something like this.

The patronus came back quite rapidly, as it looked at the founders. "I'm afraid I can't save the shop... the black flames were too powerful, it engulfed.. and it's.. pretty much destroyed now, Cornictacus will be furious.."

Helga sobbed quietly in Rowena's arm. She looked up at her friend and nodded at her words. The young woman turned her attention to the healer and said hoarsely, "Thank you." She was grateful to the witch for saving her fiance. When the patronus appeared amidst them, Helga jumped slightly. Sirius was right, Cornictacus would be furious. However, at this point she did not think the condition of the shop was as important as Cornictacus's condition.

Rowena looked at the little lady with slightly narrowed eyes. She had never seen wounds like these before, in any of her books or on a living person. It was dark and dangerous and yet in a strange way it almost fascinated her. Only a lunatic could do this... a lunatic with the powerful wand... Rowena shivered and flicked her wand, conjuring a handkerchief, which she handed to Helga. Rowena jumped slightly, along with Helga, at the sight of patronus. After hearing its words, she sighed and turned to Helga. Men... of course he'd be furious. And it would only annoy Helga or make her feel sad. Rowena couldn't wait for Cornictacus to wake up, so that she could ask him some questions about the attack.

"He should wake up in an hour or so. This magic, it was worked on.. at an early age, I can tell, the effects are tremendously dangerous. And don't worry, his handsome face is all healed, you won't be with a burnt person" She added in a jokingly manner.
---------------
The patronus disappeared, Sirius apparating just behind the professors, he seemed rather tired. "His other assistant should be coming soon, I just informed her of what happened."
