Yes dears, even Hogwarts the Beginning has rules and we expect you to abide by them. Breaking any of the below may result in an indefinite ban, so please make sure to read them CAREFULLY.

REPORTING FOR DUTY

• First things first... Only those aged 13 and over are allowed to join Proboards boards.
  
  
• By submitting a profile, members are committing themselves to the board. This especially applies to canon characters and professors, who are crucial in the running of the school.
  
  
• Please do not create an account if you aren't planning to make a profile.
  
  
• Please do not create an account only to post advertisement for your site. Our Adverts/Affiliates board is guest friendly.
  
  
• If you need to leave for a period of time, post in the appropriate category or inform at least one of the admins.

Applying

• The application form should be filled in carefully.
  
  
• If you do not use the code given, the application will be ignored.
  
  
• Once the application has been submitted, please DON’T send messages to the admins about acceptance. Like you, we have real life to attend to so be patient and wait at least 48 hrs before catching an admin’s attention.
  
  
• You have 10 days to finish the application. If you fail to do so, it will be denied. However, feel free to reapply for the character.
  

Character

• Nobody is perfect! Your characters must be believable, persons with flaws and weaknesses!
  
  
• Your character has to be played by a real celebrity, no animes or cartoon characters!
  
  
• Please, keep in mind that Emo kids didn't exist thousand years ago and please DON'T use Emo Play-By! (This works for all the other modern subcultures)
  
  
• Pregnancies happen... but please we cannot have every female (especially students) on the board expecting. If your plot involves a pregnancy, it needs to be approved by the staff first

Roleplaying

• All levels of experience are accepted, as long as the person in question can post at least one decent paragraph. One line posters are NOT tolerated.
  
  
• After being accepted change your display name to your character's name.
  
  
• Please write in third person. NO slang language.
  
  
• When you're character is speaking use quotation marks (" "), and for thoughts use Italic
  
  
• You're not allowed to role-play other characters, kill or hurt them without the permission! NO god mod allowed!
  
  
• Each member is allowed to have more than one character, but you must have a separate account for each of them.
  
  
• Keep in mind that this takes place over a thousand years ago, so some things might be different than they are today!
  
  
• Creativity and originality are encouraged, especially when it comes to coding which makes posts look more attractive.

Rating

• Proboards is strictly PG 13
  
  
• Mature content, violence, drug-use and cursing are FORBIDDEN!!!

Anything else

• Respect everyone! Be kind to other members, don't swear or say bad things to other people!
  
  
• If you have an issue with a member or a character do NOT take it out on the CBox. Always contact a staff member for assistance. The password for the application is Fizzing Whizzbees.
  
  
• Please refrain from discussing Religion, Politics and Sexual Orientation on the board. We understand and acknowledge that everyone is entitled to their opinion, however, sometimes silence is golden; as said before remember we are here to have fun.
