Roxanna ran up the steps to the Owlery letter in her hand. Then she tripped. "Damn it" she exclaimed looking around, she looked down and sighed her knee length dress and some big tears in it "Great!" her mother would kill her, she ripped so many of her nice dresses. She sighed and stood up. Then bit her lip in pain, she had sprained or twisted or maybe even broken her ankle and she could not walk very well. She hoped up the stairs to the Owlery door gave her letter to an owl, still putting her weight on the uninjured leg and then sat down.
How she would get down the steps was beyond her, she could not walk nor could she apparate, she didnt know how to plus no one could in Hogwarts. She sighed and looked around, she couldnt see anyone close she just leaned against the wall, glad she had her robe on to keep her warm. She pursed her lips and stared to sing gently to herself. She looked around and smiled to herself.
Roxy sighed and wondered how long it would take for the letter she had sent to be replied to, knowing her parents. She gasped as she accidently moved her leg, the hurt one and then sighed deeply.

Salazar had been trumping around the dungeons, not really sure what he wanted to do or what would entertain him. Everything at this moment was infuriating him. Maybe he could just go out into the cold, brisk air and he would feel less heat in his blood. The Slytherin man wasn't one to be calm headed much, he did have a tendancy to blow up on people when they irritated him But this heat, this anger just boiling, simmering was ridiculous. He was just getting restless being in the dungeon far too long.
Stalking up from the dungeons, he lanked through the yard, trying to find something other than people to focus on. The air was calming him plenty, so he began to trample up the stairs to the owlry. The higher he went the colder things went against his robes. Tightening the black around his chest, he let out a puff and looked out into the air, eyeing the owls and birds flying this way and that. One had just recently left, which meant someone was in the owlry. If he didn't hear whines and sighes from the tower he would have left but he had told himself that if someone needed his help he would give it. Or, atleast when he felt calm, which was how he felt at the moment. All the anger had left.
Walking into the owlry, he looked down to a girl up in the tower. She looked cold and in pain and without words, he walked over to her and eyed her. A student, and by the robes, he could tell she was a gryffindor. Oh if he left her up there alone to possibly freeze to death because she couldn't move, or whatever the dumb child had done to herself, Malena would have his hide. Not mentioning how Gryffindor would react for letting one of his precious students to hurt themselves more. Sighing, he didn't want to hit any problems and ripped his robes from his arms and handed them over to her. "Before you freeze your arse off, now... what seems to be your problem, child?"

Roxanna watched as the professor looked at her, then looked down, she looked up as he held out his robe for her and managed to stutter a thanks, to Professor Slytherin. She tugged the robes that were obviously too big for her, over her arms. Even with her Gryffindor robes on she had still been cold. She quickly answered his question "Uh, I tripped on the stairs and have hurt my ankle" she looked at him "Wont you be cold?" she asked softly. She ran her hand through her hair. She looked at the floor, then back to him.
She tentatively felt her ankle, before hissing in pain. "Shi-" she cut herself off, seeing as there was a teacher standing in front of her, she probably shouldn't swear. She hung her head down and her hair fell into her face, like a veil or a curtain. Sighing she stretched her arms out in front of her. then let them drop. She tried to pick herself up but failed only getting a inch or so of the ground, before dropping back. Okay, getting off the ground with an injured ankle, is harder than it looks she thought.
Roxy looked up at the Professor, "Could you help me up?" she asked embarrassed. She gave a small sheepish and bashful smile. She blinked then grabbed the ribbon that she left tied round her wrist and tied her hair back with it, in a messy bun. She had stupidly left her wand by her bed, why she hadn't taken it was beyond her, it probably would have proved helpful if she knew a healing spell or something.

"Don't worry about me Child," He growled, watching her for a second. She had put on his Robes, and sure it was cold, but he was man enough to deal with it. Plus, he was still warm from walking up all those stairs. Salazar would be fine and she didn't need to worry if he was cold, but if she was getting down. Salazar was still debating if he should leave the child and take the consequences from the other founders, or just bite the bullet and take her down himself. Slytherin knew for sure she would never make it down all those ridiculous stairs if he didn't take her now. Damn his ones good bone in his body.
Cocking a brow at her almost curse. Good child, atleast Gryffindor was teaching them to use their manners around elders. Not that Salazar was that much older, he didn't like to think that his age was all that old. Looking around the owlry quickly, he made sure he wasn't being pranked before looking to the girl. Bending down, he put his hands underneath her elbows, and gently lifted her up, making sure not to let her fall back down. "If you keep attempting like that, you'll break something else before you get up" He stated.
"Either you don't have your wand or don't know a spell to heal it, so lean against the wall and let me see it" He sighed and pulled his wand from his pocket. Hoepfully it wasn't all that bad and he could fix it right there.

