"And since when do you care about muggles, Salazar? Rowena asked coldly. "He should be locked away and his wand should be taken! We can't just let him stay in Hogwarts, he might hurt other students. We have to protect everyone from him and he has to pay for killing my Al... all of those people at the Three Broomsticks and the Council members." Rowena took a deep breath before continuing. "He is dangerous! What if he attacks Helena?! If something happened to my daughter, I would kill him." she finished calmly.

Helga fell silent and leaned back against the couch, listening to her fellow founders. She looked shocked when Rowena mentioned Helena. Helga had not considered the fact that he might attack the girl, which was rather foolish of her since he had attacked her fiance only weeks before. Only thinking about Cornictacus hurt. Helga clutched her chest tightly and tried integrating herself in the conversation, "Both of you are right. We cannot expel him because he will turn on the people outside Hogwarts. But having him here is a danger to our students and staff." |

"Look at your nonsense woman. Alfie is a MURDERER himself, he killed your husband, he sent people after Sarah Peverell's parents, they are all dead because of him, all she has is that Sirius boy, and that boys parents are in the hospital for wizards for the rest of their lives, the tortures made them insane." Salazar said, angrily and coldly as he looked at her. "What if Alfie killed your daughter, oh right you wouldn't care, you would still defend the man, he is just as worst as Viktor and he deserved what happened to him, you are just a selfish wh..." Salazar didn't have the time to finish his sentence as he heard Godric's roar.

"ENOUGH SALAZAR." Godric roared his fist hitting the table hard, almost breaking his side of it as he got up, he didn't like to hear that word, sure Rowena made a mistake, but that's not a word she deserved. "We do not do petty quarrels against each other." Godric said, eventually with a puff the house elves arrived and looked at them, curiously, Godric looked back at Helga and just gave her a nod.

Rowena just nodded her head as she looked at Helga. Then Salazar started screaming at her and Rowena started shaking. "Stop it, Salazar! They are different, Alfie was never like Viktor, he would never hurt..." Rowena was about to say innocent people, but then she thought of her husband. Her husband was innocent and he got killed because he had the elder wand. The question was how her husband got the wand in the first place. "Alfie would never hurt Helena! He wanted children, but never had any and why would he want to hurt my daughter then?" Rowena jumped on her feet, her entire body still shaking because of Salazar's words. "How dare you, Salazar? How dare you say that someone deserved to die? And how dare you calling me a whore again?" When Godric jumped on his feet to end the quarrel, Rowena just turned away from Salazar and walked towards the window, trying not to start crying or to hide her tears at least.

Salazar's behaviour and harsh words were uncalled for. As Rowena broke away from the group, Helga turned to Slytherin and frowned. She shook her head and asked, "How can you be so insensitive?" Without waiting to see if he would answer or not, Helga stood up and went to join the other female. She wrapped her arms around Rowena's shoulders and said soothingly, "He didn't mean any of that Rowena. It's the anger speaking." |

"Insensitive? She deserved every last words I said." Salazar said angrily, he had enough of this already, this was boring him, he looked at the house elves, in total fury, and then back at Godric, how dare he stop him like that? When he was making a point, he got up calmly. "Is this meeting over now, like if I needed to babysit a baby crying because of the truth."
Godric was angry at Salazar and disappointed at Rowena, he got the feeling she was also doubting her own husband who died to protect them, he shook his head calmly and looked at Salazar. "This meeting is not over yet, I'm sure Helga and Rowena have more points and we also have the matter of the war between the goblins and us."

Rowena kept looking out the window to hide how hurt she was. "Yes, he did. He meant everything he said." she whispered to Helga and took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down, before turning back to Salazar. When she faced him she managed to look as regal as she always did. "We have already talked about this, Salazar and I still think that you've misjudged him." Rowena looked at Godric and saw something in his eyes... something she couldn't quite explain in the way he was looking at her. "The meeting is not over." she repeated Godric's words. "Another war?" she asked "They are not going to ask for your sword again, I hope?" she said calmly, hoping that there wouldn't be another war between wizards and goblins.

Helga tightened her hold on Rowena and cast a dirty look at Salazar. "She didn't," she said stubbornly. Helga looked back at Rowena and repeated, "You do not deserved those harsh words." Helga was starting to feel faint. She untangled her arms from Rowena's shoulders and leaned against the wall. Concern overcame her expression at the mention of war. |

"You wouldn't understand Helga, because unlike her you are faithful." Salazar said, still coldly, he had no wish to stay in this place at the moment it was sickening, he walked toward the door but just stopped and sighed, he couldn't leave, they still had stuff to do here.

"Yes, I'll be absent, I don't know how long and if I'll return or die, but they requested me in the war so I have no choice." Godric said, looking at Rowena and Helga, he just gave them a smile, showing no signs of fear.

"Oh, but he thinks I do, because I am an arrogant whore." Rowena said ironically, looking at Salazar. She just shook her head, annoyed with his words. "And I am unfaithful to whom, Salazar?" she asked coldly. Rowena turned to Helga "Are you alright?" she asked in a different tone of voice, before turning to Godric. "Is there any way to stop the war? To avoid it?" Godric was a brave man, sometimes even foolish in his bravery and Rowena was worried that someday he just might not come back from one of his battles. "There is always a choice." Rowena whispered, looking at him.

"Please Salazar," Helga pleaded. She wanted him to stop attacking her friend. Rowena did not need or deserve this. Helga clutched the side of her head and started shaking her head, feeling distressed from the heated discussion. Her body stiffened when she heard Rowena's voice. Helga lowered her arms and braced them around her body before giving half a nod. Godric's words seemed to have her distracted for a while. "Rowena is right Monsieur." As much as she disliked Godric's pompous behaviour, he was a friend and ally.

Salazar remained silent, not showing any emotions on his face, but deep down he was a bit worried for his old friend, but he knew he could take of himself, he shook his head and looked back at Rowena coldly, he even looked at Helga coldly for protecting her, he then looked away still silent.

"I have to go to this war, otherwise I'll be sent to the wizards prison for disobeying such an order by the wizard council." Godric said, he didn't like the wizard council that much, but he had no real choice in the matter, nor anything to say, he didn't want to see dementors again.

"Don't worry, I'm used to hearing such words from him." Rowena said, looking at Helga. Then she gave Salazar an icy cold look. He didn't say anything, but Rowena knew it wouldn't end there. "It's not your war! They can't just send you, that's wrong! The council wants revenge, two of their members were killed in Hogwarts and Hogsmeade and they are still blaming us." Rowena crossed her arms and looked at Godric. "When are you leaving?"

"We will rise in protest Monsieur. What they are doing is utterly unfair and disgusting," Helga said in a strong voice. She did not like having any of her friends threatened, especially when it involved life or death. She could not understand how they had the heart to send an innocent man to his slaughter. Rowena was right; they were trying to punish them of crimes that do not belong to them. |

Salazar merely observed, when would Rowena and Helga, learned that they can't protest against the Wizard council, it would put them all in prison with dementors guarding them, he was probably the only one who saw Gryffindor shake at the mention of Dementors, it's true Godric went there after being accused of something he didn't do.

"No, I'm afraid we can't challenge their decisions, I will go, I am supposed to leave tonight, to go to the battlefield." Godric said, he felt like he was being used by the council but he had no real choice in the matter or anything to say.
