Alfie had to admit, he had figured he would be the one reviving one of his accomplices. Despite notifications to the contrary, Alfie's servants had all deserted him. Even the other three members of Alfie's inner circle had fled. It was only Valenceus and Grindelwald now. The two youngest members. Alfie groaned. "How much longer, Gordon? I cannot stand this deformed body." Alfie spat. He would get his body back then his wand and punish every soul at Hogwarts for this treachery. Except for Rowena. She would understand.
Suddenly they apparated and no more light could be seen. Alfie kept quiet, not wanting to draw attention to himself in case their plot had been compromised. It had only been after Alfie revealed his wand to Rowena that he was finally found and killed. So tonight was a bit of a test for the Dear Professor. Alfie waited for Gordon to ready the ceremony.

Gordon never expected something like this to happen to Alfie, it was odd and impossible to imagine, was he beaten by a student in Hogwarts? He shook his head, that should be impossible, at least the killer didn't know about the horcruxes, he was lost in his thoughts, touching his mustache like he usually does, he stood there for a few moments, this boy could be a nuisance, he would have to do some research about him soon and find out who he is. He knew that now Hogwarts wouldn't be safe, but what was happening to his friend, why trust that woman. Gordon hated the whining, as he looked at his friend. "Patience Melkor, it will be over soon, you will have your body back." Gordon waited patiently until the time was right.
They apparated to the graveyard, Rowena should be here in a few so they could finally get started, he just waited, he was wondering if his friend had any plans for that woman, the fact he was trusting a founder, seemed rather risky to him. He just sighed, taking out the parchment and the needed items for this ritual.

It was almost midnight. Rowena was sitting in her office and reading the letter she'd received over and over again. She had already memorized it, but she kept staring at the parchment, almost as if she was expecting to see something she'd missed. Rowena was still rather confused and she hated it. There was no spell to bring back the dead, she knew it. However there were some other forms of dark magic that could be used.
Rowena stood up and walked to the window, looking out at the starry sky. She couldn’t stop thinking about Alfie, or Melkor, as his friend called him. That seemed strange, Rowena used to call him Alphard before they became closer and he told her to call him Alfie. Then again, Grindelwald had known him much longer than Rowena. Rowena still hadn’t decided what to do, but she was eager to see Alfie and interested in the ritual itself. Dark magic had always been a temptation for the most powerful ones.
Rowena sighed nervously and put her cloak on. It took her less than five minutes to leave the school and get to the place from where she could apparate. She turned on the spot and found herself standing on a graveyard. It didn’t seem to be anyone there, but she took her wand and started to walk between the graves, looking for a tombstone with the family name Valenceus on it. It was too dark to see anything, so she whispered “Lumos” and lit her wand. She had no idea what Alfie’s friend looked like, so she could only hope he’d recognize her.

Alfie could hear Gordon rustling about. It had already seemed as though an hour had passed while he waited. Gordon was actually correct. Alfie only needed to remain patient. He had always been patient before he had been killed. Now he just wanted vengeance. It was worse than the time the Former Head of their Council had tried to force Alfie to give him the Elder Wand. Now someone else had actually succeeded in taking it. But even Alfie was not so foolish. Gordon didn't know why they needed Rowena, only Alfie knew why she was important. Not only had Alfie developed an immense love for Rowena but she was also the current owner of the Deathstick. Even though that irksome thief held it in his unworthy hands.
"Perhaps I was too harsh in my ways. Begin without her, Gordon. We will go to her when I am revived." Alfie had been rough with her. But it was the only way she would hit him with a spell and truly mean to disable him. He had wished he didn't have to. But he had known conspirators were getting too close to him. And his current situation proved his fears were correct.