Roxanna thanked him again, and gave a small smile. She sighed and felt the ribbon tied in her hair loosening, she gave it a quick tug and then tied a double knot in it. She knew that if he didn't help her - which at that moment seemed like a pretty big possibility - she would not make it down the stairs, well not without falling and breaking a bone, maybe another one. She wasnt sure what her injury was but it hurt - alot.
She sheepishly smiled at his eyebrow raising. She didn't usually swear. Especially not infront of a teacher, she was glad that she had cut herself off, otherwise she would have been in big trouble considering, one, she was a halfblood, and two, shes a Gryffindor. She watched intently as he bent down and then grapped her elbows, at this point she smiled - he was helping her up. Nodding, she looked around embarassed. Trying to get up had not been her best move.
Now, Roxanna blushed, "I left my wand in the dorms and even if I had it I don't know any healing spells, I could probably use knowing a few though" she leant against the wall and hoped that she had not broken it, she hated breaking bones. She sighed and rubbed her temples, massaging them gently,

Lesuth was nearly out of breath by the time he had made his way to the Owlery. He carried with him a folded parchment, it was to his parents, thanking them for another attempt to spoil his chances at a career. The two devils had been sending owls to every wizard they knew, encouraging them not to trust young Lesuth. They had failed to realize that he was going to wizards they did not know for work, however.
Lesuth covered the staircase in a few long strides. He called, "Stung!" To his owl. Then he reached the door to the owlery quickly and opened it. In his haste, he did not hear the two already inside. And so, he got an awful shock seeing Professor Slytherin so close to a female student. Without thoroughly thinking out the situation, Lesuth approached the two, breathing heavily from his earlier jog. He spoke suspiciously almost accusingly, "Professor. . ."
Lesuth could not yet tell that Roxanna was injured. He looked to her, searching for some hint of a certain expression that might explain Slytherin holding her with a wand in his hand. Lesuth had a hand in the pocket of his black robe, ready to pull his own wand from it if Slytherin made any aggressive actions.

Wand out and inspecting her ankle, Salazar could see it wasn't broken, not even fractured. But it was swelling, he could see that. She had twisted it, and twisted it good. This girl was going to be hating herself for a good couple of days, possibly a week. Letting out a sigh, he pulled out a vile from his pocket and uncorked it. "This may sting, you pulled and strained it good, so you'll have to stay in bed for the next day and I'll get the healer to bring you a pair of crutches." He Spoke.
That was when another boy joined them, and Slytherin was already up to his eye-sockets in frustration with one Gryffindor. He did not need to see another one, and this one seemed to have one thing on his mind. Salazar knew that look and couldn't help but roll his eyes. At 30, what child would think that of him. Okay, so he was a playboy with women, but they were women his age, Teenage girls were way far from any spectrum of his liking. Could this boy be that daft.
"Boy, Put the damn Wand down, the girl fell on the stairs" He snarled, turning back to Roxanne and kneeling back down to her ankle. "Gryffindor's, always jumping to damn conclusions, He must be so bloody proud of his student population!" Slytherin add, dabbing his finger in the liquid and touching it to her ankle. It was absorbing quickly, that was a good sign.

Sighing in relief, that her ankle was not broken, she smiled. "Crutches" she murmured, well that was certainly going to make getting around difficult. Especially the flipping stairs. She grumbled under her breath. She watched and furrowed her eyebrows at the vial, "Whats that?" she asked, curiously. Twisted, I twisted my ankle, I am such a klutz she thought mentally hitting herself. She thought about it, in bed for the next day, then crutches, well that was not too bad, she would survive, she was glad it wasn't broken but was annoyed for tripping and falling in the first place.
She smiled as the Gryffindor, in the year above her, arrived. She tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. Then looked between the two. "Uh" she tried to think of something to say but couldn't think of much really. She rubbed the back of her neck, she had no clue what to do, or say. "Hey..." she started, still looking at the Gryffindor. She thanked the Professor again, for the help. The help she knew he normally wouldn't give.
Roxanna smiled sheepishly "I did trip up and fall on the stairs, I'm kind of a klutz and I always trip up, I've broken bones before and... I'm going to stop talking" she said, starting to ramble on, and talk quite quickly. She blushed a light pink color. She hissed as he dabbed on the liquid, he was right... It did sting. She sighed once more, and leant her head against the wall. "Uh, how am I getting down the steps?" she looked down the staircase.

