Andrea heard a second thud and frowned. "Mel, what just happened?" She asked, worried. Getting down on her knees, she whispered "Lumos." [/i] to her wand and looked down in the hole and met Mel's eyes. She gave a kind smile and a short laugh to Mel's comment. "I know. You're almost there. Hold on." Andrea said, sticking her wand between her teeth and laying down on her stomach. She reached her arm out and stretched her fingers out as far as they would go. Hopefully, Mel would be able to reach for her hand and Andrea would be strong enough to pull Mel up. Thankfully Mel wasn't all too big, and Andrea felt the adrenaline pumping through her body. When I get back to the common room, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna pass out. She thought bitterly. [/blockquote]

Mel looked down to the lizards laying on the ground and furrowed her brow. Did she really have that strength to punch it. Or did she scare it with her scream. Whatever happened, Melody let out a sigh. That's when one opened it's eyes and she began to scamper up the wall even more. No way did she need to stay in the spot longer than she needed to. Panting for air, she looked to the top where she could see the light from Andrea's wand and smiled weakly. "That was the sound of adrenaline knocking a human sized lizard off a dirt wall" She laughed weakly as she tried to let her nerves unwind. Melody would surely need some therapy after this one.
Pushing onto the wall, she reached up and took Andrea's hand. Pushing her feet against the ground and using her free hand, she used Andrea's grip against hers to get up to the top. Flinging herself onto the top of the ground, she let out a breath she wasn't even sure she had been holding. "Well then... lets take the forbidden forest off my vacation spots" She groaned, slowly getting to her feet.

Andrea didn't question Mel's adrenaline. In all honesty, she wanted to go back to the school and take a long, hot shower. She was beginning to lose feeling in her arms when Mel grabbed onto her arm and hoisted herself up. Andrea rolled off her stomach, took her wand out of her mouth and laid down on her back, looking up at the canopy of trees above them. Biting her lip, she tried to think of another way that they could go back. At least they would know what to do if they fell into a hole, though.
Laughing bitterly, Andrea couldn't help but agree with Mel. The mysterious forest that had held so much excitement for her was now just a place to go and get lost, maybe even die. "I agree. If I ever have to come in here again, I might just cry." Andrea said with all seriousness. "Shall we keep going?" She asked, standing up and brushing the dirt off her robes.

Melody felt dumb, she felt adrenaline rushing through her head, but also dumb. Because she was a seer, she saw things before they happened, so why couldn't she see this happening. She saw that morning and saw herself coughing up the muffin that had been gross to her, she found out it was a strawberry muffin that didn't taste good at all. Then in the yard, she saw herself covered in dirt late at night. So why didn't she see herself falling in the hole or in the forest. Oh yea, that's right, she was the worst seer ever! Mel was sure she had to be the worst Seer ever!
"I'd love to keep going... The sooner we're out of here the sooner I can shower and get to sleep" She groaned, rubbing her face as she started walking towards the castle again. Just no more holes, just no more lizards, nothing that would eat them. Please.

Keeping her wand at shoulder level, she walked ahead of Mel. Not out of snootiness, but rather out of precaution. She would rather have Mel help her out of a hole for the first time then have her fall into another hole. Andrea was pretty sure that she wouldn't be able to take that. "I agree." Andrea sighed, continuing on. "Uh. Should we keep going straight, do you think?"
Andrea thought of how helpful it would be to have a map of some sort that held passageways or shortcuts through Hogwarts and even the Forbidden Forest. Pondering how convenient that would be, Andrea pressed on in her and Mel's pursuit to escape the forest.

Melody watched the world around them, Andrea leading the way with her wand. Had Mel had her wand, she would be standing by her side with her wand out ready to run at the slightest sound. Melody was 12, she wasn't supposed to be the bravest person but she wasn't about to show fear again. Maybe she would end up being frightened but Mel made a vow to herself that she would try her hardest to show that she wasn't some scared little brat. Taking a deep breath, she agreed with andrea. "Yes, I would say so... lets hope nothing else feels the need to attack us, I would very much like some hot tea and to sleep in my own bed without giant bite marks in my side" She joked shakingly.
As they walked along, the stars seemed the only less threatening thing around them. The forest continued to make noise as they walked. That's when an image rushed her head and she stumbled. It was Andrea tripping over a large snake that rounded over and bit the girl. Gasping, Mel snatched the girl's arm as the snake continued to slither on without notice of them. Finally something works for me she complained in her mind before looking to the girl with the wand.
"Sometimes I wonder if someone has it out for me, Now I'm certain someone has it out for us"

Andrea kept her poker face strong, and held up her prefect ideals well. She was warned ahead of time that students looked up to them, and they had to act unafraid in front of them when in danger. Keyword: act. Andrea was picturing the warm fire and comfy couches, and realized that at this point if she fell asleep on a couch, it would be a vast improvement from wandering around a forest at night with only one wand to guide them. "Oh, yes...hot tea..." She said, trailing off. "Personally, I love cinnamon in my tea, how about you?" Andrea asked, trying to start a normal conversation that didn't have to do with their current adventure.
The rumbles and low growls of the forest around them were threatening and fearful, but Andrea kept her gaze ahead of her. Soon enough, her mind began to wander until she was pulled back by Mel. She put a hand to her mouth when she saw the snake slither past her. Turning to Mel, she nodded in thanks and waited for the snake to pass by. "I think so...I hate this place." She spat at no one in particular.

"I love a good hot cup of green tea with honey and a hint of lemon, and two spoons full of sugar... I have an addiction to sugar, candy, anything of those likes" She explained. Melody was sugar addicted, it was just far too yummy not to like sugar. Melody likes sugar ever since she could remember, the girl was always carrying around sugar or chocolate or candy with her. Except now, she wasn't sure how she had gotten into the damn forest, which was why she didn't have candy. Candy was a form of nicoteen addiction, something she ate when she was bored, emotional, and stressed to calm down.
"The sooner we're free of this place, the sooner I will treat you to cinnamon tea, maybe we can sneak into the kitchen and get a good snack too... I wonder if they have some monkey bread, muggle style, I could go for something sweat, hot and sticky the wreck i'm in right now"
