Ella sighed as she pulled herself out of bed to get dressed. She had been lying in bed reading for the past hour and a half or so, but she knew she would have to get out of bed and go down to breakfast or else her stomach would be mad at her later on. Slipping into one of her various dresses, Ella pulled her hair partially back with a clip, keeping it out of her face. She slipped on a pair of shoes before heading out for breakfast. Walking through the halls, Ella kept her head held high, as usual, and she stopped to speak to some friends here and there on her way. She smiled and greeted every professor she saw and was careful to watch where she was going. Finally reaching the Great Hall, Ella pushed open the large doors and entered, looking around for someone to sit with. She found that, despite her hour reading, she was still one of the first ones at breakfast and therefore she decided to sit at one of the empty tables, waiting for someone to enter for her to talk to. While she wasn't the most talkative of girls, she still preferred talking to complete silence. It just wasn't like her to be completely quiet when she didn't have to be. Sipping at her pumpkin juice, she looked around the room for the familiar face of someone she would like to talk to. Outgit

Mel wasn't one to get up early, but she woke up, due to a sugar rush she had the night before, with a massive head ache. Cursing her sugar addiction, she pulled up her stockings, glowering out into her room. Sooner or later the girl would have to go out to eat with everyone else, for her room was empty but that didn't nessicarily mean people were at breakfast. By the time she had pulled on a skirt and her mary-janes, she realized that she wasn't going for anything light today. Her clothing choice was more punk today, which was something she hadn't worn in a while but it bothered her not. Zipping up the Miniature jacket, she brushed her long blond hair for a second only for her stomach to growl. Yes, Melody Marks needed to go and eat. Walking towards the great Hall, she kept mostly to herself, other people seemed awfully happy and she felt a small blah part, the head-ache slowly becoming a head-rush. Pushing into the hall and finding the only person inside, Mel slipped her mary-janes over the seat and slid beside her, grasping a glass of juice and pulling it to herself before looking up to the girl with cocked brow. Sipping her juice a second, then putting it down, she coughed her voice out of her throat. "Good morning?" outfit

Ella was surprised when a girl, who looked to be a second or third year, slid into the space beside her. She smiled lightly at the girl, she wasn't going to be mean to someone she didn't even know, and watched as the girl pulled a thing of juice towards herself, cocking an eyebrow. Slytherin, Ella assumed, but with her family she wasn't one to be biased against Slytherins, so when the girl choked out a 'good morning' Ella smiled softly. "Good Morning," She replied. "I'm Ella Black, and you are?" She was curious about who this girl was, wondering if she knew the girl's family or not. Ella took another sip of her pumpkin juice as she waited for the reply to her question. Glancing around the hall, she was rather surprised to find it empty other than she and the girl beside her. Usually there were at least a few other Ravenclaws already at breakfast before her. Perhaps she had just gotten up a bit earlier than usual. [[OOC: I love the outfit ]]

(OOC: Thanks! =)) "Melody Marks" She stated, taking a napkin and dabbing her mouth with a napkin before tucking it in her lap. Melody wasn't one for being up early, she might have been raised in a very proper home, but she still liked sleeping in any time she could. So it surprized her that it was only her and the girl named Ella. From the fact that she didn't know her, Melody guessed she wasn't a slytherin, but she just didn't act like a hufflepuff, meaning she was either Gryffindor or Ravenclaw. Not that Melody cared for houses. Okay, Melody cared a little, she didn't hang out with many Gryffindors or hufflepuffs, but mainly for the reason they made her want to shove a jaw breaker up their noses or something. "What brings you down so early in the morning?" Mel asked, grabbing a roll and placing it on her plate, pulling it open and spreading honey over it. Melody had an addiction to candy. Not the sweet crap muggles made, no, the hard core sugary deaths, the best that wizards could make. Melody ate alot of sweet, but gained no weight due to her high metabolism, and it didn't do anything to her teeth surprizing enough. outfit

[[OOC: Welcome ]] Ella nodded, saying, "Nice to meet you Melody." She had heard of the Marks family once or twice, but she was pretty sure they weren't close family friends, or else she would have met Melody before this point in time. Smiling at the younger girl, Ella watched as Melody tucked a napkin neatly into her laugh. She was definitely a pureblood, only they seemed to care about manners. Ella, being a pureblood as well, followed Melody's actions and tucked a napkin into her lap as well before pulling a small plate of eggs towards herself. Thinking about her answer to Melody's question, Ella shrugged slightly, answering, "I'm just a morning person I guess. What brings you down?" She turned the question back on the younger girl. Ella had never really seen the point of small talk, even after growing up on it at all those pureblood balls where all the conversations were small talk, but that didn't mean she was going to be rude and not make small talk with the girl beside her. Especially since they seemed to be the only people in the Great Hall at the time.

