Rowena's dark eyes flew from one side of the board, to the other, as she read the words written on it. Her frown became deeper with every line she read. She turned to Salazar and gave him a famous Rowena's-icy-cold-I-know-better-look. "I like the idea of making a competition and rewarding the winner with a cup, but Creaothceann is definitely not a good choice. That's barbaric!" Rowena, who was born in Scotland and spent most of her life there, knew how dangerous the sport was and how many people got killed while playing it. "Do you know that it is considered standard that only two out of twelve players survive the game? And the name of the game... the translation from Scottish Gaelic words creoth ceann would be wounded head." Then she turned to Gryffindor. "Honestly, Godric, have you lost your mind?" she asked and crossed her arms, still sitting in the armchair. "That is just too dangerous!"

Helga looked at the two male founders in shock and joined Rowena in the verbal chastising. "Have the two of you swallowed a barrel of firewhiskey? We want to entertain the students not have them killed." She gasped loudly when Rowena divulged further the purpose of the game and she shook her head in disgust. "If we really have to choose one, Swivenhodge seems the less dangerous." She walked back to the couch and sat down beside Rowena.

Salazar wasn't impressed, he knew the two of them would do this, they wouldn't understand or rather couldn't. Male players needed more action then this, he sighed at least Godric understood as he kept looking at them. "Oh really, that's the sport now, what's the entertainment and action in that? Stop worrying too much and let them play those games, we'll save them with the school nurse."
---------------------------
Godric sighed, but he admitted that for now it probably wasn't such a good idea he just looked at Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff and nodded calmly. "Alright Swivenhodge works with me."

"Oh, for Merlin's sake, Salazar, I won't let any of our students get hurt!" Rowena shouted and stood up, walking towards the center of the room. "I don't care how exciting or popular it is, it is still barbaric! Our job is to protect our students, no to kill them, and even the school nurse can't bring the back dead students. And are you going to talk to parents whose children you've murdered with your silly ideas? No, you are going to let me deal with them like you always do, for everything!" Rowena looked at Gryffindor and then at Helga. "Well it sounds like the least dangerous option." she agreed and returned to her seat next to Helga.

Helga looked shocked with Salazar's response. She shook her head and said stubbornly, "I refuse to let the students play such a dangerous sport." She nodded in agreement to Rowena's words and looked relieved when the males finally agreed on the less dangerous sport. When all four had settled back down in their seats, Helga cleared her throat and looked from one founder to the next sheepishly. It was evident that she had something else to say, but seemed reluctant to.

Salazar was a bit annoyed, it was always the bloody same thing happening around here, always a vote of 3 against 1, for a moment Slytherin's fist connected to the table, but he looked a bit silent and just gave a shy smile, but he was annoyed, so annoyed, all their votes were against him, and Godric letting the violent sport go? What was wrong with him.
--------------------------
Godric observed Rowena and Helga, he hated it when Salazar punched the table, it was so childish he just sighed and looked back at the two founders, he looked back at Helga, it seemed like she wasn't quite done yet. "Yes Helga? We are listening."

Rowena kept looking at Helga, hoping she'd soon tell them what she had on mind. It seemed that something was bothering her, something that she hadn't told even Rowena, a new problem. Salazar seemed to be annoyed with the decision they'd made, but it happened all the time. When Godric spoke, Rowena looked at him and then back at Helga. "You know you can tell us everything." she said gently, patting her friend's hand.

Helga turned a bright red. She hung her head and said softly, "I was wondering... if we might get a couple of house elves to help me in the kitchen." She patted her belly sadly and said almost bitterly, "I cannot move as fast as I used to with this new life." The baby was almost 5 months old, however, it was part of why she wanted help. The other reason was that she was unable to handle herself and her thoughts since Cornictacus had left her that week. She had not yet told anyone, and had no intention of doing so.

Slytherin listened calmly, she wanted house elves to help? Those vermin, he'd rather let them be tortured, he sighed calmly, what choice did they have though she was after all pregnant, he looked at Godric and Rowena, was he the only one not enjoying the idea?
-------------------
Godric listening, he understood the need and that would be a good idea to give the abandoned house elves a home, he nodded calmly. "I accept that idea, I know a couple of abandoned house elves I could bring."

Rowena narrowed her eyes, she knew that the house elves weren't the only thing bothering Helga. She had something else to tell them, that was obvious. However, she had to agree with Helga, it would be much easier if they had house elves in Hogwarts. "That is actually a great idea. They would be happy to serve us." She looked at Salazar, realizing what his silence meant. She wasn't surprised thought. Then she looked at Godric, not surprised with his reaction either. "You know house elves?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "My mother never wanted to have a house elf, she preferred doing all the housework herself, but I had an aunt who used to have dozens of house elves.I wonder what happened to them."

The look of disgust on Salazar's face made Helga wince. She looked at him with a puppy dog expression, her eyes begging with his. Helga knew he would be the one to offer the most resistance. She turned to Godric and smiled at him genuinely. "Thank you Monsieur Gryffindor." Helga avoided making eye contact with Rowena, her friend was very perceptive and she would immediately notice that there was something distressing her. The young founder stole a quick glance at her friend while thanking her.

Salazar thought it was a stupid idea, but he wouldn't have a say on the matter, after all he could understand why she would need House elves to do the chores, as long as she doesn't treat them kindly, they are just servants after all, he fumed a bit before looking back at them, wondering if they had any other matters to discuss or if this was all.
---------------------
Godric just nodded his head as a way of saying that she is welcome, he summoned his owl, just by a clap of his hand, as he wrote a letter, he then sent him out, this letter was intended for the house elves, they should appear a bit sooner in here, he looked back at them. "Rowena, I believe there was a matter you wanted to address, that boy perhaps?"

Rowena kept staring at Helga, but she refused to look back at her, so Rowena had to give up. She would tell her what was on her mind eventually. She turned her attention to Godric and missed Helga's glance. Rowena just looked at him as he wrote the letter and sent it, thinking of Helga and her strange behavior and of Helena and things she kept hidden from her daughter, in order to protect her and finally of Godric, who was probably the only wizard who actually sent letters to house elves. His words brought her back to reality. "Yes... I know that you probably won't agree with me, but the boy ought to be expelled."

Helga focused her gaze on Godric, her eyes following every contour of his quill without really paying any attention. She looked up and shifted her gaze between Gryffindor and Rowena. Helga stiffened and held her breath while Rowena spoke. She leaned slightly forwards and although she already knew the answer she asked, "Which boy?"

"I refuse to have him expelled, he could cause a great deal of destruction if we let him out, assuming he also has the elder wand, we could expel him now, and you could live with the consequences of the mudb... muggles bodies that he'll probably cause." Salazar said, it was rare that he'd say that, mostly cause he wanted the muggles to die, but this boy was causing a great deal of distraction for him to carry out his plans, he still had to make sure his precious Basilisk would be ready.
-------------
Godric listened, his hand forming a fist when he almost heard the slang word for muggles but eventually he just controlled himself and sighed, looking at Helga and Rowena. "Sadly he is right, we can't expel him yet.. it would be too dangerous.."
