As Justin ran, guiding Starr along the way, he never felt so tired in his whole life. It was just like running a marathon, only that he had to do so or else both of them will get killed. He could see that the trees were getting fewer and that he could see the glaring lights of the castle up ahead. He smiled at Starr and said, "Look, we're almost there!" His left arm was beginning to throb but he paid no attention to it.
He then looked up at the sky and saw that the moon was now hiding among the clouds. He knew that at this point, the wolf would be rendered powerless. He couldn't thank the heavens enough for hearing his prayer. Finally, their feet have managed to find themselves in front of the castle doors. Justin bent forward, clutching his knees as fatigue began to sink in at him. "I never felt so happy to be alive," he then said to Starr. "We need to get ourselves to the Hospital Wing. We both need medical attention," he then added, grinning like a stupid kid at her.

At this point in time, Starr did not know if her strategizing-and-trying-to-think-straight mind was more tired than her body after running kilometers for her life like crazy. It could be that the former was indeed more tired than the latter or vice versa. But, by then, Starr was too tired to answer even that question about herself for herself. As the two of them closed the gap between them and the school, Starr panted like crazy, feeling like there was no air left in the world anymore, her legs and forehead already screaming at her. Upon reaching the entrance door and seeing that the moon was behind the clouds and that it was not full anymore, Starr leaned on the door and allowed herself to slide down until she was already sitting on the ground. “I can’t believe it.” She said, her voice barely above whisper.
She could not help but nod vigorously at alleged Justin’s comment. “Never appreciated my life this much before.” She managed to say as she tried catching her breath. Starr could not help but grin like crazy back at alleged Justin. She so happy that both of them made it back to school alive. “Right. Shall we go now?” Starr asked, standing up and opening the door for both of them to come in. If only she was not wounded and too tired after the ordeal they just went through, Starr would have gone to the forest to investigate who the werewolf was.
