His prolonged silence was driving her insane. When he finally turned around and uttered those five dreadful words she felt the world crumble around her. She moved in the doorway to block his way and begged, "No. Please don't leave. I need you." When she realised that whatever she said would not make him change his mind, Helga became very angry. Tears started rolling down her cheeks and she said loudly, "Fine. Leave then. Go ahead. I don't want you here." She turned away, giving him her back, and buried her face in her hands.

Cornictacus looked at her, the way she blocked him, he was about to change his mind, until her behavior changed, hurt when she told him she didn't want him here, he just looked down, tears falling, as he walked away and went downstairs, opening the door to leave the house, he closed it to make her know he left, he soon apparated away.

After he left the room, Helga removed her hands from her face and looked around the room. She held her breath and willed him to walk back inside the room. The front door opened and closed. Helga's eyes widened and she run downstairs. Helga yanked the door open just in time to see him disapparate and shouted his name. She remained outside in the cold for some minutes before walking back inside the house. Helga felt numb and she had a sudden death wish. She could not live without Cornictacus. What if he never came back to her. Helga spotted his cloak in the living room. She picked the silky material in her hands and slowly made her way back to his bedroom. She hugged the cloak to her body and curled up onto his bed. Many tears were spilled in the following hours, until she cried herself to sleep.

Cornictacus apparated in front of his home in France, he opened the door, threw the luggage on the ground as he closed the door, he slid on the ground, looking down, crying, how was he going to do this, without Helga? Already he felt like part of him was gone, dead and all he thought about now was just die, he kept crying, his fist hitting the floor, why did he have to be this stubborn, he remained on the floor, still crying, unable to go to bed or even sleep. He didn't even realize the cloak he forgot.
End Thread.
