The Spell List
~A~
Accio - The Summoning Charm. This charm summons an object to the caster, potentially over a significant distance
Aguamenti - Produces a jet of water from the tip of a wand.
Alarte Ascendare - Shoots an object or creature into the air.
Alohomora – This charm is used to open and unlock doors.
Anapneo - Clears the target's airway, if blocked.
Anteoculatia – The Antler spell. A hex that turns a person's hair into antlers.
Aparecium – This spell makes invisible ink and invisible items in general, appear.
Aqua Eructo – A spell used to create a jet of clear water, and then control it.
Arania Exumai – A spell used to kill or, at least, blast back Acromantulas or other large spider species.
Aresto Momentum – It is used to slow down an object or being that is moving.
Ascendio – Lifts the caster high into the air.
Avada Kedavra – The Killing Curse. Causes a bright green flash and a rushing noise; the curse causes instant death to the victim.
Avifors – Turns inanimate objects into birds.
Avis – A flock of birds comes out of the wand.

Bombarda – Causes a small explosion.
Bombarda Maxima – Causes a large explosion.
Brackium Emendo – If used correctly, it is claimed that it will heal a broken bone.

Calvorio – The Hair Loss Curse. A spell that is cast on a victim to make him/her bald.
Carpe Retractum – Produces a magical rope attached to the caster's wand that pulls objects towards the spell caster.
Cave Inimicum – Warns of any approaching enemies.
Cistem Aperio – It opens a chest.
Colloportus – This spell will magically lock a door, preventing it from being opened by Muggle means.
Colloshoo – This spell is used to glue one's shoes to the ground with some sort of sticky ectoplasm.
Colovaria –A charm used to change one's hair colour and style.
Confringo – Blasting Curse. Causes anything that the spell comes into contact with to explode into flames.
Confundo – The Confundus Charm. Causes the victim to become confused and befuddled.
Crucio – Cruciatus Curse. Inflicts intense pain on the recipient of the curse.

Defodio -Gouging Spell. It causes deep gouges to appear in the object targeted by the spell.
Deletrius – An erasure spell. It erases images and magical "after-effects".
Densaugeo – This hex makes the victim's teeth grow rapidly.
Depulso – The Banishing Charm. Used to send the target to a certain location.
Descendo – Causes any targeted object to move downwards.
Deprimo – This spell places immense downward pressure upon its target, which may result in the violent fracturing of said target.
Diffindo – Severing Charm. Tears the target or a specific area on the target.
Diminuendo – Forces objects to shrink
Dissendium – Causes the statue of the humpbacked witch (Gunhilda Of Gorsemore) hiding the secret passage to Honeydukes to open up.
Draconifors – Turns statues of dragons into real dragons.
Ducklifors – Transfigures target creature into a duck.
Duro – Turns its target to stone.

Ebublio - When cast, it makes the target inflate and then explode into hundreds of bubbles.
Engorgio - Engorgement Charm. Causes objects to swell in size.
Engorgio Skullus – A hex which is used to swell the victim's skull.
Entomorphis - A hex which turns the target into an insectoid person for a short time.
Episkey - Heals relatively minor injuries.
Epoximise - Affixes an object to another like glue.
Erecto - Erects a tent or other structure
Evanesco - Vanishing Spell. Makes the target vanish.
Everte Statum – Throws the target backwards.
Expecto Patronum - Patronus Charm. A defensive spell used to conjure an incarnation of the Witch's or Wizard's innermost positive emotions to act as a protector against dementors and lethifolds. It can also be used to send messages.
Expelliarmus - Disarming Charm. This spell is used to disarm another wizard, typically by causing the victim's wand to fly out of reach. It can also throw the target backwards when enough power is put into it.
Expulso - A very powerful curse which causes a large explosion.

