Amanda sat down tiredly, in a chair by Damien's hospital bed, she looked physically tired, from lack of sleep. She hadn't had much sleep recently, she couldn't, so much plagued her mind that she found it hard to sleep. But being tired was nothing compared to what had happened to Damien, every time she thought of his screams she flinched. That was a sight she never wished to endure again. She leaned forwards, resting her elbows on her knees, her fingers gripped nervously at her bottom lip. She smiled at Damien as best she could. "Hey" she said softly, her tone only just loud enough for him to hear. She wasn't really sure what to say. Her gaze fell on him, eventually she frowned, "You broke your promise" she said shortly. Of course he already knew that, he'd wrote the letter to her, saying he had to.

Damien had his eyes opened, looking at the ceiling, he's been looking at it for hours until someone approached, he looked and saw Amanda, he just gave her a little smile, before coughing, a bit of blood coming out, the magic still injured him, he's b been in a coma for a couple of weeks even a month but he was slowly recovering. "Hey.." Damien just said as he listened to her talk, he sighed calmly. "I know.... .I...I'm sorry... it had to be done."

Amanda smiled back at him. "How are you feeling?" she asked, she guessed he was probably sick of people asking him that, but she wanted to know. She flinched as he coughed up blood. It was easy to see he wasn't fully healed "I guess it was either be prepared and go face him, or wait for him to attack" she shrugged slightly. "It's okay. I guess with Viktor it was rather inevitable. Her tone was gentle and soft as she talked. She pulled her hands through her hair, and sighed. She didn't like when people broke promises, but she could see why he did. "Has Viola come to see you yet?" she asked curiously. She and her sister kept putting off talking. Their pride kept coming in the way.

"I haven't seen her, I think she is...a.hh.. blamin herself for this." Damien said, unsure, he didn't know Viola could blame herself, he didn't think it was true either, he just looked at Amanda calmly and just gave her a little smile. "He would of found me himself if I didn't come, it was that or die in a quicker way, sent you the letter cause I know it would of been bad if I was hiding it."

Amanda nodded. "I think she just might." she paused "I should probably talk to her soon, I have been putting it off" she sighed. "We used to be quite close as young toddlers, before father died" she randomly stated. She smiled back at him. She hesitated for a moment but reached out to hold his hand gently. She pulled the chair a little closer to his hospital bed. She nodded solemnly. "I'm glad you sent me the letter. Otherwise, you could have been six feet under by now" she looked at him, "Hiding what? The book?" she asked confused.

:No I meant.. hiding it from you that I'd be going after Viktor." Damien said calmly, feeling such pain, he sighed and looked at the ceiling. "It looked like we had the upper hand but he... he tricked us." He sighed once more, still looking at the ceiling, it was such a weird confrontation. "He loves pain...he seemed so...i...inhuman."

"Oh" Amanda said simply. "Why did you send me that letter?" she asked, "Why not someone else?" she asked him confused, the thought had suddenly come to her mind, why send it to her?. She tipped her head in confusion. "He tricked you?" she queried. Damien's statement freaked her out a little. He liked pain. Who liked pain. She ran a hand through her hair, tugging at the occasional knot, "That sounds very inhuman. Pain is not something to like..." Her voice trailed off at the end.