Lesuth stared wide-eyed at the Professor. He hadn't expected such an outburst. He let go of the wand and pulled his hand from his pocket without it. Quite shocked, Professor Slytherin knew what he was thinking. It didn't occur to the Gryffindor boy, that he hadn't been as subtle as he had wanted to be. "I don't know what to say." He noticed Roxanna's glance and it revealed his own jumpiness. "I apologize, sir." He whispered it. Hoping they hadn't heard the apology.
Lesuth's snowy owl flew to perch on his shoulder, he pecked the foolish Gryffindor boy on the forehead and extended its claw. Lesuth's shoulders sagged slightly as his embarrassment took over from his shock. He quickly tied the message to his parents and spoke softly to the bird about the destination of the mail, not wanting to disturb Mister Slytherin further.
As the bird flew off into the horizon, however, Lesuth turned to Slytherin and Roxanna again. He shook his head shamefully and asked in an appeasing tone, "Is there anything I could do to help?" His eyes darted from Slytherin to Roxanna's faces desperately as he awaited a response. He wanted to help, but through his shame half-hoped they would deny his offer for assistance so he could leave them.

Salazar just merely rolled his eyes at the boys apology, he didn't have time to play games with these students, and besides he had found out what he needed from the two aswell. The boy, unfortunately was pureblooded, he could read the boy's mind and memory, he was purblood. But the girl, was half-blood, and incredibly likely to hurt herself more and more. He would have to add her to the list of half-bloods and muggle-borns. First the muggle-borns had to go, then the half-blood, then the blood traitors would be an option. It all depended on if they angered him or not.
Salazar wasn't a nice guy, never thought of himself as a nice guy, so it always surprized him when he did nice things. Alot of them were to keep him in good graces of the other founders until he could take over! Slytherin wasn't going to be this nice forever, he hoped they would realize this, and would soon be shaking in fear! "You could help me get Miss Kendall down to ground level where you will escort her to the hospital wing!" He growled, looking to the boy then to the girl. "I'm going to pick you up now, did you bring anything else up here?"
(sorry guys for the late response, I kept getting so darn busy!)

Roxanna smiled at the Gryffindor boy, who after looking at for a while realised that he was in the year above her and the head boy, Lesuth. She covered her mouth quickly as she started to yawn. Blinking she looked at the stairs again, dreading them. She pushed herself off the wall, keeping one hand on the wall to balance her. She rolled her shoulders a few times, seeing as they were going stiff. She sighed gently, and very softly. She wanted to get to the hospital wing and rest, she didn't want to stand not really, but she wouldn't say anything, she wasn't really the type of person to complain, a lot.
She watched the owl, it was quite a pretty owl. She smiled then pulled at the ribbon tugging it out. She stretched her arms out in front of her totally forgetting that she had been using the wall for support. She quickly placed one hand back. So that she wouldn't fall over, that wouldn't help at all. She looked at Professor Slytherin. Running her hand through her hair she sighed. She pushed the strands of hair behind her shoulders, keeping them out of the way.
"Okay" she said then answered his question, "Nope, just a letter I've already sent off" she said giving a small smile. She'd, whether luckily or unluckily, left everything back in the girls dorms in the Gryffindor common room. Pushing back yet another fallen strand of hair, she wondered if she should tie it back up. She ran her hand through her hair, messing it up a little. She waited for him to pick her up and for Lesuth to help carry her down the stairs, why had she gone a tripped, she didn't like to bother people, yet she always tripped up, meaning she usually needed help.

Lesuth was slightly irritated with Slytherin's growling. If half of the stories Lesuth had heard about the man were true, then Lesuth hadn't been too bold in his earlier assumption. Regardless, he was a Professor and Lesuth wasn't keen on losing his Head Boy badge. He replied tiredly, a light growl to answer the Slytherin Head of House's own growl. "Of course, sir. You do not even have to ask that much of me."
Lesuth drew a short breath before they had began their descent down the owlery steps. He seemed troubled beyond reason about something Roxanna had said. "You left your wand too right? I would have thought a prefect could heal herself decently enough." Lesuth knew almost everyone, even if they weren't too familiar with him. As a prefect in his fifth year, Lesuth had made it his duty to know every student's name and rank. "We can't really have that. Perhaps I could teach you a thing or two. Mind you, I'm not much of a healer myself. But I can get by well enough. And I know someone who is quite efficient at healing. She is a bit of a strange lady, though she will do most anything for me. For some reason. . ." Lesuth smiled. He liked having alot of friendly people, even if they were a bit odd. The lady he was talking about was very prejudiced. But Lesuth had never really thought much trouble of it before.

