"He spoke to me last week," she commented lightly. Morgana popped the last piece of chocolate in her mouth. She chewed it slowly and swallowed it. "He was too nice to me. That's why I think he's odd." She paused and pulled her feet on the desk. Meggy tugged them underneath her body and turned to face Odette. "What makes you think he's evil?" she questioned curiously. |

Odette gave Morgana a strange look. "He was nice to you? I thought he couldn't be nice to anyone..." She nervously took the hem of her skirt and twisted it in her hands. "I saw him talk to a girl, I think she's a Slytherin, too, but he was so mean to her. Her name is Lily, I think." Odette added, looking at Meggy.

Meggy's eyes widened and she looked around the room nervously, as if expecting to Viktor to appear any second. "Do you think he was tricking me?" she asked, concern in her voice. Morgana rubbed her temples and added to herself, "But why?" She gave a shrug and let out a long sigh. |

Odette shrugged slightly, before answering "I don't know." then she narrowed her eyes slightly, as if she was thinking of something. "Did he want something from you?" Odette asked seriously. Then she made a theatrical pause. "There was a girl in my common room and she told me... well there was some girl from Ravenclaw who told her brother in Slytherin and he told his friend... who told it to a Hufflepuff girl who told it to the girl from my house that Viktor had actually attacked a teacher." Odette's large blue eyes widened as she spoke. "But they don't know which teacher it was."

Meggy gave a shrug and said, "He only wanted to know why I was sad." She paused and nibbled her lower lip. "But I didn't tell him." Her eyes widened feeling lost. However, she figured the list of students was not important. She gasped loudly at Odette's last words and her hand flew to her mouth. Morgana started hyperventilating as a theory formulated in her brain. "Some days after I met Viktor. I was im... imperiused. That's what professor Ravenclaw said it was. And I attacked her." Her cheeks flushed and she hung her head in shame. |

Odette nodded her head, she wouldn't have told Viktor anything if he had asked her. She gave Morgana a shocked look, when the Ravenclaw student started hyperventilating. Odette listened to her words and her eyes widened as she finally realized what had happened. "So it was you? You attacked... professor Ravenclaw?" Odette just sat there, motionless, thinking about everything. She didn't blame Meggy for what she'd done, it could have happened to anyone... even, she shivered at the thought, to her, Odette. "Do you think it was Viktor who imperiused you?" she asked seriously, acting like a little Muggle detective.

Morgana nodded sadly at Odette's question. She slowly looked up at the Gryffindor and mumbled softly, "I never meant to. I couldn't stop myself." Meggy listened to the other girl attentively. She narrowed her eyes and gave a small shrug. "I don't know... Maybe," she said in response. Morgana shuffled closer to Odette and whispered, "I heard one of the older students say that Professor Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff left in the middle of the night. She heard them say something about Viktor hurting someone called Cornictacus." |

"Of course you didn't mean to hurt anyone. Viktor made you do it." Odette said gently and patted Morgana's arm. "He is a mean person." she added seriously. Odette's big blue eyes widened again. "Really? I wonder where they might have gone..." Odette looked as if she was contemplating something. "So they went to save him? I wonder who..." Odette suddenly froze. "I have a cousin, Cornictacus. We aren't really close, but he comes to dinner sometimes and he owns a shop in Hogsmeade. It can't be him, right?" The blonde girl remained silent for some time. "We have to find out where professor Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff went. But how? Hmm..."

Meggy looked at Odette with a small smile, grateful to her words. She took the Gryffindor's hands into hers and said, "I don't know. They never mentioned a surname. But only said that Professor Hufflepuff was awfully distressed." She paused and shrugged, "Maybe the Cornictacus injured was her betrothed." Morgana perked up herself and replied, "We will find a way. Maybe ask Sirius?" |

Odette held Morgana's hand tightly as she was thinking of her cousin. Cornictacus was distantly related to her family and Odette wasn't quite sure she knew his last name. She didn't know if he fancied a lady and if the lady was actually professor Hufflepuff. It just seemed to strange and complicated to her, so she relaxed a bit and shrugged. "It's probably someone else." Then she looked back at Morgana. "Yes, Sirius should know. He knows everything that is going on at school. But he probably won't tell us everything." she added bitterly.

Morgana nodded confidently and agreed, "Yes it probably was." She looked thoughtful at Odette's next words and hmmed softly. All of a sudden her eyes lit up and a grin appeared on her face. "Veritaserum," was all she said. Morgana jumped to her feet and started walking up and down in front of the Gryffindor. "He will never know what hit him. And it will give us all the information." She stopped in her tracks and turned to face Odette, "I am sure my mother will not have any problem brewing some for us." |

Odette just nodded her head, still trying to think of a way to find out what had happened to professor Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw and if Sirius knew about it. Odette was lost in her thoughts, so Morgana startled her by jumping to her feet with a grin on her face. Odette gasped with excitement. "Veritaserum? That's a great idea, but where can we get it?" After Morgana's final words a large grin appeared on Odette's face. "Wait, what if your mother asks what do you want to use it for?" she asked, feeling a bit worried that Morgana's mother wouldn't give them the potion if she knew what they were planning.

Morgana started laughing at Odette's question. She winked at her new friend and replied confidently, "She will ask. I will tell her the truth. And she will approve." She paused and smiled with satisfaction before saying, "That's how my mother is." Meggy slumped her shoulders slightly and leaned towards Odette, "We will corner Viktor. And he will pay for being a mean bully." |

Odette raised her eyebrows, looking at Morgana with an expression of pure shock on her face. She knew what her mother would think of their little adventure, but she didn't really care, Maman didn't have to know everything. "My mother wouldn't be happy if she knew about it, she'd never help us. That's why I won't tell her anything." she added with a shrug. "We have to make him pay, that's fair and that's justice." she finished seriously.

Meggy's expression darkened. She braced her arms around her body and thought about what would happen if her mother said so. Morgana shrugged the thought away and looked back at Odette. She gave half nod and replied, "Yes it is." She outstretched her closed fist in front of her and looked at Odette expectantly. "We can and will succeed." |