"It will be done." Gordon said, creating a circle with blood around Alfie's cauldron, getting the vials with the ingredients was much more easier, he had to keep his magic working on this as he put a still beating heart inside the cauldron. A centaurs eye was also used in the process, he had to kill a lot of people for it, he didn't mind getting his hand dirty, instead he seemed rather happy to do such a ritual to revive someone. Don made sure that all the ingredients were indeed there, as he took the last one from his fathers grave, putting the bone inside the cauldron. He then took out his books, looking at the cauldron calmly.
He started the ritual with a chant in a weird incomprehensible language, it seemed close to the language of old times, mentioning the bones of the father, the heart of a council member, the eye of a centaur and all the other ingredients which all involved him killing them to obtain it except for the boner, Gordon never thought that he would one day do such a thing and that Alfie's old father would help in his resurrection he just smirked.
As the water in the cauldron started glowing, Gordon kept his chant going, this time his voice sounded more darker and faster, they were the only two members left and they would succeed in their goals. No one should be able to stop them, just to make sure of it, he would personally deal with that troublesome individual.

Rowena kept walking between the lines of tombstones, reading the names, but none of them had Alfie's surname on it. She was getting nervous, what if she was late, or what if someone was playing tricks on her. Rowena held her wand tightly, looking around the graveyard. She saw something move in the distance and a bright light, as if there was something burning. Rowena walked towards the light, holding her wand hight above her head.
When she was close enough, Rowena managed to see a cauldron and a figure in a dark cloak walking around it and saying incantations on a strange language. Rowena was standing only a few feet away from him, hidden behind a marble tombstone, but she was sure the man had noticed her. The water started glowing, with some strange bright light and the man continued his chanting. The light and the sound of his voice made Rowena feel dizzy, everything started spinning around her and she felt so weak. The last thing she saw was a dark figure rising from the cauldron before she passed out.

Alfie rose from the cauldron, pale as a ghost. He tested his joints. First his fingers then his elbows and shoulders then his feet and legs. Finally he cracked his neck with a turn of his head. Alfie had detected someone closeby even before he had been revived. He loosened his jaw and barked at Gordon, "I heard someone. It sounds like they've collapsed. Over there." Alfie pointed in Rowena's general direction. "It is strange being able to move again." Alfie knew what must be done first. He would need to ensure he had the full Council's support or find and kill them all. If people knew of Alfie's horcruxes, they'd be able to kill him for good next time. Alfie stepped out of the cauldron carefully. And walked over to a brown satchel lying on the floor. He put his hand in it and pulled out his first wand. It was inside a box. And he did not open it yet. The box had not been opened since he closed the wand in. He thought he would never need it again.

Gordon was annoyed at the usually barking, he already noticed that there was someone, he guessed who it was after all it was rare for random people to show up in this cemetery, he just touched his mustache advancing toward the person who collapsed, he looked at her calmly, the descriptions should indeed be correct. "Well Madam Ravenclaw as arrived just as expected, minus the sleeping on the ground." Gordon said, nonverbally casting some water to splash on Rowena and hopefully wake her up, this was such an interesting and exciting moment, he was wondering why she'd be sleeping. "Now now Madam Ravenclaw get up, you wouldn't want to ruin your dress, Melkor has been expecting you." Was all Gordon said, he wasn't as trustworthy towards her as his friend Melkow was, but he had to respect his wishes, plus she could of great help for information on who 'killed' Melkor.

Rowena opened her eyes after being splashed with water. She managed to sit up, coughing and looked around her. It was very dark and they were still at the graveyard. Rowena looked up to the man who stood in front of her. He was tall, with piercing blue eyes and she figured he was Alfie's friend Gordon Grindelwald. Rowena raised her hand to her forehead. She had an awful headache, since she hit her head when she fell.
Rowena took a deep breath and her eyes widened in shock when she saw the man who stood behind Grindelwald. It was amazing, it was a miracle and Rowena never thought it could be possible, but Alfie was alive again. Rowena slowly stood up, ignoring her wet hair and dress and started walking towards him. "You're alive." she said and reached to touch him. Her hand was shaking when she touched his cheek. "You're alive." she repeated, not sure whether she should kiss him or kill him again.

Alfie winced at her touch. It seemed as though he expected her mere touch to harm him. He had wondered what he would say to her when he got back. He had never doubted Gordon, but there was still the chance of some complication. So Alfie nodded in response to Rowena. "I am alive, forever." Alfie had not yet gotten around to telling Rowena that he was immortal. It suddenly seemed like it might've been something important. He wondered if it was something she would have wanted to know. "I thought you would not have come because of how I acted." Alfie remarked.

