Helga could have never imagined the pain that came with giving birth until she experienced it. But ten hours after she had arrived in Hogwarts, Helga no longer cared. Lady Selwyn was away for the weekend, therefore, the young founder was propped in her own chambers with two beautiful healthy babies sleeping beside her.
With tears in her eyes she reached for Cornictacus's hand and squeezed it gently while saying softly, "You are a father." Her gaze shifted towards three other important people in her life; Rowena, Helena and Salazar. She smiled at them and said, "Thank you for being here."
She only hoped that Salazar would not insist on his departure. Cornictacus was back, but she still needed her best male friend. Helga was also grateful to Madam Duboise, who had assisted the birth. Helga looked down at the babies... her babies and gently touched their faces.

Cornictacus just smiled, his eyes had some tears, he held Helga's hand and looked at her and his children, he just kept smiling, kissing Helga's hand while looking at the babies, he was happy to see them as he looked at them sleeping. "They sleep like you do honey, they look like you." Cornictacus said smiling as he held her hand.

Salazar just looked at them, his arms crossed, he was happy for her, he then looked at Helga, hoping she wouldn't be angry with him, he knew that she probably didn't tell them. "I'm sorry Helga, I sent a letter to your parents, thought they should come here and check up on you and their grandchild and you, it's time to stop avoiding them."

Rowena smiled at the sight of Helga's babies. Years had passed since Helena's birth, but she could still remember the pain and the marvelous feeling that came after it. She was happy to see Helga and Cornictacus together again, Helga deserved happiness and a beautiful family. Rowena kept looking at the newborns and almost wished she had another child. She hadn't been the best mother to Helena, but maybe she could change if she had more children.
Rowena glanced at Salazar when he spoke. She was glad that they had finally stopped arguing and that Helga's babies might make him change his mind and stay. Rowena raised her eyebrows, shocked with his words. Salazar had been acting so strange, almost too kind to everyone, except her. Rowena moved closer to him. "You shouldn't have done it." she whispered. "It was the right thing to do, but it was supposed to be her choice, not yours."

Helga started laughing and crying at the same time. "I think they look like you," she said with a smile. She squeezed his hand and looked back at her children. As Salazar started speaking, she turned to look at him. The smile she had been wearing soon disappeared from her face. The little colour she had left after giving birth disappeared from her visage. She loosened her hold on Cornictacus's hand and held the babies close to her in an almost protective manner. Helga started shaking her head and said, "What did you do? I never told them I was pregnant... My father is sick." She paused and looked up at Cornictacus wildly. "My father is sick... This will kill him," she said hysterically. |

Cornictacus just smiled, kissing the babies cheek, now they would have to talk about a name, he looked back at Helga for a while, feeling his face turn pale when he heard Salazar, he turned his head, that was bad, no doubt Helga would be angry, he just heard Salazar laugh.

"You are funny Helga, your father is doing fine, I treated his sickness with my potions, he'll be good as new, he seemed rather happy though and angry." Salazar said, assuming that it was perhaps because she didn't give him any news of the state she was in. "Your brother should be here in a few minutes." Salazar then looked back at Rowena. "Her fear prevented her from doing such a thing."

Rowena gave Salazar another deathly glance. Then she turned to Helga. "Don't worry about it, darling. Your father will be fine. I'm sure he won't be angry with you, not after he sees his lovely grandchildren. They'll make him feel better." Rowena smiled at Helga and Cornictacus, before turning back to Salazar. "Yes and she had her reasons for doing it." she hissed. "Would you please stop meddling in our personal lives?! I know that you want to help, but you are only making things worse." Rowena crossed her arms and kept her gaze focused on Salazar. "I know you're angry with me, but Helga hasn't done anything wrong."

"I am not funny," she shrieked. The twins started stirring uncomfortably in their mother's arms, therefore, Helga forced herself to calm down. She started gently shushing the babies before looking up at Salazar with tears in her eyes. "I should have told them," she said. Rather than angry, Helga felt betrayed. Salazar had known her wishes, and despite that he told her family about her children. There was a knock on the door and Samhuel Junior stepped inside. He shook Salazar's hands and thanked him before moving to Helga's bedside. The youngest founder looked away, unable to meet her brother's gaze. |

"But your stupid fear kept you from doing so, if your father would of been angry like you thought he would, if this news would of hurt him, then he would of never given your hand to a simple commoner like Cornictacus." Salazar just said, looking at her, he was ashamed by Helga's attitude and he then looked back at Rowena. "Yes we saw how keeping stuff from others work, you were attacked by your foolishness for hiding such vital information." When Helga's brother arrived he just shook his hand and looked at them, about to leave the staff room.

Cornictacus just listened, he was a bit angry at Salazar for revealing stuff, but he realized some parts were true, he felt himself froze when he saw Samhuel junior getting inside, he looked at Helga a bit worried, he didn't want the both of them to be yelled at for not telling. "Don't blame her... it's my fault."

Rowena rolled her eyes and sighed. She was really annoyed with Salazar's stupid behaviour. He was acting as if it was his obligation to solve any problems they had. Unfortunately he kept making things worse. Rowena had known about Helga's pregnancy and her wishes longer than Salazar had, but hadn't said anything to anyone. „Salazar, enough!“ she whispered, giving him another icy-cold look. „Please, we've talked about this dozens of times, you have no right to...“ Rowena was interrupted by Helga's brother's arrival. She greeted Samhuel Junior with a small nod, before she turned to Helga and gave her a warm encouraging smile. Then she moved closer to Salazar and whispered. “Perhaps we should leave...”
