Cassie stood in the Astronomy Tower, leaning against the stone walls and gazing up-wards toward the night sky, where a million and one stars twinkled. The dark haired girl folded her arms across her chest, watching the far off lights and wondering how it would feel to touch one of them. Probably hot, and painful. Or at least mildly uncomfortable.
She sighed and walked over to the other side of the tower, past the stairs that led back into the normal floors and corridors of Hogwarts. It was nice up here, quiet and peaceful, where not many people ventured because of the cold climate. Cassandra peered over the wall, back to the stairs, completely engrossed in the night sky,

Viktor needed a peaceful place to finish his schoolo work, he sighed calmly as he walked toward the Astronomy tower, he hoped no one would be there as he sighed calmly. He also had to find out more information about those relics, when he arrived, he knew that someone was here but he didn't bother to make his presence known, as he threw his bag on the floor and sat down, opening the book to start his work, as he looked at the stars calmly to know which is which, for that work the teacher gave them, he sighed it was boring but he had to do it..
"Calm place isn't it?" Viktor said, without even bothering to look for the other person in here, as he stared at the stars and back at a couple of parchments with his quill dipped on the ink, he looked at his book for the different star names and what those star symbolize.

Cassie jumped and twirled around hand shooting for her wand, but relaxing and she saw another student. Older, and a Slytherin, one she had seen in school before but never spoken with. Mainly because he was a Slytherin, but quite frankly she just didn't care enough about him. She scanned his school stuff, lips twitching a little.
"Yes, thats why I was up here. Strange place to do your homework though..." She replied, talking a step closer, feeling somwhat wary and a little intimidated but the other student. "So who might you be?"

"Strange? Not really, the work is about stars." Viktor said as he started writing on the parchment, his voice was calm and he seemed rather calm, usually he would of done something to her right this instant mostly because people were asleep, and she was the ideal easy prey to attack but he didn't feel like it, as he kept on writing on the parchment, looking up at the stars. "Viktor's the name." Viktor couldn't recognize her by her voice and he didn't even take the time to look at her when he spoke, more focused on his work rather then her.
"And who might you be?" Viktor said, still looking at the parchments as he finished one of them, he put the quill back on the ink and finally turned his head to look at her.

"Ah, well... That explains it." Cassandra replied, sitting down a few feet away, watching him write. He seemed all peaceful and unnaturally calm considering he was a Slytherin, whose students were known to be, well... Not the friendliest. Cassie crossed her legs, eyes the other student and his belongings, before relaxing a little. She frowned when she was told his name, she had heard some weird rumors about this man.
"Well, I'm Cassandra but most people call me Cassie or Cass..." she mumbled, looking at his homework then back at the sky. She felt him gazing at her and felt a prickle of unease, wondering why he chose now to finally look at her. Cassie looked back at him, meeting his gaze with a slightly defiant look in her eyes, determined to not let him intimidate her.

Viktor looked for a while deeply in her eyes, completely disinterested on hurting her for the moment. He looked back at the stars and started writing again. "Eying people's possessions is really rude you know." Viktor said, as he kept on writing and looking at the stars symbolism, from time to time he looked away or back at the necklace he was wearing, he sighed again. "What brings you here?"

Cassandra blinked, pulling away from his gaze and shaking her head. "Yes well, sneaking up here is rude too..." she mumbled, looking for an excuse as she fixed her eyes on a crack on the floor. The young girl looked back at Viktor, noticing the way he kept glancing at his necklace.
"Um, the quietness, and soltitude, I'm not really a people person to be quiet honest." she responded, fidgiting slightly and looking back up at Viktor. "That and night is my favourite time of day."

He took another parchment as he finished the second one, listening to Cassie calmly, he didn't really care much about what she said, but he met a lot of people who like him loved the night. He just smiled. "Most people I met love the night more than the day, it's the same for me and I love it when it's peaceful." Viktor said as he looked at her wondering what else she could be doing here, it just seemed like she was here to relax. "It doesn't matter if you're not a persons people... but you do know that it is a bit odd for a Gryffindor.. to seem afraid of interacting with a crowd people."

Cassie leant back against the wall, yawning as she did so. She listened to him talking, overcoming her initial worries as she closed her eyes and let him finish. The girl heaved a sigh at his last sentence. "I never used to have problems with people, but after my parents were murdered a year and a half ago I just sorta... started having interaction problems, y'know..." she mumbled awkwardly, eyes remaining closed as she drank in the night air.
"For a Slytherin you're being unusually social."

"What does it have to do with being a Slytherin? People from any house can be bad or good, you shouldn't judge." Viktor said, sighing calmly, talking was important, because it is part of being charismatic, he has to be charismatic to get what he wants, he will never stop, until he reaches that power.

Cassie frowned and tilted her head, mulling over what Viktor had said. "I never really thought about it that way, I guess because most people in your house are completely insane I decided you all were..." she mumbled, sounding a little ashamed. "Sorry then, I guess. So how much more homework you got to do?"
