Mel wasn't one for sleep walking or doing anythign that could get her expelled, so when she woke from a small nap and found herself in the Forbidden Forest she was a little bit surprized. No one was supposed to be out there, not a soul was supposed to even think about it lest one have detention, so why exactly Melody was in the forest was a mystery but she wasn't about to be busted. If she was found in the forest, who knew what would happen to her but she didn't want to find out. Picking herself up from the dirt, she dusted the dirt and twigs from her shorts and dug her heels of her sneakers into the ground a bit to test how torn she was. Nothing seemed too bruised up, infact everything seemed fine, her body was clean of everything but dirt and grime. Fixing the hair band in her hair, she got the twigs and greens from her blond locks, her feet traveling in a directions. Who knew if she was actually heading out or deeper, but it was always best not to stay in one spot. The sound of dead leaves and wet dirt sounded under her sneakers as she looked around in the dead of night, searching for her wand among her clothing items. How stupid of of her, she began to feel panic going through her veins as she realized painfully... her wand was not there. However she had gotten into the woods, she did not bring her wand and now she stopped dead in her tracks, finding herself wandless and hearing the scampering of things around her. Mel felt doomed, gulping down, she slowly put her back to a tree and looked to the sky. Where was she and where was the castle? outfit

Andrea was in a mood for a walk. After a long torturous session of homework, Andrea believed she deserved a nice break. Humming to herself, she hopped over a few weeds for the sake of hopping over something. It felt good to stretch her legs.
In all honesty, Andrea didn't know what she was doing in the Forbidden Forest, but she felt like walking in the forest so she might as well take off in whatever direction she felt like. That's what Johnny taught her, anyway. Always go where your feet lead you. You never know where you're going to end up...but you were probably going to end up there anyway. Was something he would always tell her in his letters. Wherever he was in Ireland, he was content. Which meant Andrea was content.
In her revere, Andrea ended up running into another person. She gave a piercing scream and fell on her bottom. The shock of falling to the ground jolted her head and she immediately put her hand on her forehead. Blinking, Andrea looked to the body she ran into. "Sorry, I'm so sorry." Andrea said, standing up and brushing the dirt off her crimson robes.

"Holy Wizards!" Melody screamed, feeling someone bump into her. Not just bump, pretty much smash into her, being a small girl at the time. Stumbling forward, Mel put her hands onto a tree to steady herself as she panted. Her heart was racing and she could feel it near vibrating against her rib cage. Deep breath, taking in as much air as she could, Mel put her hand from the tree to her hair where she ran her fingers through her hair. Okay, so what or who hit her, looking to the ground for air, she then turned to the girl who was on the ground. "Wha... huh?" Mel shook her head, trying to get the fuzziness of confusion out of her head before cocking her blond brows at the girl. Melody's hair was blond, for now, but soon it would turn firey red like her mothers and was enjoying her blond days as they were. But being thrown against a tree and waking up in the woods was not a day she would want to enjoy. "It's... It's fine, who are you?" Mel asked putting her hands on her hips as her heart beat began to slow down. outfit

Andrea shook her hair out, feeling a stick fall out of her hair and hit the ground. The darkness was nearly unbearable to Andrea, so she whipped her wand out and whispered a simple "Lumos." [/i] Smiling, Andrea introduced herself. "Andrea Fredrikson. And you are?" She asked, using her free hand to put some of her hair behind her ear. Shifting her weight to her other side, Andrea folded her arms across her chest, the wand still shining light on the two girls stuck in the Forbidden Forest. [/blockquote]

Melody blinked, shaking the sudden blindness she got from the girl suddenly turning on the light. Getting her bright seafoam eyes adjusted to the light before seeing the girl perfectly. She was older than Mel, that was for sure, but Mel didn't exactly know who she was. Mel was sure the girl wasn't a Slytherin, for she would have known her, no the girl seemed to be another house, but she didn't know which one. Wiping off her clothings a bit more, she took a deep breath and tried to relax for she wasn't the one with the wand. How dumb could she have been? "Melody Marks... Mel"She introduced before putting her hand out with a sigh, "Here, get yourself up off the ground, no need to ruin your robes" She whispered, lending her hand to the girl if she wanted it. Not sure what else to say, Mel kept quiet for both of them being students, they shouldn't be in the forest but it was also far too late for them to be outside either and sure would have massive trouble coming if they got caught. Fixing the head band upon her head, Mel tried not to look uncomfortable with the girl but she was. Mel wasn't much of a branching out person at the time. Outfit

