Salazar said, he might be going rough against her, saying bad stuff . "You might think you're the most beautiful and intelligent woman ever born Rowena, but your attacker put you in your place with his own cunning intelligence, you have been outdone because of that arrogance of yours, the more you have it, the more you put yourself in danger. Wise up woman, be like you were as a teenager when we first met, that's the Rowena I liked, not this bimbo acting like she owns the world."

Rowena just stood in place and started shaking again. She quickly wiped the tears that started to run down her cheeks, so that Salazar wouldn't see her crying again. If she started crying out there, in front of him, she'd be weak and pathetic, just what he probably thought of her. "Salazar, please, leave me alone." she turned to face him again. His words hurt her the same way as the sight of Alfie's dead body in that room, because deep inside she knew he was right and that her own arrogance lead to those misfortunate events. She was, indeed, the most beautiful and most intelligent woman... with a special ability to kill men she loved. "I was a child, we were all just children with a dream... but we've all been through a lot since then. I can never be that girl again, Salazar, not after what happened..."

He approached her calmly, his hand seemed to caress her cheek softly, but he was wiping away her tears, hugging her once again and comforting her by patting her back. "Our dreams Rowena, they are complete aren't they, we made Hogwarts all four of us, made the best school out there, wasn't that our dreams, over the years you let your reputation get the best of you Rowena. You are better then this, if you stayed the way you were as a teenager, the attacker would of never outsmarted you." Salazar said, in a softer tone then usual.

Rowena closed her eyes and let him wipe her tears away. Salazar could be so strange and mysterious; first he was screaming at her, and then he was gently patting her back and hugging her. She sighed sadly and hugged him back. "Oh, Salazar, we've managed to do what we wanted, we've made our dreams come true and I am so happy about that." Then she smiled. "It is indeed the best school." Rowena sighed sadly again, before whispering "How am I supposed to live with myself after what I've done? My mistakes killed him, I should have known better..."

"He was also arrogant, you're not to blame for this Rowena, you should of told us though, we are your best friends after all." Salazar said, caressing her back softly, looking away calmly, he missed the good old times, when they were younger, he met Rowena and Gryffindor early and then when they met Helga, it felt like the group was done, and they made this school, he sighed calmly. "You have your daughter Rowena... do your late husband proud and look after her, I don't think living in your shadow... is the best."

"He asked for my help, to keep his secret and I would have done anything..." Rowena sighed and shook her head. "If I told anyone of you, he'd be angry with me, he'd leave... but maybe he'd still be alive. We were both so certain our plan would work perfectly, but we made a mistake. I made a mistake." Rowena blinked and looked at Salazar, confused. "What do you mean by that, I am not... Helena is not living in my shadow, that's not true. If she had any problem with well anything she'd tell me. I am sure she would."

"Ah my dear Rowena.. she looks like you, but do the other people see her as who she is, or just as her mother, all they talk about is you, they see her in you, not the person that she wants to be, she wants to be herself, but since she lives in your shadow.. she can't, Rowena my dear, it's normal if an infant lives in the shadow of their parents, but you have to do something about it." Salazar said, they were expecting the same things then they expected from her mother, he knew how hard it could be for the child.

Rowena moved away from Salazar and frowned. "It has to be hard for her, but I can't just make everyone forget that I happen to be one of the founders of Hogwarts. Helena is smart, she's brilliant, but she has to learn to work hard, harder than she does now. She has to earn her place, just like I did, just like all four of us did." Rowena looked at Salazar, still feeling rather confused.

"It's not about earning her place Rowena.... I just hope you end up understanding it, before it is too late." Salazar said, not saying anything else about the issue at hand, she had to find out herself eventually, he just hoped she would, before it is too late.

Rowena just looked at Salazar for some time. "Yes, you are probably right." She sighed tiredly, wondering how long had passed since they left Hogsmeade. "Salazar, do you think the wizarding council arrived to Hogsmeade? Do you think they found him?" she asked sadly. It was only a matter of time before someone came to Hogwarts. It happened in Hogsmeade, not too far from the school, but she wasn't sure if anyone knew about her and Alfie, on the other hand, the killer had written her name on the wall, so they'd probably come looking for her.

"They are probably already in the school, but I'm sure they know you did nothing bad. He sighed, he didn't like the wizarding council meddling in the affairs of the school, he just walked toward the school, looking at her calmly. "Come on we better go, I'll stay with you if they ask questions."

"I hope you're right." said Rowena with a worried frown. She didn't like having them around and meddling in their school- business and for some reason she had a feeling they would be glad to interrogate her and her coworkers, but they'd never let them bother the students. Rowena followed Salazar towards the school "Thank you, that's really nice of you, but I just might have to face them on my own."

"I don't want it to be to rough on you, we face it together Rowena I was there too. Salazar said, walking with her toward the castle, who would interrogate them though, there was no veritaserum left at all in school and he hoped they wouldn't use it against her. "Don't drink anything they offer.

Rowena just nodded her head. She was glad to have him next to her, he was so kind to her at times and always there to help her, when she needed him. "Don't worry, I won't." She'd never let them trick her into drinking veritaserum and while concentrating, she was able to protect her mind from their attempts to use legillimence on her. Salazar was a skilled potioneer and Legilimens, so there was no way they'd be able to trick him, either.
