Rowena walked into the staff room and sat into a chair near the fireplace. She focused her gaze on the flames, thinking about the Elder wand and the usual school business. They should probably choose a headmaster, someone capable to run the school. Rowena wondered if she should tell someone about the wand. The door behind her opened and she turned to see the person who came inside.

Salazar was busy enough grading these papers, trying to find the right person to take down the muggles in here, he sighed, walking toward the staff room, lost in thoughts, when he opened the door with a flick of his wand, to lazy to even open it with his hands, he got inside still touching his beard, as he raised his head he saw Rowena, normally he would of been happy of seeing her, or the other founders for that matter, but their vote for Mugggles been accepted, hurt him a lot, he looked away calmly, seeming interested by the light of the candles, as he stood there without saying a word to Rowena.

Rowena didn't know how long he had been standing behind her because he hadn't said a word to her. "You've startled me." she said with a small frown. Rowena was lost in her thoughts and Salazar seemed to be lost in his thoughts, too. "Are you alright?" she asked looking at him, but he seemed to be more interested in staring at the candles.

"Yes I'm alright Rowena just these hum.. candles are so fascinating" Salazar said, as he stared at them, and sighed calmly. "Heard someone tried to kill you, an imperius curse involved nonetheless" Salazar said, he was wondering who could of done that, he was interested on recruiting the most vile wizard to his cause, he had to kill the muggles but someone to attack the founders, either he was crazy or he just loved the risk.

Rowena glanced at the candles, they didn't seem particularly interesting or special to her, so she just shrugged. "Impressive." she said. Then she sighed sadly. "Yes, I thought you'd heard about it. Luckily nobody got hurt, but it could have been a disaster. The worst thing is that, whoever was behind it, used a second year student. From my own house." Her voice was calm, but she was still worried that the attacker might come back.

"Who ever did that... is probably more powerful then you and can probably stand his own against me and Godric." Salazar said, no one would dare do that unless they were absolutely certain that a person can take them down, he looked back at Rowena deeply in her eyes. "You should be careful." Salazar said, looking back at her. "I heard one of my students went to you for a murder case? His parents were killed?"

Rowena raised her head a bit higher, offended by Slytherin's words that he and Gryffindor were more powerful than she was. Dueling wasn't her specialty, but that wasn't the only thing that showed how powerful someone was. "I know, Salazar, but I am capable of taking care of myself." she answered as she returned his gaze. "Oh, it was that boy... Lorrein or something... well, he came to tell me that his mother had been murdered, but then he just... he was so rude and kept saying awful things to me... so I made him leave and told him to go and see you."

"He didn't visit me." Salazar said, a bit coldly than intended maybe he was just angry that one of his own students would talk to her instead of him. "They are dead, I gave them a funeral, both were in Slytherin, something about their death... hmm they were raped... no signs of magic... the necks were snapped" He said, but Salazar knew it couldn't be muggles, he had a hold of the record book with all the clients and used the veritaserum on her. "All her clients are wizards.. none of them killed the two of them." Salazar said, he sighed calmly, this case was so odd, he then looked back at her. "Also... your admirer who tried to get you killed, as an obsession with you, I don't know why, since he is after nothing that you possess, he just seems to want you out of the picture and fast,"

Rowena listened carefully to his words. "It doesn't have to be a muggle, it could be a wizard trying to make it look like something that a muggle could have done." she said, knowing the way Salazar usually thought of the muggles. Rowena looked back at him. "Well it had to be someone... maybe it was someone who also knew them... a family member, perhaps?" she added, but almost immediately thought it would be impossible. Rowena sighed heavily and bit her lip. "Maybe he's after something else... " she whispered. "Or just after me?"

"Just after you.. I believe the one who killed his mum is the same person who is after you. And Rowena his mum was pregnant." Salazar said, feeling uncomfortable, to some he maybe appeared like a cold and evil individual but he wasn't he sighed calmly, this was bad, three pureblood dead that kid might have been the one who could finish his plans once he was done building that chamber. He just shook his head and looked back at her. "I don't know.. who it is.. probably an adult sneaking in the castle."

Rowena just looked at Salazar, biting her lip. She felt sorry for poor people, but also she felt guilty for not helping the boy when he came to her. She was annoyed with his words and attitude, but she shouldn't have been so mean to him. "No, it couldn't have been an outsider, the castle is protected with the most powerful spells." she said. "But, I don't think it was someone from our staff, either. I just don't want to believe it."

"Could it be... a student?" Salazar said, that student could be of use to him to carry on his dark plans, he needed someone who wouldn't mind killing, he sighed calmly. "Ministry officials will be coming to investigate the students, so I'll be making a couple of veritaserum potions." Salazar said, as he sighed calmly, he hated having the ministry officials here, plus making those potions was a lot of work.

Rowena was shocked. "A student?" she repeated his words. "No, it's even harder to believe..." Rowena shook her head. "I don't like that, Salazar. They shouldn't be meddling in our school business, you should have kept them away from all of this, I am fine." She sighed and stood up. "And you know what I think about those potions, I won't let you use them on students."

"What choice do I have Rowena, it's our hierarchy without the ministry it's anarchy." He said, he didn't want to use it on his students, he didn't care if it was used on the others, he sighed calmly. "They are coming to investigate.. apparently we have illegal animagi here.. and those illegal ones are students. Viktor is suspected to be one." Salazar said calmly, at least that's what the ministry said, he was sure they would ask him a couple of questions about the murder as well, he wondered why, it seemed the student went through enough.

Rowena shook her head again. She kept walking around the room, without looking at Salazar. "It's just not right, Salazar. I don't want our students to be scared and start making stories up. They are not to be interrogated, with or without the potion." She sighed and stopped in the middle of the room and then looked at him. "They shouldn't be trusted, not completely, at least. It might just be the cover to question him. The boy has been through a lot and maybe they should just leave him alone. Did you notice anything strange about him?" she added.
