When the students left, Rowena closed the door behind them using her wand. Then she walked towards a chair where she'd been sitting before. She sat down and turned to Godric. "Would you like something to drink?" she asked with a small smile. He had been gone for awhile and Rowena felt she needed to give him some details about the last couple of days.

"Apparently someone impersonated me.... I hope he didn't hurt you." Godric would of never hurted his friends, even if it was Salazar, he wouldn't even cast an unforgivable curse on that snake tongue, he sighed, he wish their friendship would be like before but it's not. He would defend the Muggles with his last breath if he had to. "Curious that Sirius is... don't you agree? Yes I would Rowena, I would, some tea would be appreciated."

Rowena shook her head, remembering how hard the last couple of days had been to her. It was another mistake of hers, going to meet the person disguised as Godric. She sighed before answering "Oh, I am fine, he didn't have the chance to hurt me, Salazar got there just in time." Rowena made a small movement with her wand and two cups of tea appeared in front of them. "Indeed, but he's got talent and a great mind." Rowena sighed again, lost in her thoughts "So, did they tell you anything else? About the murders of the wizards council members?"

"Indeed he does, I hope you don't hate me for taking him in my house, I rushed in to get him when I saw the three of you I ran, put the ring on his forehead so he could be recruited to Gryffindor." Godric looked at her calmly, he was happy to have Sirius in his house, eventually he looked deeply saddened by the news, he sighed calmly. "Hogwarts is in dark times Rowena, dark times indeed."

Rowena had to laugh at his words. "Of course I don't. He would have been a good Ravenclaw, but he is a true Gryffindor deep down." Godric seemed to be so sad about the news. Rowena wasn't sure how to tell him everything, but she knew he'd never call her an arrogant whore, as Salazar did. Godric was always so kind to her. "Yes and it is all my fault. I shouldn't have kept secrets from you, but I didn't have a choice. I've been such a fool, Godric." she added sadly.

"Ah my dear Rowena, we all make mistakes, even the wisest of wizards or witches, we have to learn from our mistakes or we are bound to repeat them. Everyone has secrets my dear, we and Muggles are quite alike, we evolve thanks to our mistakes, otherwise we learn nothing." Godric said, hugging his co-worker to try and comfort her, she should feel better, as he took his glass to tea and took a sip he looked at her. "Now now, tell me all that happened my dear."

Rowena sighed sadly, but managed to smile when Godric hugged her. For such a rough looking man, he could be so gentle to his friends, students and even Muggles and that was something Rowena could never quite understand, but always found it interesting. Rowena just looked at her tea, trying to figure out where to start. "I guess it all started with the wand. Alfie came to meet me and to talk about you, actually. Eventually he told me he had the Elder wand and wanted me to help him protect it. I had to swear I wouldn't tell anyone about it, especially you or Salazar. I guess I would have done anything he asked from me..." Rowena lowered her head, unable to look at Godric.
"Then there was that boy from Salazar's house, Viktor Lorrein, he came to me one night, talking about his mother and aunt being murdered, but I eventually threw him out..." Rowena didn't mention the reason why she'd thrown the boy out, hoping Godric wouldn't ask anything about it. "A couple of days later, someone cast an Imperius curse on one of my students, so that she'd kill me. Luckily, she failed." Rowena looked at Godric, waiting for him to say something.

Godric never trusted Alfie, as he listened to her, he kept hugging Rowena, patting her back to make her know everything was okay and that she was safe, he sighed calmly, the elder wand was a dangerous item, he sighed again, Rowena shouldn't of kept anything hidden, that's for sure, he eventually knew why there was an impostor it was easy to know now, they might have used a form that would be easy for Rowena to reveal information, he broke from the hug calmly, wandering around the office, looking at the wall, his hand on his beard, touching it in a different manner then Salazar, in a more, wiser manner.
"Ah my dear, love makes us do crazy things, I do not blame you, I'm sad that you kept it hidden to your friends but I can understand my dear. Yes love is a peculiar thing isn't it, even the love for the wrong kind of men or women, but it is such a powerful magic." Godric listened, he was feeling a bit sad for the student but he admitted there was something suspicious about that Viktor student, really suspicious, he didn't question her about it, he went for another sip of tea eventually spitting it all out on the floor when he heard about someone using the imperio curse.
"What, that's highly forbidden, we must find the culprit at once Rowena, what if it happens again?" Godric said worried as he looked at her, he might have a good idea on who the culprit was, what if it was that student, he shook his head, he refused to believe it.

