Rowena sat back and lowered her glass. She found herself leering at Alfie, so she quickly looked away. She was pretty sure that he could see how much she liked him and he seemed to be quite fond of her too. Alfie didn't seem to enjoy his drink as much as she did, but he was too polite to tell her. "Yes. You should come here more often, so that we can enjoy together... the drink and... everything..." Rowena sighed when she realized how stupid she must have sounded. "I'm sorry." She said, rubbing her temples and feeling annoyed with herself.
Rowena picked up her fork and took a small piece of her meal, chewing it slowly as she looked at Alfie again. For some reason she didn't feel like eating, so she took another sip of her drink. "That's interesting." she said with a smile. Rowena shivered when he put his arm on her shoulder; Alfie had a strange effect on her. Rowena laughed and finally put her glass down. "You're probably right, I should eat something..." she said slowly and moved closer to him. Rowena didn't have a plan, she actually had no idea what she was doing. "No, but would you mind if it was?" The fact that they were only inches away from each other and the wine she'd drunk made Rowena more courageous than usual, so she leaned forward and kissed him. A couple of seconds later, she backed away, with her eyes wide opened, hoping that Alfie would say or do something.

Alfie saw that poor Rowena was no longer sober. He took her glass as she lowered it. Perhaps she really had been served superior drink. His eyes widened when he saw that she had finished it already. He shrugged and filled it with a summoning spell. He took a sip of the refilled glass. "Mmhm. Nevermind, dear. All is well." Alfie offered her glass back to her, "Care for another?" Rowena then leaned in and kissed him. Alfie nodded and stole another sip from her refilled glass. "I have to say, that was quite pleasant. Ehem, how about another?" Alfie grinned. He leaned toward Rowena but did not try to force a kiss, there would be plenty of time for those later.

Rowena was actually surprised that she'd managed to drink the entire glass. That explained her dizziness and headache. Rowena smiled when he filled her glass again. "Thank you." She said as she took her glass from Alfie's hands. She shook her head after taking another larger sip. Rowena looked at Alfie, feeling rather confused, wondering if he was referring to the drink or the kiss. When he leaned toward her, Rowena shrugged and put her glass on the table before kissing him again, this time more passionately.

Alfie tilted his head forward into Rowena's kiss. He put his hands behind her head. He retreated for a breath and let Rowena's head go. He was grinning at her. He had never planned on falling in love again. He thought he was lost in darkness for good. "You are wonderful, darling. I'm glad I ran into you today." Alfie had forgotten that he was hungry. He gazed into Rowena's eyes. He raised his hand and rubbed Rowena's cheek gently.

Rowena looked at Alfie with a large smile when he broke the kiss. "I think I couldn't agree more, my dear." Rowena gently run her fingers through his hair, returning his gaze. Then she kissed him again and moved to sit on his lap. "Thank you for carrying my books all the way from Hogsmeade." she whispered and kissed him again. "How can I thank you?" she asked, teasingly.

Alfie smiled darkly. His stomach growled in protest of what Alfie was planning to do next instead of eating but he ignored it. Alfie watched Rowena in silence, she was rather pretty. He held her wsist when she sat on him. She kissed him again, and Alfie returned her kiss. He felt safe with Rowena but knew he probably shouldn't be here. "Oh, I think you have an idea already." Alfie teased.

Rowena smiled and tilted her head to the side, trailing her lips over his cheeks and neck. “I think I have a couple of ideas.” She said under her breath, lowering her hands to his chest and slowly starting to unbutton his shirt. Rowena felt so happy and safe with Alfie, in a way she hadn’t felt for ages. It was an extraordinary sensation, as if she’d finally found something she hadn't even realized she’d been looking for. Rowena smirked at Alfie seductively, daring him to make the next move.

Alfie watched Rowena in a trance. She unbuttoned his shirt and he would smile whenever their eyes met. Alfie moved his left hand up Rowena's back and his other to her bottom. Alfie leaned forward in his seat and kissed Rowena. He stood up and lifted the woman with him. He carried her in his arms. "So, you did plan this. How should reward such a clever girl?" Alfie bent his head forward and kissed Rowena's chest gently.

Rowena carefully unbuttoned his shirt and gently placed her palms on his bare chest. Seeing Alfie smiling made Rowena happy. When he stood up and lifted her with him, Rowena hugged him tightly around the neck, returning his kiss passionately. “Oh, I think you have an idea already.” She teased, repeating his words and glanced at the door leading to her bedroom. A small moan escaped Rowena’s lips when his lips touched her skin. Rowena closed her eyes and kissed Alfie again, smiling and waiting for her reward.

Alfie followed Rowena's gaze to the door that lead to her room. He raised his head and smiled to himself. "Ah. There it is." Alfie turned to the room with Rowena tight in his arms. He stepped toward the adjoining bedroom and the door moved to let them through at Alfie's command. He carried Rowena to the bed and set her down on the edge. He put his lips to her right shoulder and kissed her several times all the way down her arm to her lovely hands. Raising her hand up as he did so. Alfie then stood up straight and discarded his shirt onto the floor next to the bed. He leaned over Rowena and kissed her mouth again.

Rowena just closed her eyes and held tightly to Alfie as he carried her to the bedroom. His tingling kisses made her giggle childishly. Rowena’s eyes followed his shirt down to the floor before she looked up at him again, grinning hungrily at the sight of his bare chest. With a couple of quick precise moves, she unbuttoned her dress and took it off, letting it slide down on the floor, next to his shirt, leaving her wearing only her purple corset. Rowena returned Alfie’s kiss as she lay on the bed, pulling him with her. She kept playing with his hair as she kissed his lips, cheeks and neck. Rowena looked at Alfie as she slid her hands down his chest and started untying his belt.

Alfie let his trousers fall to the floor. He hugged Rowena and fell onto her slowly. He rolled over onto his back, still carrying Rowena with him. He grinned up at her, their legs still hanging off the side of the bed. "I think you're getting closer to that reward." Alfie pinched Rowena's bottom and watched her expression before he took her chin in his hand and pulled her in to kiss her.

Rowena smiled as she moved to a more comfortable position, sitting on top of him and lifting her legs on the bed. "I've been a good girl, I think I deserve it." When he pinched her, Rowena winced and her eyes widened in surprise. She let Alfie pull her down and returned the kiss, before shifting their position again, so that she was on her back with Alfie on top of her. Rowena looked him straight in the eye, unwilling to wait any longer.

Alfie grinned and chuckled at Rowena. He let himself fall on top of her and kissed her deeply. Alfie gripped the sheets on the bed in one hand and his mind faded into an ecstacy.
When they had finished, they lay next to eachother on the bed. Alfie breathing was light but plainly heard. He was holding Rowena with one arm. "You were wonderful tonight." Alfie spoke with a brilliant smile. He hadn't been with any women since his deceased wife. It was strange to love again. Though he still enjoyed it fully.

Rowena just closed her eyes and returned the kiss, unable to think clearly anymore. It kept snowing outside, but it just didn't matter anymore.
Rowena couldn't believe how happy she was. She was lying on the bed next to Alfie, with her head on his shoulder, her fingers playfully making small circles on his chest. Rowena just chuckled at his words. "You know, I think I could easily get used to your rewards." she whispered, kissing him gently. Rowena hadn't been with any men since her husband's death and the way Alfie made her feel was strange and confusing. The desperate hunger and infatuation by the man were gone, leaving a much stronger feeling, that could more accurately be referred to as love. "Alphard... Alfie... don't leave. Stay here in Hogwarts with me." she suggested gently, looking up at him.
