Melody sat on the clock tower window sill, staring up to the ceiling with a lollipop in her mouth. Blueberry filling her mouth, and the soft clicking of the clock behind her, she rather stood unmoved in any sort of way. Enthusiasm gone, motivation gone, Mel just felt like collapsing and knocking out right then and there. But she didn't, she rolled the hard candy on a stick around her mouth, looking to the large hands move slowly across the clock face. Mini-skirt, practically painted on, was pulled down a small bit to cover up below her thighs that were cold against the slab stone beneath her as she turned her blond head to the side to look out the window. Melody wondered how long it would be until her blond hair turned like her mothers, firey temptress red. Despite the fact and her clothing choice, Melody would never be a temptress. Mel ran a hand through her long golden locks before looking up to the clock that rang noon, the sun still out and the breeze still blowing. That's when she heard the sound of footsteps and she rolled her head around to look to whoever could be walking around the clock tower. Maybe someone who could bring Mel back from her bored state. outfit

Nero, being the hopeless dependant child he was. Had been stalking someone better than him. However, he'd lost their trail. And so, his instinct had led him here. He smirked as the clock rang noon. When Nero noticed a person was already here, he reacted instantly. Nero ducked low to the floor and jumped backwards behind the cover of a large desk. His hand had already retrieved his wand from his pocket. With a whisper he cast a spell to soften the sound of his own jump before he'd even landed.
Despite this reaction, Nero knew it was far too late. He'd been far too bold in his steps. So, he peered out from behind the desk toward Melody Marks cautiously. He aimed his wand at her. Forcing his boy-ish voice as deep as it would go he demanded, "What are you doing hiding there, you? Trying to ambush ME? Do you know who I am?"

Seeing a flash of something, she turned her head in a lagging way, clicking her sneakers against each other as she tried to see who it was. Nothing came to mind, or no one for that matter as she brushed her blond strands back behind her ears as she blinked tiredly. Her whole body felt as if on depressants, and everything was lagging. Cocking a brow, there was movement near the old desk, she could see it from the angle she was at that there was just enough movement for it not to be the breeze just blowing. Brow still cocked, she sat up and swung her legs over the edge to jump to her feet in the tower. Fixing her mini skirt before looking to the boy looking around the desk. What...? What was he doing? he had to be absolutely mad, absolutely insane. "What?" She blurted out, putting her hands on her hips and looked at him. "Do I know... What! You insane little creep, Of course I don't know who you are, you're hiding behind a desk you Moron!" She snapped. Outfit

Nero could tell that Melody was very little threat to him now. He hadn't been afraid for his safety however, but had been in fear of revealing himself to his chase. Nero had been chasing Auriga around the castle for the past few weeks. He didn't actually care if others knew about his crush, but he could not confront her himself.
Nero climbed to his feet slowly, seeming to have tired from his silly antics. "I thought you were," Nero paused to think for a moment, debating whether to speak her name or not. "Someone else." He shrugged and sat upon the top of the table he'd just used for cover. "I wonder what she's doing in this stupid tower anyway..." Nero thought aloud. Not wholly sure if he was speaking to himself or Melody. Or even referring to Melody or Auriga for that matter. He seemed to make up his mind however as he turned to Melody and asked, "What would you come here for anyway?" Nero's expression showed him attempting to think out his question.
From out of nowhere, however, Nero's expression changed and he cried out again. His tone demanding, "Aren't you a Slytherin?! Why do you girls come to the strangest places alone?" Nero shook his head disapprovingly. He hated chasing girls. But enjoyed watching them at the same time. It was an annoying hobby, to say the least.

Lily was walking down the corridor towards the Clock Tower, carrying two heavy books. She was really annoyed; she hated everything and everyone at that moment, boring professor Slytherin and his beloved Potions and Poisons, the long essay he'd given them the day before and school in general. Lily didn't think it was the right kind of magic, there were other things except those that they were taught. Mirrors, for example, were so much more fun than Astronomy or Potions.
Lily heard voices and stood still, just listening to them. There was a boy... and a girl, but Lily didn't seem to recognize their voices. She came just a bit closer and leaned against the wall, trying to hear what they were talking about without being seen.