Gordon approached them calmly, listening to them, he looked at Alfie, almost glaring at him, they weren't supposed to reveal their secrets and yet here he was almost revealing some info to her, he hoped she would disregard that as he looked at them. Was she really trustworthy, he wondered what Alfie had in mind, and just sighed at what seemed to be like a couples quarrel of some sort. He just coughed and touched his mustache lightly looking at them. "We should get in a better place for talks, and I request information on Melkor's attacker madam Ravenclaw, when you have the time, I will deal with that matter.. with my own hands." He said looking at them calmly, then again would Rowena really be helpful? He doubted it, he would have to do some searching of his own.

Rowena kept her gaze focused on Alfie's face. "I thought so, too, but I had to see you again." she answered with a small shrug. They had a lot to talk about, so many things to deal with, there were so many questions that he had to answer, but they could probably do it later. Rowena turned to Gordon when he approached them. He was right, the graveyard probably wasn't the best place for solving problems. Rowena just nodded her head to his words. "Where are we going, then?" Rowena glanced at Alfie and then back at Gordon. "I will give you the information on the attacker, but later, please give me some time to pull myself together." Rowena looked at Alfie again, she couldn't take her eyes off him. "I missed you." she whispered.

Alfie stared at Rowena silently, even as Gordon approached and spoke to them. It was true, Alfie owed the old boy much. But he did not like how involved he was getting. "Gordon, I already told you. We go after the boy together or the plot ends with your demise. We are merely making small talk. But you are welcome to go if you feel vulnerable here." Alfie had gotten used to being condescending to other Council members.
Alfie had not taken his eyes off of Rowena. He had too much to explain, "I did not mean what I said. I will tell you why I did say it, but now is not the time." Alfie almost glanced at Gordon when he said this, as if to indicate his presence was why he couldn't speak clearly. Alfie opened the box then, without taking his eyes off Rowena. He placed his wand in his pocket and left his hand in the same pocket. He moved around held Rowena around her back. "Grab my arm, Gordon. There is a safehouse nearby. For this purpose exactly."

Gordon listened to Alfie, touching his mustache in annoyance, he also noticed the secrets he was hiding, getting too comfortable with this Ravenclaw, it could jeopardize their dreams. He merely looked. "You started getting sloppy Melkor, I won't do the same mistake than you did." Gordon said in annoyance, plus he was interested on who the individual was, not everyone could beat Alfie, if there was someone dangerous, there was many ways to deal with a pest and Gordon knew most of them. Asking more questions at the moment wouldn't do good.
He eyed Rowena carefully, wondering what was happening between this two, if she was a trouble for the council, he would have her poisoned. He snapped out of his thoughts and nodded, grabbing Melkor's arm. He just hoped this woman wouldn't interfere with their plans.

The way Alfie spoke to his friend didn’t surprise Rowena, since he actually patronized everyone, except for her, he was always so gentle and kind to her and treated her with respect. Rowena was starting to get annoyed with the way Gordon touched his mustache, it seemed like a silly bad habit. Perhaps Grindelwald was right, perhaps Alfie was really starting to get careless because of her. Rowena didn’t want to think about that; now that he came back to her, she would do anything to keep them together. Grindelwald seemed to be interested in the murderer, but Rowena couldn’t offer anything more than assumptions. It was also pretty obvious that Gordon didn’t like her much. He probably thought that she couldn’t be trusted.
Rowena just nodded her head; they would have a talk once they were alone. “We can talk about it later.” She kept looking at Alfie as he opened the box took an old wand out of it. It must have been his first wand, the wand that he stopped using after winning the Elder wand. Rowena didn’t protest when he put his arm around her, she was eager to get away from the graveyard and finally get the chance to talk to Alfie. The way that Gordon looked at her made Rowena feel a bit nervous. She couldn’t shake away the feeling that he would poison her if she said or did something he didn’t like. Rowena could only hope that Alfie would keep Gordon from hurting her.