Auriga Black had had enough. She let out a soft groan and pushed herself into a sitting position. With narrowed eyes, she turned her head to the right and frowned at the sleeping && snoring figure of Emmeline. Auri pushed back the covers and climbed out of her bed, wishing that Emmy would go to the Hospital Wing for some medicine rather than inflict her snoring problem on them. As she slipped her feet into a pair of expensive looking slippers, Auriga glanced around the dorm. It was quite surprising that the other girls weren't bothered with the noise... yet again she had been raised differently. Auri reached for her watch and as she read the time decided that she might as well head to the Great Hall.
The young Slytherin opened one of her drawers and pulled out a plain white tank top and a pair of silk black shorts. This was not her usual or favourite clothing but she felt too hot to wear anything else. When she was fully dressed, Auri reached for her Slytherin robes and pulled them on before slipping on a pair of heeled boots. Auriga passed a hand through her dark hair and then pulled it back into a tight ponytail. She made sure that her fringe covered her forehead neatly and then dabbed some rouge on her pale cheeks. By the time she was ready, her roommates had started waking up but Auri didn't feel like waiting for them.
Ten minutes later, Auriga stepped inside the Great Hall like she owned the place. She paused in her tracks and cast a quick glance around her. Auri spotted her older sister seated at a table with a Slytherin. That's something, she thought to herself. Since she was a child, Auriga had thought that the sun rose and set on her older sibling. When Elladora had been sorted into Ravenclaw, it had little or no meaning to Auriga. But after starting Hogwarts and listening to Slytherin's speech she started having a different persoective. At least Ravenclaws were not as bad as Gryffindors or Hufflepuffs.
Auri marched up to the two students with her head held up high. She stopped beside her sister's seat and glanced down at her. Auriga shifted her gaze on the other Slytherin and eyed her up and down. Her face was familiar but Auri had no interest in her name. She turned her attention back to her sister and greeted her, "Good morning Elladora. What a pleasant surprise. School has been so hectic lately that we haven't had time to have a proper chat." Auri then looked from one girl to the other and asked, "Would you ladies mind if I take a seat?"As she smiled sweetly at the pair of them, Auriga hoped that her friends wouldn't take too long to get ready.

"Couldn't sleep, unfortunately, candy gives horrible morning aches" She groaned, "By now you would think I'd have a limit for myself, but I have an addiction to sweets" She smiled, taking a sip of her juice. Taking a biscuit and biting into it dantily, she kept quiet for a bit. Melody hadn't small talks because it never went anywhere. Melody wanted to say more, but how did she get a conversation going. But when she got the the middle of the biscuit, she winced and put the biscuit back down. Maybe she should have paid attention to what she was really eating. "Uck, that's what I get for not watching my food" She grumbled, downing the gross taste in her mouth with juice. That's when a girl came walking up to them. "I don't mind, as long as Ella doesn't" Mel Answered, looking to the ravenclaw them for another food item that wouldn't make her sick to her stomach. Outfit

While she spoke to her sister, the other girl made a comment about the food and Auri ignored her, expected Elladora to reply. Auriga looked both disappointed and annoyed that the Slytherin girl was doing the talking. She frowned down at her sister before fixing her gaze on the other girl with a raised eye brow. Did she just call Elladora, Ella?, she thought to herself. Auri's surprise soon disappeared as she scoffed softly and turned her attention to Elladora. The fourteen year old shook her head and sat down beside her sister. Auriga folded her arms over the table and straightened her back before replying iciliy, "I'm sure Ella will not oppose to my presence. Isn't that right sister dear?"
Without waiting for a reply, she reached for the nearest pumpkin juice jug and poured herself a glass. Auriga took a long sip before lowering her cup back to the table. She cleared her throat and said, "I recieved a letter from father last night." Auri paused and looked briefly at the other Slytherin before adding with a taunting smile, "He's not pleased with you. He told me that mother is awfully upset that you haven't written them yet... and you know how he is when mother gets upset." Auriga couldn't understand how their parents had forgiven her for becoming a Slytherin. She was sure, that if it had been her daughter she would have given her hell.
