Abigail was perched atop a desk lying in the fifth floor corridor. She did not put it there. She was watching as stundents filed past. She hummed dreamily as she watched her fellow students. She probably should have been studying but was all so sure that there was nothing she was behind on. It was then that she thought she saw a face that she hadn't seen in months, Cole Potter. Abigail stood up on the desk to follow the boy. He had vanished however. Abigail wondered why she hadn't seen him for so long. She had guessed that he had been expelled or was he trying to hide from her?
"What are you doing!" Abigail turned to see who was yelling. Professor Nefertiti was glaring at her. "Get down, Ms. Alize. A prefect should know better! Twenty points from Ravenclaw!" Abigail stepped down and landed as though she were light as a feather and whispered an apologetic, "Sorry!"
Abigail was too intrigued by Mr. Potter's sudden appearance to care about House Points at the moment. So she bolted off after the lecherous boy. She heard the Professor screeching after her more. She might've said something about a detention but Abigail did not hear her properly. It was not long before she spotted James Potter, Cole's brother in an empty classroom. Abigail entered after him, grinning brightly. "Hullo!" Abigail exclaimed to get his attention. "Have you seen Cole?"

James trundled past the misplaced desk even as his mask was fading. He jumped in between a couple holding hands and dropped low to the floor as he felt the polyjuice wear off. He cursed as he heard the authoratative voice that could only belong to a teacher or prefect and quickly slid into an empty classroom. He was pleased with himself to see that it was the room he had actually been meaning to find. James' triumph caused him to throw caution to the wind as he strutted toward a window and peered outside, smiling as a king would over his vast property.
James was very familiar with all of the prefect's voices; especially those female. He nearly jumped out of his socks with shock as she greeted him. James grinned his most innocent smile and stole a glance at a nearby mirror to be sure he was not still half-transformed into his brother. Though the girl's query seemed to console his fear and his gaze shot back to Abigail's face. "Cole. Uhm. . ." James pushed a hand across the top of his head nervously, "He's ill. At home. Dragonpox. Very nasty. He doesn't want people visiting. Says he shall not be seen in such a state." James mumbled on about something that sounded close to 'still contagious'.
James laughed a short but distinct high-pitched chuckle. "I would not worry about him. He's strong and he's got that wife of his looking after him." James almost chuckled again. "So, as a prefect, I suppose you know an aweful lot about the killings around school and such. Any idea whose behind it all?" James grinned widely and stepped closer to Abigail irregularly, his head hung over his right shoulder. "I bet you like him more than you like Cole!" James chuckled again.

Abigail made a small nod at James. She could tell he was lying, she was actually alot better at it than he was apparently. Though why he was lying, was not as apparent to her. She considered him for a moment, as though she was going to ask about something else. After a brief silence she turned away from James and stared at the unwiped notes on the board from the previous class. It was details on some Muggle things.
Abigail turned her head to face James once again. "You seem very worried about him." She spoke as though it were an apology. Though her body language was rigid, far from sensitive to his feelings. "If Cole is at home, in bed with sickness. How did I just see his face out in the hall?" Abigail peered at him for a moment before grinning."I must have been mistaken. Is this your next class?"
