Cornictacus smiled, letting her explore the insides,, the place was clean, almost shining, it was also a big place, Cornic went to bake his famous bread, letting Helga contemplate the place. "Sadly I'll be closing it soon, I have no real choice for this, some wizards are angry that I'm feeding Muggles and poor people freely." Cornic said as he focused on shaping the bread.

Helga moved next to Cornictacus and watched him closely. She was clearly impressed with his kindness and commented, "You are a good man." She leaned forwards to take a better look at his work and added, "I do not think it is fair that they are forcing you to close your shop." She paused and let out a small sigh. "I am not permitted to cook," she offered sheepishly.

Cornictacus just smiled, and sighed calmly, there would always be prejudice in life, he knew some wizards would still hate muggles even in the future, yet they were so similar, they allh had their good and bad, he sighed eventually baking his bread, using his wand though. "My place my rules my dear lady, you can cook if you wish to, no one will know."

Helga looked at Cornictacus uncertainly. She was very tempted to take him up to his offer. In the end, she simply shook her head. Helga shrugged her shoulders and said, "Thank you. But I'd rather not." She sighed and watched him wave his wand. "They always seem to know when I cook. I think they might have put a spell on me," she said naively.

"I doubt they did but you put a spell on me...with your beauty and....your eyes..... hu I mean... the bread is almost ready." He didn't understand why she gave him this sort of effect he shook his head, eventually remaining silent for a few minutes as the baking finished he just smiled, cutting the bread in small pieces and putting them on a plate. "Here have a taste, it's merveilleux with toppings."

Her eyes widened and she stared at Cornictacus. She soon smiled at him and said, "That's the nicest thing anyone has every told me." Helga leaned towards him and gently pecked his cheek as a sign of gratitude. She stared at the bread uncertainly before admitting, "I have never eaten bread. My mother believes that if I am abundant I will not find a proper handsome suitor." She paused and sighed. "I do not care much about the suitors I am introduced to. They are all the same and boring."

Cornictacus felt himself blush even more when he felt her lips on his cheek, he looked at her calmly, listening to her and just merely nodded. "Nonsense my lady, you are beautiful, no doubt a lot of guys are interested, eating bread won't do you harm." He felt relieved that she didn't like her suitors but why, he just shook his head, eventually conjuring up some glasses with butterbeer. "Are you...hum...with someone.. my lady..?"

"And you are sweet Monsieur," she said with a smile. Helga reached for the plate and picked a piece of bread. She took a small bite and chewed it slowly. When she had finally swallowed it, Helga turned to Cornictacus with a huge smile. "This is amazing," she blurted out. Helga's smile faded from her face and she shook her head. "Not yet. According to mother, I scare all the good ones away."

Cornictacus was relieved when she said she was with no one, he couldn't help having a happy expression but he shook his head calmly and hitting his forehead once to try and calm himself down, he just looked at her. "That's a shame my lady... I find it impossible that you'd make them run away, you're a sight to behold after all." Cornic wondered if he could meet her parents maybe propose himself as a suitor, he just shook his head, it would be wrong, he knew she probably wouldn't like it, sure Cornictacus was wealthy but he was just a normal wizard.

Helga continued nibbling the bread and laughed softly at his words. She leaned forwards and said, "It is not my looks that bother the suitors but my mouth." She paused and gave a small shrug before explaining, "I seem to have conventional ideas for a woman. And I am afraid I am not very submissive." She glanced around her as if to make sure that no one was listening and said in a hushed voice, "I share a dream with three others. We want to build a school for young witches and wizards." As she spoke of her dream, her eyes shone and she looked truly happy.

Cornictacus just smiled at her, listening to her, as he saw her happy, it made him happy, he believed in her dream, not sure why, was it because of his feelings for her, or just something else? He just shook his head as he looked away calmly, taking a sip from the butterbeer. "I guess you'd prefer someone powerful as a suitor.... someone like from the Gryffindor family perhaps... I have no chance for that.." Cornictacus said to himself as he looked away, not aware that he said that loud.

The piece of bread she was holding slipped from her fingers when she heard Cornictacus's last words. Helga rested her chin on her head and said with a slow smile, "Says who?" She gave a small shrug and said, "I do not wish to marry someone because of their power or wealth. I want to marry someone I love and who loves me back." She sighed and added sottovoce, "Or at least like me for who I am."

Cornictacus listened to her, she heard him didn't she? He just blushed, but he still had some hope because of what she said, he just looked at her and gave her a smile. Cornic just kept looking at her calmly, he was more confident now. "Can I... ask you out more often?" Cornic said, he eventually knew that it sounded weird so he looked away blushing once more, he didn't know what it was, he wasn't usually like this.

Helga smiled at the question but before she could reply, Cornictacus turned his face away from her. She reached for his cheek and caressed it lightly with the back of her hand. "You may," she whispered softly. She waited until he was looking back at her before adding, "Perhaps you could see my parents?"

Cornictacus felt relieved with the touch when she caressed his cheek with the back of her hand he looked at her and listened to her. He just gave her a smile, eventually unable to control himself as he kissed her lips, softly and in a way passionately, though he opened his eyes and stopped backing away slowly and looking at the floor instead of her eyes feeling ashamed. "I..I'm sorry lady Hufflepuff.. I...I shouldn't of done that. " Cornic didn't know what got into him, why didn't he control himself, why was she making him feel this way, he turned around, looking at the furnace making it seem like if he was about to bake another bread.
