Helga covered her mouth with her hand and uttered softly, "Mon Dieu." Her gaze shifted from Rowena to Salazar before hurrying towards her female colleague. Helena took Rowena's face in her hands and said, "It is a very important and serious matter. Who would want to harm such a gentle soul such as yourself Rowena?" Helga loosened her grip and turned to Salazar. She frowned at his words and replied, "Veritaserum? On a student? Certainly not. That is highly unacceptable and illegal. We should do well to remind that to our Ministry Monsieur." She looked thoughtful at Slytherin's words and finally said, "That does not necessarily mean he should be subject to the potion. He should be treated just like any of the other students."

Rowena couldn't help but to smile at Helga, she was the dearest, most caring person she'd ever met. "Calm down, Helga, everything is alright now. Luckily nobody got hurt, you see that I am fine and the girl is a bit scared, but not harmed in any other way." Rowena turned to face Salazar, giving him a meaningful look. "That boy is dangerous, he is not like other students." She said with a frown and stood up from her seat once again. "I am not happy with Ministry meddling with our business, but that could be the only way to solve this." she said and sighed, leaning on the wall behind her.

"Isn't dangerous a strong word Rowena, he is.. sinister, just sinister and I don't like students with too much secrets, he seems too mysterious and up to stuff that I cannot comprehend." Salazar said, looking at Rowena and then at Helga. "Girls seem afraid of him, someone like Lily, trembles when she sees him, it is odd to see her that way, I don't know what's going on." He said, sighing, it was so odd to be like that, a mysterious student, he could read nothing in his mind.

Helga embraced Rowena and said, "I would have been very distraught if something terrible happened to you or one of our students." She loosened her grip and moved to the nearest seat, listening to Rowena and Salazar. Helga disapproved of their language about Viktor. "Assuming he is as dangerous as you make him sound, do you not think that he will be able to deceive the Ministry as well?"

Rowena looked at Helga and shrugged. "I don't think the Ministry will be able to help us in any way, but we don't have any other choice than allowing them to come and investigate. Otherwise they might think we are plotting against them. She walked through the room, stopping just in front of Salazar's seat. "You can say whatever you want about the boy, but I think he is dangerous and he has obviously done something to scare those girls. They deserve our protection, too. We need to get to the bottom of it!"

"I think he is able to thwart the ministry, I think we can have trouble if we don't get him to comply, if he is dangerous then the Ministry officials coming.. should be watched at all times by us." Salazar said, as he didn't trust the student much, he sighed calmly. still looking at them. "We need your help Helga, we need to use my potion in a dish you make for him."

Helga stared down in her lap knowing Rowena was right. It would not be fair on the other students, if this Viktor was indeed dangerous. She looked up at Salazar when he directed his words at her. Helga folded her arms over her chest and gave a small nod of defeat. "Whatever you see fit to be done," she commented lightly.

Rowena triumphantly raised her head. Then she turned to Helga, who still seemed uncertain of what they'd decided to do. "Some things just have to be done, Helga." she said. "We would never even consider doing something like that if he wasn't a threat to all the other students. Who knows what he is capable of..." Rowena paused a bit and then turned to Salazar. "How long will it take to make the potion?"

"I need the ingredients they all seem to be missing, someone has been using them but for what." Salazar said, confused he looked away calmly. "I'll have to leave Hogwarts to gather all the ingredients, I'll come back and do the potion, hopefully.. we will figure out what his favorite dish is." Salazar said looking at Helga, and then at Rowena. He could use the boy for his plans but he knew that the boy didn't seem interested in Mudbloods but.. he seemed to be interested with something more

"Of course Rowena," Helga replied softly. She stood up and gave her colleagues her back. However, as soon as Salazar started talking about missing ingredients she turned to face him in shock. "Surely you do not mean that someone has been stealing from your private store," Helga stepped closer. "I was under the impression they were protected with enchantments."

Rowena folded her arms and sat on the armrest of the nearest armchair. Her voice was cold and calm, she was always trying to be rational when facing a problem. "I wonder if a boy so keen on occlumence and dark magic would even be able to break your spells, Salazar." Rowena's large dark eyes flew from Helga's face to Salazar's. "However, that is far too advanced magic for a boy of his age."

"I put the most difficult magic to protect the ingredients... Polyjuice potion ingredients are also missing." Salazar said, as he sounded a bit worried as to why the student or whoever it was took the polyjuice potion, he started touching his beard the way he does when he is nervous, mad and thoughtful, he sighed calmly. "It doesn't make any sense a student can't be that powerful to break into my stuff." Salazar said as he got up, looking at the candle like he did in the beginning, like if it was interesting he sighed calmly."Two mysteries to solve, in one place. A boy and the missing ingredients, you know, someone should write a tale about it."

Rowena shook her head. "I really don't understand it." she admitted, rather unwillingly. "But we're going to get to the bottom of this." She remained silent for awhile, thinking about the boy and the ways of breaking Salazar's spells. Salazar turned his attention to the candle again and Rowena still couldn't see anything special about it. She had to laugh at Slytherin's words. "Fine story... Hogwarts founders and the potion ingredients theft."

"Polyjuice potion? What for I wonder?" Helga said more to himself than to the others. She started gazing at one of the portraits lost in her own thoughts. Helga did not hear the rest of Salazar's words but she caught Rowena's. She turned back to face the two quizzically, "Hogwarts founders and the potion ingredients theft? Has the story already leaked out of the castle?"

Rowena tilted her head to one side, shifting her gaze to Helga. "Well, we're all familiar with the use of the potion. The question is who is the target." Rowena said slowly, with a small frown. "I hope not. We have to keep it hidden from other staff and students. As much as we know, anyone could have done it."
