Rowena gave him a small sympathetic smile. "Latin is important for spells and potions." she said. She was impressed with the boy, regretting that she hadn't taken him into her house seven years earlier. But there was something else, she felt sorry for him, because she knew what it felt like to be lonely, too different from the others. He was eager to learn and managed to learn everything he wanted. But every gift had a price; people never loved those who were different or better. Rowena had do smile again. "Which creatures do you like the most?" she asked.

Sirius thought for a while as he listened calmly, he hit his chin repeatedly with his finger, which was usual when he was thinking, it might be strange but he didn't mind he just looked at her and smiled. "The Thestrals professor and for the muggle creatures I do like the Crocodiles." Sirius said with a smile, he find it odd to have a conversation with a teacher, they usually weren't the ones that would add conversation with students, well other conversations then the usual discussions about the spells they were teaching.

Rowena's eyes widened as she looked at Sirius. "Crocodiles? Now that's a... well, a bit unusual choice." she finished and took another sip of the coffee he'd brought her. "I find Thestrals quite interesting creatures, amazing, yet feared and misunderstood." Another thought came to her mind. "If you like Thestrals, that means that you can see them, right?" It made Rowena even sadder that Sirius could see them, that he had seen someone dying.

His attitude changed a bit, well his cheerful nature changed a bit as he looked away and gave a sad nod. "I couldn't control my powers when I was 8 muggles were bullying me about my hair... how I looked like a freak... I got angry and... an explosion happened... it killed them." Ever since then he blamed himself for their death, he sighed calmly. "Ever since then I just worked hard, making sure I'd control my powers and make no mistake. Muggles... are interesting I can't blame them for fearing me, I just wish there could be unity between us and them but it is impossible. Though it will remain a fools dream."

Rowena listened carefully to his story, feeling so sorry for the boy and at the same time feeling so connected to him. A brilliant, yet lonely child, who brings misfortune wherever she... he goes. "You are one of the most talented young wizards I've ever seen and you can do whatever you want, you can learn whatever you want." The way he talked about the Muggles made her realize why they'd put him in Gryffindor, it was like listening to Godric, when Sirius spoke. "I believe that we might live together with Muggles some day, but not without a lot of sacrifice and patience on both sides."

"It's hard professor, we have the good and the bad from both sides, dark wizards here, men that are lost in their own power in their side, some might accept us like the muggle students here but them....most of them will see us as a menace.. while the wizards in our side will see them as a menace." Sirius said, looking away calmly he was sure that Salazar didn't like muggleborns the way he unjustly took points off from students that were muggleborn without real reason.

"I've said it would take a lot of sacrifice and there are many of use who will never accept Muggles as their equals and many Muggles who will forever be scared of us. But we always have to hope and wish for something better, something new in order to actually succeed in our plans." Rowena knew that people like Salazar, of even Alfie, would never even try to give Muggles any chance, even less to consider them as equals.

"How long though professor, I sometimes find it Risky, I would love to protect the muggles, put more rules that we should hide certain stuff from muggles.. how many wizards died.. how many innocent muggles die because they claimed they were wizards or witches and they died.. all because of our powers, protecting them, is more important." Sirius said, showing signs of maturity, he matured from the accident and never ever blamed the muggles for bullying him, he just blamed himself for not controlling his power.

"You are really young, but yet you sound more mature than many older wizards." Rowena said with a smile. "It would be hard and risky, indeed and I am still not sure if we'd ever be able to overcome all our differences. And no matter how hard we try, we won't be able to save everyone, not even those we love." Rowena gave him a sad, yet patient look. "You will be a great wizard some day and perhaps it will be you to bring new laws and protect Muggles."

He couldn't help but smile at what she said, he hoped she was right as he kept looking at the professor. "I'm nothing compared to Godric though... professor." Sirius said, of all the founders he wanted to make Godric proud and well also most of the founders, Rowena seemed proud of him but how could he show himself to Godric, he was probably weak in his eyes.

"You're still very young, and every witch and wizard, no matter how talented of how old they are, was young once. I am sure Godric is proud to have you in his house. I believe he's impressed with your ideas and thoughts on Muggles?" Rowena asked with a wide smile. She knew that Godric valued fighting for Muggle rights and Sirius was probably one of his favorite students, because of that.

"Thank you professor, and I believe there is a Slytherin student outside your office... she seemed troubled." Sirius said, wondering why she was in front of the door, it didn't really seem like she was spying on her office, seemed more like she wanted to talk, he kept looking at the professor calmly, wondering what she would do.

"A Slytherin student?" Rowena asked with raised eyebrows. Why would a Slytherin student want to talk to her, it would be logic if she came to see Salazar. "I wonder what's wrong..." Rowena glanced at Sirius and sighed heavily, hoping that whoever that Slytherin girl was, she didn't want to talk about homework. She walked to the door and opened it.
Lily was standing in front of Rowena's door, trying to decide whether she'd talk to her about Viktor, or not. She was about to go away, to flee to Slytherin common room, when the door opened. Lily jumped back, shocked to see the teacher. Poor Rowena seemed so pale and tired, as if she'd been crying. "Professor Ravenclaw, I..." she started, not really sure how to explain herself. Rowena invited her to go inside and she obeyed, not sure what else to do. There was someone inside, a boy... whom Lily had often seen in the library, he practically lived there. "What are you doing here?" she asked with a frown.

"I think that matters not, what matters is the fact that you seem troubled." Sirius said, he was more serious now, as he could clearly see the fact that she was completely troubled by something, but he probably wasn't the person that needed to learn about this, why would she come to Rowena and not Salazar, maybe because it was probably a topic for girls, only he took out his parchment for his end of year homework, working on it calmly.

Lily just looked at him with raised eyebrows, she managed to forget about her own troubles, thanks to his weirdness. "Are you doing your homework?" she asked, almost disgusted with his strange behavior. Then she turned to Rowena, realizing that she'd probably be in trouble.
"If you tell me what you were doing in front of my office, I might decide not to tell professor Slytherin of your actions." Rowena had the feeling someone had been following her for days, and now she finally found the person responsible for that. "You are a Prefect, miss Weatherwax and that's not a Prefect behavior."
