Rowena Ravenclaw couldn't suppress a smile as she looked around the Great Hall. Most of the students had already arrived and they sat at four long tables, casually chitchatting. Rowena's eyes stopped on the table second from the left where her little eagles sat. Her smart and creative students, united by their love for knowledge, under blue and bronze. Founder's striking dark eyes flew from one familiar face to another, wondering how many new students would be joining them this year.
Rowena blinked and looked away, turning her attention to the fourth table where her colleagues sat. There had been only four of them at the beginning, Helga, Godric, Salazar and her, Rowena, of course. The school had been opened for only a few years, but more teachers and other staff members had joined them during that short time. Hogwarts was slowly becoming the best magic school in Europe. None of the founder had expected it, but all of them had secretly hoped for it. Rowena sat back in her chair, her smile widening. Dark times lay ahead, but she could allow herself a stolen moment of happiness and carelessness and enjoy the feast.

Chester slouched like the most exasperated and over fatigued student in the school. It was absurd since it was just the start of term but what had happened on the latter part of the term before summer had been drilled on his mind the whole vacation. He had been having flashback of the events that led him to the state of being heartbroken over the lost of one of his best buds along with the girl he loved more than anyone in the world. This was enough for him to stay out of focus for more than a few moments and possibly stay that way for the rest of the ceremony.
He ran a hand through his untamed and all time messy hair as his eyes scanned the hall absently. He could not help but stare at the Ravenclaw table for a while… foolishly hoping she was going to appear out of thin air if he stared long enough. And then, he found her. She had been sitting there all along… he just hadn’t notice her. He realized it was because of her hair. It was dark brown, not blonde… very unlike the time he met her for the first time. For a moment, he wondered why she dyed her hair that way. Was it her way of expressing her down feelings about everything? As a poet, though he was not as active as before, he was a keen observer of people’s actions and expressions.
Chester stiffened when Prue noticed him and when she smiled and waved at him, he felt his insides melt. There was something weird about the way she looked at him, the way she waved even. She almost seemed hesitant. Chester was about to wave and smile back, luckily he was able to stop himself. Alaric was there and Ches do not want to have any one of them to throw punches at each other. He promised Prue that and he was going to keep his promise. [/color][/blockquote]

Castor was seated among the other Hufflepuff students. Having been freshly sorted into the House. He knew his father would be disappointed with the outcome of Hufflepuff. But knew his mother would be supportive. Besides, he knew his father only thought lowly of Hufflepuff house because his older siblings preferred Slytherin. Castor himself would have preferred to become a Ravenclaw. He had developed a sort of crush on Rowena Ravenclaw ever since hearing of her knowledgeable nature. Seeing her in person only made him like her more. He was sad however, since she was far too pretty to ever consider him.
Castor dropped his eyes to the table in front of him. He thought he could feel the eyes of Salazar Slytherin boring him. Just waiting for the feast to end so that he could send an owl to his parents and evil aunts and uncles telling them about his failure to be chosen for Slytherin's house. Castor peeked up and saw that Slytherin was not even looking anywhere near him however.
He seemed to gather confidence and looked up. But it swept away when an older girl sat down next to him. Castor waved at her uncomfortably even though she was right next to him. He blocked the side of his face with one hand and pretended to take a severe interest in the silverware in front of him. A kind-faced boy of about seventeen sat across from Castor, Castor gazed at the stout young man for a moment then turned his head to scan the rest of the Hufflepuff table. He noticed that none of the Hufflepuffs looked as weak or ugly as his cousins and aunts and uncles said they would. Castor smiled to himself.

Alaric found himself walking along the corridors leading to the Great Hall. At first he really intended not to go for he thought that it was an absolute waste of time on his part but just the same, he knew that as a good student, he had to attend all school activities dutifully and the start of term feast was one of them. Dressed in a white dress shirt, black and blue striped tie, black trousers and the black Hogwarts robe, he entered the doors of the Great Hall, projecting a serious air about him.
He then made his way to the Ravenclaw table quietly, scanning the neighboring tables for familiar faces. Eventually, he found who he was looking for. Upon seeing her, he was utterly mesmerized by her looks. He sat down next to her and whispered into her ear, "You are really beautiful tonight, my dear." However, the moment his eyes drifted away from her, he caught sight of Chester waving towards their direction, probably waving at her even. He just fixed his gaze towards him for a while before he looked away.
He suddenly remembered the moment Chester had thrown a punch right at him. It was because he had managed to walk in between the two of them, and obviously he knew that he was heartbroken because of what he had seen. The minutes flew by very fast as Chester suddenly grabbed him and punched him right on the face and instead of retaliating, he had offered the other part of his face to be punched on. After a few minutes of one-sided sparring, he only managed to say, "I'm sorry, but as you can see, I am about to reveal the truth to you. Too bad you had to find it out ahead." Alaric then sighed as he recalled the scene and fixed his eyes towards the staff table, waiting for any activity. In his mind however, he was already formulating a plan of his own.

Tiberius didn't know why he didn't just skip the boring start of term feast. He had been through it many a time now, and could not be bothered with it again. He made his way lazily into the great hall, and walked past the other house tables, till he reached the slytherin one. Sitting on the long bench he kicked his legs out in front of him, kicking some poor slytherin girl but what did he care. Amanda cried out, and glared at Tiberius, but Tiberius just ignored her. He ran a hand through his hair, and fiddled with the annoying tie that hung around his neck. He looked around for Auri, he wouldn't tell anyone - but her - but he missed her. Tiberious didn't miss anyone, except his sister. But that was different. She was missing. He had reason to miss her, she was missing. But he had no reason to miss Auri. He knew he would see her, so why did he? Tiberius turned his head in the direction of the founders, and let his eyes survey the table. He leaned back as far as he could without falling.
Amanda had already sat, by the time Tiberius had arrived, she yelped when her shins were kicked harshly by two unruly feet. She glared at Tiberius, then waited for her sisters to arrive. She eyed the table in an annoyed fashion. Tiberius had not put her in a good mood. She almost wanted her sister to destroy his relationship. Almost. She clicked her fingers anxiously she just wanted to get away from here. Moving on to flicking the table, she began counting the seconds till she could get away.

She was small little girl she was slightly new to school she was second year and was doing her best to you know appear normal within the school ground. She so far no friends yet she was slightly new to the school and was focus on her studies because she thought it was important that she had and such things. She pull her hair back back in one braids and she quietly stopped at the hallway. Here the moment of truth she thought that she could do this. She never really was one that had friends yet.
She open the door a crack and she step through the door she had blue ribbon around the braid. She moved silently to the table and she was quiet as she took her place at the raven claw table that is. She had some problems of her parents but who did not and she ponder a few things as she took seat she look over at Rowena and the other boys. She thought if she had her book with her but no it eating time beside food give strength so she could study more and be smart and she want to be smart. She look around the other class mate and she look around and wonder if there would be anyone would be joining this meal she guess not there would not be alot joining them but she liked the quiet and beside she enjoy the meal and studying. She enjoy book work as matter fact and other such studies.
Of course the teacher would be there Sezar, Helga, Godric but honest she was happy about the house she put in and she was just glad it was not hufflepuff. Then again she could put other house such as slythern but she would not fit there either and she did not think at least. The other student she did not know well yet and she did not take the time to know and such things.