Andrea was surprised at the young girl who she was face to face too, expecting a much older person. She allowed herself to be helped up before coughing and saying in an undertone: "Look, we're gonna have to get out of the forest before someone notices we're gone. And if anyone asks, we were sitting at the beginning of the forest." Andrea honestly felt horrible for being in the forest after being instated as a Prefect, but in all honesty she sometimes forgot. Dumb, yes, but Andrea wasn't the kind of person to remember useful things like that. Dumb. She thought to herself.
"Shall we go?" Andrea asked, gesturing towards the general direction she came from.

The girl helped herself up with Mel's hand, and when she let go, Mel put it to her sides and straightened out her shirt, and dusting off her shorts, trying to fill her own silence for a moment before the girl spoke. Melody eyed her before nodding. "Probably the best idea, don't worry, if we're lucky, No on will ask" She spoke, looking to the girl atleast a foot taller than Mel was. Smiling weakly, she nodded to the girl and followed the way in the direction she had pointed. "How did you get way out here anyway?" Melody asked, looking to Andrea then to the dark trees around her. The forest was very foreboding and scary a bit. But it was the gurgling and the small howls in the background that were truly scary and Mel kept her pose. She was afraid of what could kill her out there but she didn't let it get in the way of being strong. Mel needed to be strong if she was going to prove herself to her parents, and most of all her grandmother. Outfit

Andrea smiled at the girl, who now noticed the height difference between the herself and the girl and realized that Mel was probably younger than she was. Nonplussed she continued on her way, keeping her wand up at chest height. It was high enough that the two could see, but low enough that they wouldn't be noticed. " I was taking a walk- breaking from studying and I guess I walked to far...and yourself?" Andrea asked, continuing walking.
In all honesty, the noises of the forest did bother her. She was a Hufflepuff, and as far as she knew there was no "bravery" in the description of her house. I'm sure it's implied... [/b] She thought slyly. However, she quickly thought to herself Shut up and concentrate at the task at hand. You've got a kid right next to you and you're in a forest filled with all sorts of scary things...keep walking...actually...could you maybe pick up the pace? Andrea's thoughts were beginning to bother her, so she tuned out her own thought process and focused at the task at hand- getting Mel and herself out of the forest. [/blockquote]

(Sorry for the wait, was a Councillor for a kids camp! ) Melody looked to her feet for a bit, trying to figure out how to explain she had just fallen asleep and appeared in the forest, but she knew exactly why she was in the forest and just didn't want to think about it till now. Her mother and Melody had a huge fight before the school year, saying that Melody wasn't the way she wanted her. Saying Mel wasn't strong enough for them, saying she was soft and let people get her heart easier than she should That if she ever wanted to become more powerful than them that she had to become more hard. So Mel had that nightmare again while she had been napping, of trying to show her power to her parents and dying in the forest. "I was in a daze and didn't wake up till I came to the forest" Mel answered, not wanting to explain it all to Andrea. A giant howl rang out behind her and shivers ran down the girl's back, "Maybe we should pick up the pace, a bit" She whispered, slowly feeling her feet walk a little faster, her heart pump a bit louder in her ears. Melody didn't want to get eaten, but she also didn't want to be a fear-full little candy-addicted brat like her mother suggested. But Mel didn't have her wand, and Mel wasn't good at physical activity due to her Anemia. Outfit

[[OOC: Haha, it's ok! I understand! Little kids can be tiring. =P]]
Andrea scanned around and looked behind her. So far, nothing had found them. She quickened her pace and felt her stomach clench and unclench. The nausea she had (out of nerves) spiked whenever she heard something out of the ordinary. Andrea prayed that her stomach would hold up until they got out of the forest. She nodded at Mel's explanation on how she ended up in the forest. "It happens, I guess." Andrea said, scanning around once again. "So, how old are you?" she asked, knowing the only way she would keep her cool was if Andrea kept the conversation going.
After hearing the howl, Andrea picked up her speed a bit more. Sooner or later, she reflected, She and Mel would be running for their lives. Andrea was pretty sure she didn't like this adventurous stuff. She'd leave it to the pros like Gryffindor. Giving a nervous laugh, she voiced her agreement to picking up the pace. "So, I'm turned off to the idea of ever coming back to the Forest. Ever." Andrea said, trying to control the shaking in her voice.