"I'm sitting here trying to entertain myself, and you?" She rolled her eyes. The boy had to be really weird to talk to himself. Or maybe he was thinking outloud, but either way it was quite weird that someone would act that way. Melody didn't talk to herself, no normal person did and this boy was seriously making her rethink who truly got allowed into slytherin these days. He wasn't a first year, he was far too tall and looked older than her for that. But still, there was something seriously odd about him. "Yes I'm a slytherin! My name is Melody Marks and unlike boys, Girls like fresh air... why are you up here? Huh?" She growled, hands on her hips. The scratch of her jean mini-skirt beneath her nails as she was close to clonking this boy on his head. How old was he anyway, and was he in slytherin as well? Had to be, his attitude was remarkably similar to the stereotypical slytherin. Only then did Melody catch a wisp of blond hair, maybe it was her imagination but she could have sworn she heard more foot-steps and a flash of blond hair around the corner. Furrowed brows, she looked to the corner before eying her way back to the boy in front of her. Outfit

Nero gazed at Melody as if she were mad. He closed his eyes for a moment as he formulated a response to her. As he opened his eyes, he threw a hand over his head to straighten his hair back. "Well, Marks. I am here for entertainment as well. But not from myself. If I tell you, you must promise not to tell her. I am not a coward. But I don't want to seem," Nero paused for a moment. He scratched his chin, "Desperate."
Nero caught Melody's eye movement, "What?" He spun around, hopping off the table top. He scanned the area Melody was looking. "Are you daft? You scared me half to death!" He turned to Melody again and urged rudely, "So?"

Melody cocked a brow at the boy. He was a strange fellow for sure, and he was only making her want to hit him more and Melody wasn't really the violent type. Actually, she was incredibly not the violent type, mostly because if she got bruised, she would bleed alot. That's what Anemia did to people like her, and so she had to refrain from bruises and sprawls, but this guy was making it incredibly hard for her. Hands on her hips and looking at this boy whom she was going to ask Slytherin about, why had he let this boy in, Salazar surely had no patience for people like him anyway. Ignoring how weird it felt to call one of her professors by their first name, the girl rolled her eyes. "Damn well, Merlin knows you look desperate plenty, I don't have to say a word for the world to know" She hissed under her breath, not caring if he heard. If the boy was up here because of a girl, and thank the lords it wasn't because of Melody, then he definitely had to be a little desperate. Especially if he was following her and wasn't hanging out with whoever he had a crush on. Glaring at him, she let a sigh out, "I thought I saw something" She whispered before rolling her shoulders back. "Fine, I promise not to spread your secret around," She took her pinkie and made an x formation over her heart. It was a family thing, her mother did it, her grandmother did it, it was just a sign that they were promising something. A quirk yes, but a silly one. outfit

Nero nearly laughed at Mel's ridiculous action. He had seen such behaviours before, childish he considered them. He shook his head slowly, smirking like a goblin on a lucrative business deal. "I never intended to tell you a thing. But seeing you do that has convinced me of your foolishness. Doubtful anyone would believe you anyway. I followed Auriga Black here. We're going to be married after school. And Slytherin will have to treat his cousin's son with more respect. Because I will have a respectable wife. And together we will cleanse the world of Muggles and half breeds. Not Gryffindor or Slytherin himself could stand in our way." Nero laughed with glee at the thought of his triumphant future. "Fear will grip all of my enemies. I have already poisoned my sister's cat. My brother's owl. I have perfected two lethal poisons. Some day, I'll get Gryffindor to drink one. After I've submitted him in a duel. Avada Kedavra is too quick. That spell is meant for meaningless people. Like you. If you should choose to start spreading nasty rumours." Nero looked down at the wand in his hand. He turned it over in his fingers slowly. He looked back up to Melody with a cold, daring smirk.

