Roxanna huffed loudly. Standing by the beginning of the forbidden forest. She had ran straight there, having felt she would have a better chance of keeping her secret there. . She was angry - absolutely fuming. Some boy had been following her around today.
He kept asking her to date him and she kept saying no. It was times like this she hated her veela genes. The veela genes meant she was quick to temper and had to control her emotions. She grabbed for her wand and cast the first spell on her lips. "Incendio" the flame spell. Veelas were naturals with fire.
She watched the flames dance infront of her eyes, the way they flickered and danced. She waved her wand and put out the flames. She felt herself relaxing let go out of the so called veela charm. It rested in the air vibrating around her. She was glad no one was near. They would have discovered her secret pretty quickly if they had been there. The fire in her vibrant green eyes faded away and she sat on the grass - soaking in the static and charged air around her before she would need to pulll it in. Back to her till she had to let go and relax once more. She sighed in annoyance. Why did her family work so hard to hide it? Hearing footsteps that seemed to close to quickly pull back the 'charm' . Who ever it was would have seen her and felt it all ready. She stumbled to her feet. Pulling herself further away. She held her arms close to her. Slowly and gently putting a stop the the veela charm.

Amelie was pissed off. One of her ex-boyfriends seemed to not understand the meaning of ex-boyfriend. She could not believe he would advance on her like that. What kind of person did he think of her? Her temper was getting the best of her so she ran away from the school. Since she was a child, anger was the one emotion that she had hardest time controlling. That was how she ended up in the middle of the forbidden forest. It was the only place she knew she can be truly alone. It was the place where no one can get hurt. Staying inside the castle was not an option, her friends will surely notice her bad mood, huddle near her and try to make her spill her guts.
She sighed as she realized it was already late in the afternoon and it was probably time to face the world again. She gathered her calmer self up and stood up. She was walking absentmindedly when she bumped into someone. “Sorry, my fault.” She apologized automatically, trying to regain her balance.

Alaric was just walking casually along the corridors of the castle when he caught sight of Amelie running, as though to get away from everyone. He squinted a bit to see what her face looked like; she was beet red from anger. Knowing that he wouldn't want to get into her bad side, he let her pass. He knew that being angry make you want to do unthinkable things. However, he was curious as to where she would go and also he was afraid that she might harm anyone or herself so he decided to follow her.
As he walked, trying to keep up with her, he realized that she was heading towards the forbidden forest. Lars wondered if he would have to follow her there; however he knew that whoever in their right minds would not technically go there on a whim. So to ensure she wasn't on danger, he followed her. After some time, she finally stopped walking, and Lars hid himself behind a tree to watch her. Finally, there were already signs that she was calming down. She began walking again and he followed when suddenly, she bumped into what he assumed was Roxanna. He would like to show up already and greet them but he felt that he shouldn't fisturb them at first. He then waited for whatever conversation they would have.

Roxanna stumbled backwards, tripping over her own feet and thin air, "Its okay" she said eventually, she smiled at the girl. "Your Amelie, right?" she asked, looking thoughtful. She was not sure if that was her name or not. She ran her hand through her long hair. "Why are you out here?" she asked softly after composing herself. Looking in the direction, Amelie had just arrived, Roxanna could have sworn she'd seen another person in the tree line, but thought nothing of it. She looked again and frowned. "Did you see anything? or is it just me?" she asked.

Amelie quickly regained her balance and smiled sheepishly at the girl. “Thanks. I’m a real klutz.” She informed the girl as she warmed her hand inside her robe pocket casually. “Yup, and it’s Roxanna, right?” She half asked half stated. “Oh, um, someone pissed me off and I just wanted to be alone for a while.” She replied and gave her a small smile. Suddenly, she wondered what brought Roxanna in the forest. She was about to ask her when she saw the look on her schoolmate’s face. Before she could even open her mouth to ask a question, her schoolmate spoke up.
Amelie abruptly turned to the direction the other girl was staring at. She had the feeling she was being followed earlier, that was why she decided it was time to get back to school. “No, I think we’re being watched. Let’s just hope it isn’t my ex.” She turned to Roxanna and sighed. “You seemed to be tensed earlier, are you okay?” She asked, curious. Then, she felt stupid, of course she was tensed, she bumped into her.

Alaric was still resting his back on the tree, hoping that the two girls haven't managed to see him. He leaned back, listening to their conversation. He noted that Amelie was then pissed off with someone that's why she went all the way here. He then wondered who it was that made her go angry like mad. What made whet his curiosity though was the reason why Roxanna was there also in the first place.
However, it was apparent that they were able to sense that he was following them. He felt that he had no choice but to show himself to them. He then casually stepped out of the tree he was hiding and walked over to them. "Sorry about that ladies. I did not really mean to scare the both of you," he said, knowing that they were not even scared at all.
"So shall we all navigate our way out here? It's almost nighttime and the forest is not safe to be in at this time," he said. He could already hear a growl somewhere far away, but he wasn't so sure.

Roxanna blinked a few times, then smiled "Its okay, I'm pretty clumsy too" she said with a quiet laugh. "Yea its Roxanna, but I prefer Roxy" she smiled brightly at the older girl. She ran her hands through her hair, then rubbed at her arms, it was quite cold out, she just tugged her robe arms down to cover her hands.
Roxy looked a little amused, "Yep. Lets" she looked at the male figure walking towards them "Is that your ex?" she asked Amelie, generally pointing in his direction. Roxanna shrugged "Oh... I was annoyed about some idiot that would not take no for an answer, I want to be nice to him and all, but its getting so hard to keep my cool, and not shout at him" she huffed. She looked around, it was getting dark, was it really that time? Her eyes widened and she nodded, not wanting to be in the forest at night. One could never be sure of what lived in the forest.