"Good then" He scooped the girl up in his arms quickly. Many rumors surrounded Salazar. Many being that he was ruthless and heartless. That was obvious by the way many people didn't think he was good enough to teach their snot nosed children. But there were those who threw their children at him, begging him to take them in and just teach them whatever he could. So it was a half-and-half decision but he was one of the greatest wizards alive, so it was only fair that he got a spot as one of the founders. Plus, in order to fix the world he knew he wanted to, he would have to start with the young. The biggest rumor, however, had to be that he was a man-whore.
As Sad as it was that the rumor surrounded him, but it was true. Salazar could have any woman he wanted, and often had flings or short relationships that were mostly for sex. However, for that boy to suggest that he was there to have his way with a student was far too bold! Salazar, one, didn't like little girls, too, especially not gryffindor girls, mud-bloods, or girls that feared him. Putting all that behind him, he trudged towards the stairs, making sure to look back to Lesuth to make sure he was keeping up. Salazar was determined to get the girl down the stairs and into the dumb boys care so Salazar could go about his business and be left alone by those dumb gryffindors. Godric would have an ear full about what he was telling his students about the Parselmouthed teacher.
Salazar kept footing on the cold steps as he looked over his shoulder at the head boy. "You? Are going to help her? Girl, If I were you I would ignore his attempts and find your head of house instead. Atleast Gryffindor knows how to protect someone, this boy is still un-touched by the knowledge of experience!" Salazar rolled his eyes.

Roxanna blinked and looked confused at the growling. She hung on as the Professor picked her up. One thing that really got her was being off the ground. "Uh, yes I did leave my wand behind" she said embarrassed, a blush appearing on he cheeks, of course she should have been able to heal herself. "Uh, I guess I never really thought to look up any healing spells, and if I have I am pretty forgetful so..." she smiled gently and sweetly. "Maybe you could teach me a few basic spells to start off with?" she asked rather than stated "Then maybe I could learn a bit more from this lady, and actually be able to heal myself for once" she sighed and flicked her hair back off her face. Roxanna wouldn't mind at all if the woman was a little or even very odd, she liked to meet people and friends were always great.
"His attempt?" she asked "To help?" she thought that he was being helpful enough. Roxanna looked around. At home her mother got all the attention being a full veela, Roxanna was glad that she was only half veela it meant she had a little bit more control and less 'power' than her mother. It also meant she couldn't morph into a bird-like creature. But at this moment in time, she wondered if that transformation might be useful. She tried not to make it common knowledge, but wasn't sure exactly how many people knew. Roxanna had weird hair for veelas, who usually have light coloured hair. She quickly defended him "He seems to be doing a good job at helping to me!" she exclaimed. She sighed and watched the steps go by one by one.

Lesuth could tell that Slytherin was angry, although he wasn't surprised. Salazar seemed to be angry alot. And so, at first Lesuth didn't mind it. He didn't get too upset about Salazar's growling. Instead he rushed forward to help at Salazar's beck. When Salazar began to comment on Lesuth's offer, the Gryffindor boy nearly froze but recovered. Indeed, Lesuth was young and inexperienced, but he had accomplished more than anyone among Slytherin's seventh years(or atleast he thought).
Lesuth smirked at Roxanna with a mild excitement. "I would be honored to help. Professor Gryffindor thinks highly of my abilities. He's actually joked about me taking a teaching position someday a few times." Lesuth liked to boast, it was something he did. Of course, he always told the truth though. Gryffindor really did commend him on alot of his accomplishments.
But it was when Salazar brought up Gryffindor that really ruffled Lesuth's feathers. "At least? Are you insinuating that Professor Gryffindor has inferior capabilities? To who?" Lesuth's parents had wanted him on under Slytherin and so Lesuth had immediately disliked the Head Professor. On the other hand, they despised Gryffindor. And Lesuth loved him. "I would not be so bold to make such a claim myself, sir." Lesuth narrowed his eyes, but looked away from them to hide his displeasure.
Lesuth shrugged to Roxanna, "I know I'm not the best healer. But that's why I will ask Morgana to help you. She has helped me with all sorts of maladies and wounds. Her healing potions are the best around. And like I said, she will do anything for me." Lesuth was foolish enough not to see the reason Morgana Gorlois liked to help him alot. As Slytherin said, Lesuth was quite a ways away from experience.