"Foolishness?" She hissed under her breath, looking at this boy. He was truly a pain in her neck, how dare he insult her, not only that he was ranting now. Not just ranting, he was insulting Salazar, saying he would ever be greater wizard, Yea Right! Slytherin might not be the good guy, hell, he might not have a good bone in his body, but this kid was disillusion if he thought he had a chance against Slytherin. Salazar would cremate him before the boy could even see it coming. Pursing her lips and gripping her hips with her fingers, she was glowering at this boy till she couldn't stand it. Ripping out her wand she stepped right out to him.
"Don't you Ever, EVER! Threaten me you insane little boy! Don't you think for a second I'm afraid of your silly parlor tricks" She snapped, poking him with her wand. Suddenly it hit her, and she gasped, falling to her knees. Great, a vision, right now? REALLY! Gasping, she held her throat as images flashed by her and every person she was seeing was holding their throat, choking or unable to breathe. It was dark and there were trees in one, the other was in the halls, a kid was up in the air being swung back and forth by a tall teacher, then was a girl in the great hall, food in her throat. Snapping back, wide eyed and panting, Melody instantly forgot Nero was even there and got to her feet, straightening up. She had to go Tell one of the founders, some people were choking. For once, a useful vision! Finally, that's when she was hit with the realization that Nero had been there when it happened. "Damn..." She Growled, looking to the boy. If he said a word she would blast him off the clock tower!

Nero hadn't been expecting Mel to answer him so strongly, for a moment his eyes widened in surprise. He took a single step back, but almost instantly seemed to regroup his wits.
Nero glared even as Melody fell before him. Her wand poked him and he yelled, "Hey!" She seemed to be in some trance, Nero stared at her with a slight dissatisfaction.
When Melody rose again, Nero contorted his features in great consternation. "Did you just faint?" There was no trace of concern in Nero's voice. He was merely curious about the strange occurance. And he'd have been lying if he wasn't a tad curious about it.

Lily listened to Nero's words hidden behind the wall. She was amused by his words, the boy seemed to be totally out of his mind. She had to giggle when he said something about marriage and being Slytherin's cousin. He was probably just another silly boy, obsessed with his girlfriend. Lily might have even taken him serious, but there was just no pattern in his words and plans. Lily had always liked patterns.
There was something really strange going on. The girl had a weird expression on her face, her eyes seemed blank. Lily was so surprised that she left her hiding place and came closer to see what would happen next.

"No! Why in heavens would I faint" She snapped but bit her tongue to keep the rest back. Melody wasn't supposed to tell people about it, one because all it did was get her weird looks from the people around her, and two because her professor said it was a bad idea. Melody had a theory he just wanted her to use her 'powers' for him, but at the moment she now realized what it would do either way. Trying to keep her mouth shut from trying to explain, she saw another girl. The blond hair! She knew she wasn't crazy, there was a third person in this clock tower. Swallowing air before rummaging her pockets for some kind of candy, feeling relief when she found the last piece she had. Mel would have to stock up on more, she was going low, and candy was one of her addictions.
"Hello there" Melody stated, looking to the girl who came from no-where in Mel's mind.

Nero took two steps back from Melody. He wasn't sure what to do now. Apparently she was going to say she hadn't fainted. And she was probably right, but Nero could find no further explanation and it was obvious Melody wouldn't provide one. "Fine then." He replied with a cold calm he hadn't shown earlier.
Nero thrust his hands into his robe pockets. There was nothing he could do about his confessions now. He could gamble on whether the two girls thought him significant enough to spread what he'd said to others however. Despite his egotism, Nero tended to keep a low profile.
"This place seems pretty popular among Slytherin students. Perhaps theres some deamonic artifact about. . ." Nero had been trying to mock the other two Slytherin students at first, but now he was curious about dark influences within the castle. Nero's mind had wandered great distances away by now.. And he stared into space, caught in a horrible nightmare that he pretended he would enjoy.

Melody felt a slight twing of guilt, but she couldn't tell him she was a seer. It wasn't like he would tell anyone anyway, he told her to hold her tongue so he would have to in return. But She couldn't tell anyone, and sometimes it was hard to hold it in. Making up excuses for why she knew something others didn't, it made her life hell alot of the time. Mel really wanted to tell him, to tell everyone so people would stop looking at her weird. No-matter the need to tell, she couldn't and kept her tongue still. "It's nothing, just a condition... it happens" She mumbled, crossing her arms over her chest and looking away. She scoffed and rolled her eyes. "There's nothing demonic here, I can promise you that! It's just quiet, or... well... was" She added. Realizing that she had been completely alone minutes ago and she was perfectly bored and content. Now there were people everywhere and it was rather strange how fast the tower had become occupied. Who knew, maybe in a few moments the whole slytherin dorm would flock to the clock tower. Melody hoped not. outfit
