"You just don't give up, do you?" Rowena said with a frown, still not looking at Salazar. She knew that he wasn't in love with her, she only wanted to make him stop meddling in her private matters. Rowena raised her wand and kept walking down the road, pretending that Salazar wasn't even there.

Salazar said, walking with her calmly, while looking around.

Rowena sighed sadly "I know, Salazar, I know..." her head was still raised up high, but her voice was calmer. "I know I probably haven't been the best mother to Helena, but she doesn't even want me near her, she resents me... and there's nothing I can do about it." she added bitterly.

"Why do you think she resents you, anyways let's make sure we get to Alfie first, come on." Salazar said, running instead of walking this time, he knew something would happen but what? They had to protect the man, he looked around as well in case the attacker was here.

Rowena stood in place and turned to face Salazar after hearing his words. His reaction took her by surprise, she thought he wasn't going to help her. Rowena lifted her robes slightly, so that she could run after him. She was still puzzled by the sudden change, but didn't ask anything. "Wait... slow down a bit..."

"We can't slow down, not now." He said, still running, they didn't have time, something was very odd, where they too late? He hoped not, as he arrived he took out his wand, he saw something odd, something falling from the top, as he cast a spell to make the person float, he didn't want whoever that was to be crushed by the fall, he approached and looked at who the body belonged to.
