Auriga looked pleased with the compliment. She beamed at Tiberius and replied with a laugh, "I know." Auri stopped briefly after hearing Pandora's words and with a taunting smile replied, "Jealousy makes us say the meaniest things." She enjoyed hearing Tiberius say her name, he made it sound even nicer than it was. Auriga liked asseritive boys. Her mother taught her that man should be the ones in control, but that are women who truly make the decisions. "Would you like to lead the way?" she asked tentively.

Tiberius looked around, "Okay" he said simply, before looking around again, "This way" he said, taking his hand out of his pocket and pointing to the direction he wanted then he asked, "Do you mind taking a walk around the lake?" he sighed and pulled with his free arm at his collar, then tugging the tie around his neck down he smiled at her, "Don't like Miss Zabini much?" he asked her, Miss Zabini was okay, he did not like nor dislike her, in his opinion though she was slightly annoying.

Auri gave a small nod when he pointed out the direction and with a casual smile said, "Lead the way Mr Nott." She returned the smile and replied, "Anywhere is fine for me." She batted her eye lashes up at him. At the mention of Pandora, Auriga stiffened and looked at Tiberius sharply. She narrowed her eyes and hesitated. Chosing her words carefully she said, "We do not see eye to eye."

Tiberius started walking with Auriga his feet padded at the floor as he slightly dragged his heels. He shook his head, shaking the lose hairs that were falling into his eyes off his face. He saw her stiffen at his careless mention of Miss Zabini. "Oh." he simply said "Forget I said anything then." he stated "So..." he said slowly. He looked at her "how are you?" he asked randomly.

Auriga's frown turned into a smile. She moved closer to Tiberius and said simply, "Thank you." Auri laughed lightly at his random question and replied, "I am fine. Actually, at this moment I can say that I have never been better." Before starting school, that year, her mother had told her to be gracious and flirtatious with her possible suitors. "And you?" she asked pleasantly.

Tiberius smiled a lop-sided smile at her, "Well, Auriga. That is good" he said politely. He grinned "I am excellent, my dear" his grin didn't falter. At the back of his brain, he actually felt a little sad. Auriga reminded him of Kayleigh, but he wouldn't allow himself to voice this. He smiled at her, and ran a hand through his sandy blond hair.

Another thing Auriga had learned from her mother was not to trust anyone. She knew it was not a nice thing to tap into others' minds, but the urge was very strong. Auriga did not look happy with what Tiberius was thinking about her. She had always thought of herself as unique... one of a kind. Thus, she couldn't digest the fact that she reminded him of some Kayleigh. Auriga smiled at Tiberius and replied, "I am glad to hear that." She stopped in her tracks and shifted her gaze to a nearby bench. "Shall we sit?" she asked him.

Tiberius looked at her, and felt a little shocked. She didn't look happy. He sighed gently, as she smiled at him, "Sure" he replied casually. He smiled back at her. Kayleigh, probably would have loved Auriga. But his little sister was missing, and his parents covering it up meant that he had to not mention her, and only reply about her when asked. He hated it. He had been on good terms with Kayleigh. Tiberius, sat after she sat down, and leant back on the bench. "Its quite beautiful here at Hogwarts, really, sometimes eerily pretty don't you think?" he mused. Letting any random thought out of his head at that moment.

Auriga gasped softly and looked away, feeling almost ashamed of her previous thoughts when she realised Kayleigh was his sister. She patted his arm almost as if she was comforting him. Auri smiled at Tiberius and untangled herself from him. She cleaned the bench with one flick of her wand and then sat down. She looked up at Tiberius and waited for him to join her so that she could rest her head on his shoulder. Auriga nodded absentmindedly at his words and replied, "You are right. I enjoy it very much here."

Tiberius was slightly confused - surely she couldnt read his thoughts. He smiled at her anyway. He placed his chin on the top of her head, as she rested her head on his shoulder. "Its a place to relax really, away from troubles - only the academic ones remain" he said, he may hate a lot of things about life, but he could always rely on hogwarts being a sanctury. He hoped Kayleigh had found somehwere safe. He shoved any thought of his missing sister to the back of his mind. What a mood ruiner was that, thinking of his sister while with another girl. "I hope that if all else falls, Hogwarts remains" he said, this was probably one of the most sensible and genuine conversations he'd had in a while. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders, and smiled, one of his lop-sided smiles. It was a rarity for him to have such peace. Usually he was fussing with his hair and looks, or getting annoyed at something or another.

Her smile widened when Tiberius rested his chin on her head and she allowed herself to close her eyes and enjoy the moment. She looked thoughtful at his words and pouted her lips ever so slightly. In the end, she gave a nod of her head and said quietly, "Funny as it sounds I feel the same." Hogwarts was her cocoon. She dominated her year and those below hers, Auri had even some power over older students. She might be an air head but she was not stupid. Auriga knew that out of Hogwarts, things would be different. She snuggled closer to Tiberius when he wrapped his arm around her body, feeling almost wanted. "What do you want to do after leaving Hogwarts?" she asked curiously.

Tiberius had a wistful smile on his face, he tightened his hold around her, but made sure not to hold her too tightly. He didn't want to harm her, he smiled as she leant in to him. "It is quite funny, but I am glad someone else feels the same" he said genuinly. He thought for a while at her question. He was a sixth year - the next year would be his last and yet he had not really given a thought as too what he wanted to do. "I'm not really sure, I mean I have enough money to live on, but I'd like to build on it, I guess maybe a potioneer" he said thoughtfully. Tiberius was a sufficient potion brewer, and had quite a skill for it. But he wasn't the best. "What about you?" He asked her back. He closed his eyes, and relaxed in the moment of peace.

Auri sighed and snuggled closer to Tiberius listening to his words enviously. Potions was her favourite subject and she was quite good at it. She sighed again at his question and replied in a flat tone, "I am expected to find a husband and produce male heirs." Auriga pulled back and looked at Tiberius with a shrug. Her lips were smiling but her eyes looked sad.

Tiberius sighed, being a pureblood woman must be harsh, not allowed to follow your dreams. "I do not want to know of what your expected but what you wish to do?" he asked softly, he smiled at her gently. He ran a hand through his hair, and gently tapped his fingers against his leg. He let her pull back from him, and he looked down at her face. For someone who was smiling, she did not look happy. "You do not look happy, your eyes betray you, my dear" he said quietly. Running his thumb down her cheek bone, and jaw.

Auri seemed genuinely touched by his words. She stared into his eyes and her expression softened when his thumb came in contact with her skin. Auriga leaned back into him and said with a sigh, "What I desire matters not. Mother says that once married my sole duties will be to my husband and children. She believes only fools think of achieving something beyond that."
