*Let It Snow* (Alfie)

Alfie turned to Rowena and without thinking of all the plans and death-sealed alliances he'd made in his grieving he replied confidently, "I will stay by you forever, Dear. Do not worry yourself about that." He had never felt as elated as he did now. He could not reason deceptively. He could not formulate even an innocent plot as he lay beside Rowena. She rejuvenated him in a way no other form of magic could. "You mustn't worry. I will fix any problem."

Alfie pulled the sheets around him tightly. Then turned to place both arms around Rowena. She was warm and so he grinned at her with delight. He made plans to send an owl proclaiming his resignation as a Hogwarts Governor tomorrow. Now he wanted to rest.

[Rowena Ravenclaw]

Rowena smiled when Alfie turned to her and their eyes met. Reassured with his confident reply, she cuddled against him under the sheets. "I'm not worried about anything when I am with you, darling." she whispered, closing her eyes. Rowena hadn't felt like this for ages, so safe and happy. She knew that Alfie wouldn't let anything happen to her, as if he was the strongest shield charm, protecting her from the rest of the world. "I know you will, my dear, I know you will."

Rowena kept smiling as she opened her eyes to look at him again. She wasn't sleepy or tired, she actually felt that she could spend the rest couple of hours before dawn talking to him, but Alfie seemed tired. They would have enough time to talk later. "Good night." she finally said and closed her eyes.