Fera Verto - Turn animals to water goblets.
Ferula - Creates a bandage and a splint.
Fianto Duri – Protective charm.
Fidelius - A complex charm enables secret information to be hidden within the soul of the recipient, known as a Secret-Keeper. The information is then irretrievable until and unless the Secret-Keeper chooses to reveal it; not even those who have the Secret revealed to them can reveal it to others.
Fiendfyre – A seemingly unstoppable cursed fire whose flames take the shape of fantastic creatures that appear to stalk those caught in its path. It can also destroy Horcruxes.
Finite (Incantatem) - Negates spells or the effects of spells.
Flagrante – A curse which causes any object affected to burn human skin when touched.
Flagrate - With this spell, the caster's wand can leave fiery marks.
Flipendo - The Knock-Back Jinx, used to push the target. If used repeatedly, it may bring down weaker enemies.
Furnunculus - Causes the target to become covered in painful boils.

Geminio - Creates a duplicate of any object cast upon.
Gemino - Whenever an object affected by this curse is touched, it duplicates itself into many useless copies to hide the original.
Glacius - A spell with great range, can freeze things to ice and can be melted by Incendio.
Glisseo - Causes the steps on a stairway to flatten and form a ramp, slide, or chute.

Harmonia Nectere Passus - Causes the object/person in a vanishing cabinet to pass in its twin/other vanishing cabinet.
Herbifors - A spell that makes yellow flowers sprout out of the victims head.
Herbivicus - Makes flowers and plants bloom in an instant
Homenum Revelio - Reveals human presence in the vicinity of the caster.
Homorphus – A charm which causes an Animagus or transfigured object to assume its normal shape.

Immobulus - Freezing Charm, renders target immobile.
Impedimenta – A jinx capable of tripping, freezing, binding, knocking back and generally impeding the target's progress towards the caster.
Imperio – Imperius curse, one of the three "Unforgivable Curses". Places the subject in a dream-like state, in which he or she is utterly subject to the will of the caster.
Impervius - This spell makes something repel (literally, become impervious to) substances and outside forces including water.
Inanimatus Conjurus - conjures an inanimate object.
Incarcerous - Ties someone or something up with ropes.
Incendio – Produces fire.
Inflatus - Inflates objects (living or dead).

Lacarnum Inflamarae – sends a ball of fire from the wand.
Langlock - Glues the subject's tongue to the roof of their mouth.
Lapifors - Turns small objects into real rabbits.
Legilimens - Allows the caster to delve into the mind of the victim, allowing the caster to see the memories, thoughts, and emotions of the victim.
Levicorpus - The victim is dangled upside-down by their ankles, sometimes accompanied by a flash of light.
Liberacorpus - Counteracts Levicorpus.
Locomotor - The spell is always used with the name of a target, at which the wand is pointed. It causes the named object to rise in the air and move around at the will of the caster.
Locomotor Mortis – Leg-locker curse, locks the legs together, preventing the victim from moving the legs in any fashion.
Lumos - Creates a narrow beam of light that shines from the wand's tip, like a torch.
Lumos Duo - Creates an intense beam of light that projects from the wand's tip.
Lumos Maxima - Shoots a ball of light at the place pointed, if the wand is swung.
Lumos Solem - Creates a powerful ray of light as bright as the sun.

Meteolojinx Recanto - Causes weather effects caused by jinxes to cease.
Mobiliarbus - Levitates and moves an object.
Mobilicorpus - Levitates and moves bodies.
Morsmordre - Conjures the Dark Mark.
Muffliato - This spell fills peoples' ears with an unidentifiable buzzing to keep them from hearing nearby conversations.
Multicorfors - a charm used to change the colour of one's clothing.

Nox - Turns off the light produced by Lumos.

Obliviate – Memory Charm, used to hide a memory of a particular event.
Obscuro - Causes a blindfold to appear over the victim's eyes, obstructing their view of their surroundings.
Oppugno - Causes animals or beings of lesser intelligence to attack.
Orchideous - Makes a bouquet of flowers appear out of the caster's wand.

