Godric noticed some stuff happening lately, involving the Ancient Runes teacher, he didn't like any of the things he was seeing or heard, he opened the door to Rowena's office and went inside, it was weird, he couldn't see the teacher anywhere. He stood there for a while and eventually just took a seat, looking around calmly, he tapped his foot on the floor waiting for her to arrive. The office was rather nice, different from the offices of Helga and Godric.

Rowena was walking towards her office, feeling annoyed and tired of everything. It was late afternoon, but she was so sleepy as if it was midnight. Rowena yawned and opened the door to her office. She expected it to be empty, so she jumped in place, shocked to see a student sitting inside her office. He seemed to be waiting for her for awhile, already getting nervous. "What... what are you doing here? Has something happened?" Rowena asked, closing the door behind her.

Godric merely got up as he heard her and turned around rapidly, he eyed her calmly, she seemed tired. He remained silent for a while, he knew Rowena trusted him, after all she would of never accepted a vampire in her house, he scratches his chin calmly. "A professor is causing harm to half blood and muggle students, casting an unforgivable curse at them.. a professor that Salazar Slytherin recruited. I can feel them, their pain professor. I tasted one of the students blood and saw him getting tortured by Professor Furner."

Rowena just stood in place, biting her lip. When he started to talk, she just widened her eyes in shock. "That can't be true, are you sure about it? That is a serious accusation..." When he mentioned names, Rowena frowned. "Furner?" she asked angrily. Salazar actually made them hire Furner, just like he made them hire Esmerelda Drayton. "Alright, I'll have a word with him and with Salazar."

Godric just looked at her and nodded. "I drank one of the students blood, don't worry she's alive, but I sent her to see a healer, Scorpius is casting the cruciatus curse Rowena. On Half-blood and muggles, one of Helga's students is severely injured by it.. a certain Sly Asbreek." Godric said, as he looked at her calmly, curious as to what the teacher could do, it seemed like Salazar allowed such a thing to happen.

Rowena narrowed her eyes at his words. "Asbreek?" she whispered, shaking her head. "We have to protect the students. "We can't let Half-bloods and Muggleborns be hurt. I won't let Scorpius get away with it. Does Helga know about her student being hurt? Does Godric know?" she asked, looking at the vampire. However, the most important question was if Salazar knew about it.

"Godric Gryffindor hasn't come back yet professor. I'm starting to think that there is more to it than a goblin war, the wizard council really is against Godric or something." The vampire said, eying Rowena carefully, he just hoped she did believe him, otherwise he'd have to give her a bit of his blood and that might not be normal for her, he was sure she wouldn't like the dreams.

"Yes, yes, of course..." Rowena answered. She had been too busy with her problems, that she forgot that Godric was still away. "That also might be true, the Council hasn't been too satisfied with Hogwarts lately." The way Godric looked at her made Rowena nervous. "Yes?" she asked, hoping he would explain why he was looking at her in such a strange way.

For a moment, Godric seemed startled by what she said, he looked at her calmly, was she feeling uncomfortable by his gaze? He just shrugged. "You seem tired.. and I can feel some sadness in you and at the same time happiness, I find it.. peculiar Rowena. human feelings are so powerful.. that even vampires get jealous of the living."

Rowena just sighed tiredly and sat on a chair. He was right, she was tired and felt happy and sad at the same time. She often felt that way and it wasn't something new to her. "It does happen to me, quite often." Rowena smiled at his words. "One is jealous of what one doesn't have."

"Ah words with wisdom, yes Rowena, I've been dead for a long time, I see things differently, but I can still see suffering.. sorrow...and yet happiness and joy." Godric said,he just gave her a smile. Remembering stuff from his past he sighed, looking away. "Immortality... is a stupid dream, only someone stupid would wish for it... you see the ones you like suffer.. wither and die..there is nothing you can do to save them."

The corners of moved up as if she was about to smile. “I guess some things never change. People keep wishing for the same things, have same problems, same things make them happy or sad.” Rowena remained silent for some time, just looking at Godric. “You can’t save anyone from death, that’s impossible. The death itself is one of the main reasons to live, our days would be meaningless if there weren’t so little of them. It would be a curse, rather than a gift.” Rowena finally smiled, looking at Godric.
