Gordon was cautious, he knew all the dangers he would be taking for this, but he couldn't let his foolish friend fall in love with this woman, she could destroy their plans, make an Alfie too soft that could even die, he suspected a lot of things but never had the chance to talk about it to Alfie, he knew he didn't care much about the order, but Gordon always had his own ambitions, Alfie was to become a headmaster and he would be a new school governor, but he had to make sure things would be a bit easier, he had to make sure nothing would bring him down, make him weak. He looked as the house elves were about to bring her food, just stopping them, telling them he'd do it himself. He would bring the flood to her. He was wearing his usual black gloves, holding some flowers. He thought it would be a good occasion for discussions, he just smiled calmly, as he cleared his throat. "Madame Ravenclaw, may I have your permission to come inside and perhaps your help, I'm bringing you, your dinner."

Rowena was sitting in her office, looking out the window at the mountains and the lake. She was waiting for her dinner, the house elves were supposed to bring it, even though she wasn't too hungry. There were other things on her mind, more important than food. She couldn't stop thinking about Alfie, perhaps she should have told him that she was pregnant, perhaps it would have made him stay. Rowena just shook her head. She couldn't have changed anything. The sound of a pleasant male voice brought Rowena back to reality. She wasn't quite sure who it was, but the voice sounded familiar. No, it couldn't be Gordon Grindelwald, could it? "Come in." Rowena finally said, waiting for her visitor to enter the room. Nothing happened. Rowena frowned slightly, thinking about his words. "Oh. Right." she said as she stood up and walked to the door to open it. Rowena wasn't too surprised to see Gordon Grindelwald, but she had no idea what he was doing in her office. "Good evening." she said. "Please, come in." she repeated, moving to the side so that he could enter the room. "I didn't expect to see you here, especially with my dinner." Rowena smiled, closing the door behind Gordon.

Gordon just gave her a charming smile, letting her close the door, he put the plate containing her food on the desk and extended his hand to give her the flower, the flower which contains the poison, he just kept smiling at her in a charming manner. "Yes I wanted to surprise you madam, saw the house elf and decided that I'd bring you the food myself. After all we are here to talk about certain students in here, dangerous ones?" Gordon said, it was all a facade of course, he had information on the kid but not enough it was strange, he'd have to find where the boy lives. "Finding information on that murderer seems rather hard, no way to know where he lives it seems." He said, touching his mustache calmly as he looked at her. "Would you like some tea?"

Rowena was confused, but she just smiled back at Gordon. "Well you've managed to surprise me." she answered and took the flower from his hand. "Thank you." Rowena winced in pain when she felt the sting on her finger. "Oh, I'm so clumsy." she shrugged and put the flower in a small vase on her desk. Rowena looked at her hand and saw a single blood drop, which she wiped away with her other hand. She decided to ignore the question of Viktor and his whereabouts. "I'm glad that you brought my dinner because I'm really hungry." Rowena sat on her chair and leaned forward looking at Gordon. When he offered her tea, Rowena laughed. "Oh my, you're such a gentleman, thank you. Would you like some tea, or something to eat?" Rowena glanced at her dinner, wondering what actually brought Grindelwald there. She was sure that he had already found information on Victor and that is was merely an excuse to see her and talk to her about something else, perhaps. "If you're looking for Alf... I mean Melkor... he is not here." Rowena tilted her head to the side, looking at Gordon, trying to figure out what he wanted.

Gordon just smiled as he looked at her, when she picked the flower and it stung her finger he just looked calmly. "It's alright, it happens to everyone are you alright it didn't hurt did it?" He smiled as he looked at her, he didn't thought Rowena would be this foolish, though then again work with flowers and different sorts of plants is that other woman's forte, That Helga woman. He just gave her a smile, conjuring up two glasses and some tea on them. "Food for me? Don't be foolish my dear, I'm just a guest why would you offer me food? I'll eat out of respect if that is what you want though." He said as he looked at her and just smiled, the poison should soon start having it's effect, or at least he hoped it would be soon, so he could be done with this charade. He took the fork and knife and started cutting some meat. "You should eat my dear, you look tired.. really tired. You sure you are alright?

“I’m fine, a small sting won’t kill me.” Rowena smiled as she reached for her tea. “You are my guest, lord Grindelwald, I have to offer you food or drink. If you’re not hungry, would you like something to drink? Some wine or firewhiskey, perhaps?” Rowena just nodded her head and smiled when he said he would eat with her. She looked at the flower again and thought of Helga when she tried to figure out what type of flower it was. Rowena shrugged and took her wand aiming at her tea and casting a spell which revealed ingredients of a potion or anything hidden by magical means. She sighed and took a sip after she made sure that her tea wasn’t poisoned. She had to be careful and check everything she ate or drank, since Morgana’s last attempt to poison her. Rowena looked at Gordon, but she had to close her eyes, because the room started spinning. “I’m fine.” Rowena lied and opened her eyes, pretending that nothing had happened.

"Are you sure professor?" Gordon said, smiling at her as he took a sip of his tea, it was obvious that she was a bit paranoid no doubt someone tried to poison her in a quite normal way and usual, he always saw people doing that. No one could suspect about the flower at the moment. He took another sip. "Nothing better than tea, please I don't like such beverages, alcohol makes people stupid. Gordon said as he finished his tea and conjured more, he looked at her calmly, as he smiled. "Eat professor it'll make you stronger." He said with a smile anyone who didn't know about the plant would made a mistake, if they brought her to the hospital wing, no doubt she'll give her a potion and then she'll be having a cardiac arrest and die, he just smiled, this plan was working wonderfully, he had to take her out of the way. There was however one thing he didn't know, which was the fact that she is pregnant.