Pack - Packs a trunk, or any luggage.
Partis Temporus - Creates a temporary gap through protective magical barriers.
Periculum - Creates red sparks/flares to shoot from the user’s wand.
Petrificus Totalus - Full Body-Bind Curse, used to temporarily bind the victim's body in a position much like that of a soldier at attention; the victim will usually fall to the ground.
Piertotum Locomotor - Spell used to animate statues and suits of armour to do the caster's bidding.
Point Me - Four-Point Spell, causes the caster's wand to act as a compass, and point North.
Portus - Turns an object into a port-key
Prior Incantato - Causes the echo (a shadow or image) of the last spell cast by a wand to emanate from it.
Protean Charm - Causes copies of an object to be remotely affected by changes made to the original.
Protego - The Shield Charm, causes minor to moderate jinxes, curses, and hexes to rebound upon the attacker.
Protego Horribilis - A powerful shield charm against dark magic.
Protego Maxima - A powerful shield charm against dark magic. Can be so powerful that it also disintegrates people that come too close.
Protego Totalum - Casts a shield charm over a small area that will not let anything pass through.

Quietus - Makes a magically magnified voice return to normal. A counter to Sonorus.

Redactum Skullus - A hex that shrinks the target's head. It is the counter-spell to Engorgio Skullus.
Reducio - Makes an enlarged object smaller. Counter-charm to Engorgio.
Reducto - Reductor Curse, breaks objects. In stronger usages, disintegrates them.
Relashio - A spell used to make the subject release whatever it is holding or binding.
Rennervate - Revives a stunned person.
Reparifors - Reverts minor magically-induced ailments, such as paralysis and poisoning.
Reparo - Repairs objects.
Repello Inimigotum – A strong spell used to push back the enemies. It can be so powerful that it disintegrates the persons entering this charm.
Repello Muggletum - Muggle-Repelling Charm, Keeps Muggles away from wizarding places by causing them to remember important meetings they or forget what they were doing.
Rictusempra – Tickling charm, causes an extreme tickling sensation that, in some cases, makes the target drop to the floor laughing.
Riddikulus - Boggart-Banishing Spell, forces the Boggart to take the appearance of an object the caster is focusing on. Best results can be achieved if the caster is focusing on something humorous.

Salvio Hexia - Deflects minor hexes aimed at an object.
Scourgify - Scouring Charm, used to clean something.
Sectumsempra - A dark spell that creates large, blood-oozing gashes on the subject as if said subject had been "slashed by a sword".
Serpensortia - Conjures a serpent from the spell-caster's wand.
Silencio - Silencing Charm.
Skurge - Cleans up ectoplasm, the slime-like residue left by certain ghosts. The spell manifests as a blast of greenish suds.
Slugulus Eructo - Slug Vomiting Charm. A jet of green light strikes the victim, who then vomits slugs for ten minutes. The sizes of the vomited slugs decrease with time.
Sonorous Charm - This charm emits a magnified roar from the tip of the wand. This noise disrupts all in its path, and can even be used to harm opponents.
Sonorus - Magnifies the spell caster's voice when one's wand is pointing to the side of the caster's neck.
Specialis Revelio - Scarpin's Revelaspell. Causes an object to show its hidden secrets or magical properties.
Spongify - Cushioning Charm. Creates an invisible cushioned area. Used primarily in broomstick manufacturing, to provide more comfort to the rider.
Steleus - A hex that causes the victim to sneeze for a short period of time. This spell can be used in duelling to distract the opponent.
Stupefy - stuns the victim. If used too forcefully, it will put the victim in an unconscious state.

Tarantallega - Makes victim's legs dance uncontrollably (recalling the tarantella dance).
Tergeo - A spell used to siphon matter from a surface, e.g. blood, ink, dust, etc.

Ventus - A strong blast of wind is shot from the end of the wand, used to push objects out of the way.
Verdimillious - A strong blast of wind is shot from the end of the wand, used to push objects out of the way.
Vipera Evanesca - Counter Spell for Serpensortia. Seems not to merely "Vanish", but causes the snake to smoulder from head and tail until it is reduced to a pile of ashes.
Vulnera Sanentur - Causes wounds and gashes to heal up and any blood to return to the victim.

Waddiwasi - Launches small objects through the air.
Wingardium Leviosa – Levitation/ Hovering charm, levitates objects.