Rowena sighed with relief, it seemed as if Godric didn't blame her, he managed to understand her, not like Salazar who only made her feel even worse. When he moved from her and started wandering around her office, Rowena picked Alfie's diary from the place it landed on the floor when she jumped to stop Salazar. "Love is indeed very powerful and perhaps we'll never be able to truly understand it. For once I trusted my heart, instead of my mind and look what it brought to me, to all of us."
She sighed sadly. "Salazar and I suspected the boy for all the crimes, but we didn't want to believe a student would be able to do something like that. That's cruel and very advanced magic. There are three people dead and we failed to stop the murderer." Rowena handed the book to Godric. There was no point in hiding it, Salazar would probably tell him everything about it, sooner or later. "Salazar found this and gave it to me. It seems I was tricked in more ways than one. Fornication is considered a sin, but what would you say to a woman who fell in love with her husband's murderer?" Rowena shook her head and looked away, again feeling too ashamed of herself to look him in the eye.

Godric listened again, fornification was considered a sin of course, he sighed calmly. "Magic is considered a sin too, to muggles we are sinful but they are sinful as well but there is good in everyone." Godric sighed calmly, not sure if he should feel sad for her dead Husband or Helena, to know that her mother loved the man who killed her father, this could worsen their mother/daughter relation, he sighed calmly.
"Alfie was a murderer, I saw him kill a family of muggles once... I was about to tell you but you seemed so infatuated by him, that I did nothing, even though I should of, didn't want to break a friend's heart. Love can be foolish at times dear Rowena, I never knew Alfie was the killer, if I knew I would of done something... your husband will be missed, always, he was a great, passionate and wise wizard."

Rowena didn't raise her head when she spoke "Some consider magic a sin, some consider it a gift. And we have to wonder if we're all just creatures of sin, both wizards and Muggles." Rowena sighed heavily, thinking of her daughter. She didn't have the courage to face her, to tell her she loved the man who had killed Helena's father. Her daughter would never forgive her that.
Rowena looked at Godric when he mentioned the Muggles Alfie had killed, it was so cruel and meaningless, she couldn't believe it; then, again, if he had been able to kill her husband, he would be able to do many cruel things. "I don't deserve such kindness..." she shook her head, Godric always tried to see only the best in her and in everyone else. "Thank you. I know you would have helped me, if you had known... you always do." she whispered and smiled. Rowena nodded her head "He was the only person who could deal with me."

"Ah my dear, deal with you? Hardly, you were wiser than he was however, you were so infatuated with your late husband, I remember that ball night when you first saw him, you asked me and Salazar questions about him, oh the way he asked you to dance and you just stood there blushing." Godric said smiling, he eventually laughed, it was rare to see Rowena in a condition like that, he remembered well, how she tried to say something but she was just so infatuated that he remembered her being unable to talk well until she got used to him. He sighed calmly. "Ah he was such a good friend, sad not to have him here, Sirius sometimes reminds me of him you know, great wisdom and yet strange behaviors, wanting to protect everyone and the muggles." Godric said, smiling, both were muggle protectors, he looked at Rowena finally getting out of his thinking state. "Well make mistakes my dear, we're so alike, us and the muggles."

Rowena had to laugh together with Godric. "That's not true, I didn't blush and I was perfectly capable of talking!" she added with a small pout. She also remembered that night when she first saw her husband, when he stood next to her she couldn't move, talk or even breathe. "Was I really so funny?" she asked eventually, giggling as if she was that young girl again. "We were so young and foolish..."
Rowena shrugged and looked back at Godric. "Sirius?" she asked and eventually started laughing again "Well, I couldn't quite say he reminds me of my husband, he actually reminds me of myself in a way. He's a strange child." Rowena seemed lost in her thoughts for some time. "My husband made a mistake, he should have thrown the bloody wand into a river! Then none of this would have happened!" Rowena shook her head. "I wish he were here. I really miss him Godric. I've been so lonely..."

Godric just laughed in unison, as he nodded to her question, thinking of those times made him feel so younger, he looked away for a while then back at Rowena, understanding her sadness. "Your husband was a just individual my dear, he would of taken the wand and used it for good to clear it's name, sure a foolish idea, but the greatest wizards, are the biggest fools, he was powerful just like you were, perhaps less, but he had a proud heart, just, wanting to protect muggles, he could of died for them you know. He laughed a bit at the mention of Sirius, it's true her husband was quite normal and had no weirdness around him, he sighed calmly, sometimes feeling sad for Sirius.
"Can you imagine, that Sirius gave me all his homework finished even though it's supposed to be given two months later.. he is already working on his end of the year homework, I feel sad for him, no friends for seven long years, alone with those books."

"Proud stubborn fool" Rowena shook her head. "He knew he couldn't handle it himself, so why didn't he tell me? He used to tell me everything but then he just became mysterious. That's probably when he got the wand." Rowena was still lost in her thoughts, but then she started to laugh again. Her husband wasn't weird at all and she had to say he was a lot better looking than Sirius. "He gave me all of his homework for Charms when he came to my office earlier tonight. And he just sat there on the floor, trying to finish it. I was so shocked I couldn't even say anything... Yes, I feel sorry for him, too, the only things he knows how to do is to study."
