Svetlana tried to focus on eating her dinner. She felt rather than saw her utensil to her plate, she put the blades of the fork through a few pieces of lettuce and one piece of chicken. The food smelled so enticing, she missed the familiar scent of Scabior. A large pure blood boy who Svetlana thought might be a werewolf. In years previous, Svetlana had not been overtly kind to him. Her attitude changed toward when they had come back for their fourth year. The pudgy, soft boy had grown into a powerful and tall monster seemingly over a single Summer break. Svetlana did her best to elude him and discourage his advances but he was persistant and rather overconfident.
As Svetlana put the fork to her lips, she felt something grip her thigh tightly. Impulsively, she bit down overhard upon the metallic fork and caught a part of her tongue with her teeth. Her hand was upon her wand instantly, the fork fell from her mouth as her tongue throbbed with pain. Svetlana glared daggers and the grinning face of Scabior. She shoved his hand from her leg with her free hand and then aimed a punch at his stomach. Scabior laughed at her feeble retaliation and dodged her fist.
Svetlana rubbed her cheek softly as her tongue swelled to threaten the capacity of her mouth. She looked around for her fork with her hand still held to her cheek. Undeterred, Scabior reached out to touch her again, Svetlana beat his hand away everytime. "Stop!" She would repeat everytime he attempted.
Finally, Svetlana had had enough. Her wand pointed at Scabior's throat she screamed inaudibly but before she'd even begun to cast any spell, Scabior sent her wand flying to the side with a swipe of his overlarge paw. Svetlana looked stunned, grasping her wrist where his strike had fallen. She was glad he didn't know her secret as she held up both hands, prepared to refuse any further advances if she could.