"I'm twelve" She answered. Melody wasn't afraid or disgraced by her age, why should she be. Being 12 was fine, while alot of people thought it was horrid. She was still young, got away with plenty of things because she was young, and people tended to give her free candy still because of her cuteness. Not that Melody thought she was all that cute herself, but others saw skinny blond with green eyes and a great puppy dog look and melted. Well, everyone but her folks. "How about you?" Mel asked, hoping to help the girl forget they were close to being eaten if they didn't get from the forest faster.
"Um, agreed" Melody nodded, feeling her feet racing against the ground. That's when her feet hit something that didn't hit back. The ground wasn't solid and suddenly it was gone. Falling down the dark, cold, dew covered dirt down to the bottom where her knees hit, she couldn't see a thing at the bottom and when she looked up, a shadow passed over the small light that was there. "Andrea.... Andrea where are you?"

Andrea wasn't very surprised at Mel's age. She knew that Mel was young, but she didn't know how young. "Sixteen..." Andrea said simply. She had two more years of schooling and then she would be of age. Maybe live with her brother somewhere in the countryside. Thoughts like these occupied her mind until she realized she was walking alone.
"Andrea...Andrea where are you? [/i] Andrea's stomach turned over again as she whipped around and looked around her. Mel was no where to be found. Oh no. No no no! She thought wildly, stretching her wand arm out and moving it from one side to the other in search of the girl. "Mel?" She called, hoping to hear the voice again. "Mel, can you hear me?" Please don't let anything bad happen to her...I'll die if I have to...just don't let her die or get harmed... She thought frantically. [/blockquote]

"Andrea! I'm down here...." Mel called, hearing Andrea from the top of the large hole. Melody slowly slid to her feet, batting her sneakers about to test the complete bottom. She had been holding herself onto a cliff edge on the side of the hole, not wanting to see if the bottom gave in. But it was firm, and wet. There was 2 inch layer of water and a firm, flat, hard bottom. Not wanting to find out what could be in the pitch black water where she couldn't see, she kept herself on the small dirt cliff down at the bottom of the hole.
Oh great, how in the world did Melody get out of this one, how does one get out of a giant hole. Wandless, and not even sure how to climb back up, she sat there in panic for a moment. So what now? Taking deep breaths, she looked up to the top of the hole where her heart stopped. Something, or somethings were clambering up to the very top where there was light. Towards the light Andrea was giving up. "ANDREA LOOK OUT!" Mel screamed before covering her mouth when she saw one of the lizard looking shadows turn around and tilt it's head toward her. It had large yellow eyes and looked right at her. "Oh my..." She whimpered, turning around on her small dirt cliff and digging her hands into the dirt.

Andrea looked down and gave a small gasp. Right where she was about to step there was a gigantic hole in the ground. Well that's a problem. She thought before looking around. "Don't worry...I'll get you out of there!" Andrea cried, walking around the hole for a good minute before stopping where she began.
She heard her name cried out and looked down only to look up again. Crap. Andrea thought, her breath becoming ragged and shallow. She opened her eyes and looked down to see a lizard making it's way toward her. She shrieked and kicked at it. "Nox!" She cried. The light went out and everything was bathed in darkness. Giving a whimper Andrea saw the yellow eyes staring at her for a long time. "Bad lizard! Bad! I...uhm... Stupefy! " She shrieked, watching the yellow lights go as suddenly as if someone had blown out a candle. Hearing a thud, Andrea felt a little better. "Mel? You alright? She asked.

"Okay..." Mel's voice wavered as she continued to dig her hands into the wall and attempt to climb herself out of the hole. The dirt was wet and crumbling beneath her hands and it wasn't easily letting her up but slowly, inching, she got up from the cliff and her sneakers were beginning to become soaked. Just get out of the hole, just get out of the hole, just get out of this dumb hole! She thought to herself, near ready to cry but she had to be strong.
That's when the sound of the lizard thing hitting the bottom jump started her need to get out of the hole. Crawling a bit more, she finally looked up to see where she was at the moment to see the second damn lizard looking her in the eyes. Screamed, she swung one fist up and felt it hit a very slimy reptile skin as the yellow eyes disappeared and another thud sounded. "Um... I'd feel better if I had my wand!" She answered Andrea.
