"Hush my darling. Mommy is here. Everything is fine. Please sweetheart."
Helga was pacing up and down restlessly in front of the rows of owls with her infant daughter curled against her chest. Adelle was trudging in her arms, crying her heart out. The child's distress brought tears to Helga's eyes and she momentarily froze in her steps and stared heavenwards.
Adelle reached for her mother's blonde curls, her fingers lacing around a stray strand and tugging hard. Helga grimaced and expertly untangled her daughter's hand from her hair. She looked down at the child, who had finally stopped crying and was starting to settle in her arms. Helga had recently discovered that the owl's hoots served as an efficient lullaby for Della.

He wondered what has changed since his 'cousin' was now here, also from the future, he had to make sure things were normal around here, he looked around, eventually hearing a voice, could it be? He entered the Owlery to just have a look at who was there, in case it could be an enemy trying to invade. His hand reached for his wand but he stopped when he saw the blonde hair, eventually approaching reluctantly and trying to be sneaky about it, he believed this was his mother, and perhaps she was holding his sibling? He tried to approach calmly so he could see her face.

She bent down and placed a light kiss on Adelle's forehead. The child shifted her position, rolling her small body into Helga's. The blonde woman started rocking the infant in her arms, humming softly. Marc was with Cornictacus, probably the both of them were already fast asleep.
The thought brought a small smile to her lips. She soon looked at her daughter, as Adelle stirred in her arms. The girl's small rosy lips parted and a brief yawn creased Adelle's features. Helga chuckled softly, however, her laughter died away when she heard the sound of approaching footsteps.
"Hello?" she said uncertainly after whirling around.
The fair haired boy standing in front of her looked very familiar. Helga had that overwhelming feeling that she knew the boy. On the other hand, she was fairly sure she had not yet seen him around Hogwarts. Eying him closely, she wondered to which House he belonged to.

Marc looked into her eyes, for the first time he was seeing his mums eyes, it was giving him weird feelings that were long gone, he wanted to jump in her arms and just hug her. He noticed the baby and realized it was his sister as a baby, he just looked for a while, remaining silent, he turned his head around, to hide the tear he was having. Seeing his mum made him seem emotional.
"I'm sorry Ma'am I didn't mean to startle you, I was just walking around and when I saw you alone here, I was curious as to what you might be doing here.''

Adelle balled her hands and stretched out in Helga's arms, at the same time turning her head away from her mother. Her lips parted and a yawn erupted from their midst. She fixed her light orbs on the boy and start cooing loudly while clenching and unclenching her small fists.
Having her eyes fixed on the infant, Helga did not notice the student giving her his back. However, she did hear the change in his voice. She looked up and stared at the back of his head with a concerned expression. She was silent for several seconds and decided to reply to his words.
"Della has trouble sleeping. The hoots seem to have a calming effect on her."
The use of the child's pet name was deliberate. All of Hogwarts knew about the young founder's children, and she had assumed he was part of their student body. She smiled at him warmly, then moved closer to him. Helga tilted her head to the side and started rocking the child in her arms.
"Is something wrong err...? I apologise but I cannot remember your name."