Rowena had to close her eyes again, because the room kept spinning. Something was wrong, but she didn’t know what. The way Gordon smiled and spoke to her made her feel nervous and perhaps even scared. She managed to open her eyes and look at Gordon. His words echoed in her mind and he kept smiling, making her believe that something wasn’t right. Rowena remembered that she had actually been intimidated by the man, the first time they had met, during the ceremony that brought Alfie back to life. “I’m not... I’m not hungry anymore.” She whispered. It was true, she didn’t feel like eating anymore. Rowena reached for her glass, but she dropped it and spilled the tea. Her hands were shaking and she felt dizzy. She looked up at Gordon and saw the same satisfied smile on his face. “Wha-what have you done to me?” she muttered.

Gordon just looked at her and kept his smile, the effects were pretty satisfactory at the moment, he took the fork and stabbed the meat, bringing it close to his mouth as he took a bite. "Hmm it tastes great, you sure you are not hungry madam? Pity, do you mind if I finish the plate?" He didn't wait for her answer as he started eating the mashed potatoes and some of the salad it was excellent this Helga was indeed a good cook unless the house elves did it, maybe she taught them how to do it. "Hmm very good, ohh how dare you accuse me of such a thing madam I would never.... poison you." Gordon said with a smile as he touched his mustache, he leaned and whispered to her ear. "I'm afraid, you have 12 hours to live, I was about to do it to your daughter but I thought it would be far too cruel." He smiled at her and raised his glass. "Cheers"

Rowena narrowed her eyes as she looked at Gordon. Her entire body started shaking in fever and she felt as if she was going to vomit. Gordon didn't seem to be surprised with her symptoms, he just kept smiling and eating her dinner. He couldn't have poisoned her, she had checked the tea and he wouldn't eat her dinner, if he knew that it was poisoned. Rowena was having an awful headache and she couldn't move. She kept staring at Gordon, unable to think straight anymore. Rowena reached for her wand, but she was too weak to take it. Even if she could curse him, it would be too late, since he had already poisoned her. Rowena’s eyes widened when he mentioned her daughter. “Don’t you dare touch my daughter!” Rowena took a deep shaky breath; terrified with his words and the sound of his voice. She lowered her hands to her stomach, suppressing the urge to vomit. She was breathing hard and fast. The poison would kill not only her, but also her unborn child. “No!” she managed to say, clenching her teeth as she struggled with another wave of nausea.

"Ah my dear, you are renowned for your intelligence, if so, why didn't you suspect my arrival or rather... why didn't you ask me why I was giving you a flower while wearing gloves." Gordon said as he looked at her, he was disappointed with her, like if all this was a test, except he wasn't, he looked at her calmly. "That's what happens when you get too close to him, the more you seduce him the less he is focused on the task at hand, I'm sure you made him weak which is probably the reason why that boy killed him." Gordon said, touching his mustache as he looked at her, eventually finishing her plate he took another sip of his tea. "Hmm delicious, the food really is good around here never ate anything this good, I'm surprised that you didn't get fat from all the good food here, it's like a paradise. More tea madam Ravenclaw?"

Rowena's eyes widened in shock. It was actually amazing, he managed to annoy her even while she was dying. Of course she had suspected his arrival and she wanted to know why he had come, but everything happened so fast, the poison was too fast and too strong. Rowena frowned. It still didn’t make any sense, the flower didn’t look poisonous, but she wasn’t an expert when it came to plants, it was Helga’s area of expertise. Rowena felt like vomiting again and her fever seemed to be rising. She looked at Gordon, clearly shocked “It wasn’t my fault that he decided to leave your silly council. It was his choice, I had nothing to do with it. “Rowena closed her eyes again and took another deep breath. “I would never... he cares about me more than your foolish ideas and plans. At least I tried to help him and you just used his...” Rowena clenched her teeth in pain. “You ghastly creature” she whispered, managing to cast a deadly glance at Gordon. The man was obviously so foolish that he thought he would regain Alfie’s loyalty by killing his child. Rowena put her hands on her stomach, suppressing the urge to scream in pain.

"Not that foolish woman, there are things in motion that we cannot stop." Gordon said, for now there was something worse at work here, he suspected it, even though Alfie didn't tell him anything, even though they didn't really talk about it. "Alfie needs to be stronger, not attached to a woman or he wins." He said, he knew about the father, he kept looking at Rowena. "Please, the council is just an act, it meant something before, but not anymore. We have bigger problems in our hands, bigger problems for the founders, something will happen, Alfie needs to be at his top, he needs to be cold and cruel." Gordon said as he looked at her, taking a life could save countless others, he looked at her calmly, not waiting for her to understand as he got up. "You have twelve hours madam, if you live, you deserve your life, but if you slow Alfie down because you live, then it might be too late for the world we know."

Rowena looked at Gordon, wondering if he knew that Alfie's father had come back to life. She had no idea how he would know that unless he had spoken to Alfie. Rowena just shook her head, the pain was getting stronger. "You're wrong, I'm not making him weaker. He will never forgive you if you kill me." she said, hoping that she was right. If only she had told Alfie that she was pregnant, things would have turned out differently. "Only... only because you want him to be cold and cruel." Rowena managed to look up at him as he stood up. He was going to leave her there, leave her to die all alone, unable to call for help. She wouldn't even be able to say goodbye to her daughter and the other people she loved. Rowena lowered her gaze and rubbed her temples. "I'm not slowing him down." she whispered. "If anything happens, it won't be my fault."
