The young founder was huddled on the couch of her house in Scotland. She was staring ahead of her looking worse than before. Helga had not followed Cornictacus's advise; instead of eating more, she started eating less. She was in her seventh month of pregnancy and despite the fact that she was eating, her stomach appeared larger than average. Helga needed to see him. She stood up from the couch and fastened her travelling cloak around her shoulders. Helga stepped outside her house and apparated in front the house in France. The young woman moved behind a tree, leaning against it, and stared up at the bedroom's window.

Cornictacus was sitting on a chair near the window, how many days has it been? Months perhaps, he didn't know, he was too tired, without Helga, the hours just stopped, time itself froze, he was thinner, paler and it was clear that he didn't eat much, he was unable to cook, Helga's absence affected his cooking, but at least he hoped she was taking good care of herself, he thought he saw someone outside by the window but he wasn't sure, could of been his mind playing tricks, he just stood there.

After waiting for hours out in the cold, her beloved Cornictacus appeared by the window. Her first instinct was to hide further behind the tree. However, when his gaze was directed outside Helga moved from behind the tree and steppped forwards. She locked her eyes with his and remained motionless, with tears streaming down her cheeks.

Cornictacus kept looking by the window, he saw someone stepping out, and he kept looking, he brushed his eyes a few times and looked at Helga, it really was her wasn't it? He was having tears as he looked at her, his hand pressed against the window, he missed her so much, it was also cold outside, he went downstairs and opened the door, to see if she'd be coming in... or would she avoid him? "Helga...are you really there..?"

She lowered her gaze when Cornictacus disappeared from the window. Helga buried her face in her hands and sobbed harder, until she heard the front door open. She looked up and gasped loudly. He was so close... so real. Helga was unsure of what to do. In the end she simply nodded to his question and said in a strangled voice, "Yes."

"Rentre, il fait froid dehors." Cornictacus said, stepping aside, offering his hand to Helga, to get her inside the house, he didn't want her to catch a cold certainly not with that second life inside of her, he missed her so much, he wanted to hug her... and never let her go but he knew that was impossible he still needed to think.

Helga looked hestitant. Her eyes shifted from his face to his outstretched hand and she wondered if he had finally forgiven her. More tears welled into her eyes and she moved towards him. Helga reached for his hand and the second she felt his skin against hers, Helga threw herself into his arms.

Cornictacus felt the skin of her hand, it made her feel so warm inside, as Helga just threw herself in his arms, he caught her, holding her tightly as he moved toward the house, holding her, he closed the door once inside and just stood there, holding her in his arms, he wanted her back so much, how could he be strong? He was heaving tears on his eyes, eventually making some sounds as he was crying.

The young woman followed him inside, not loosening her hold onto him for one second. She had felt dead inside for over two months. But now that she was in his arms, Helga knew everything would be all better. She could hear him sobbing; Helga started rubbing his back and looked up at him. "I'm sorry," she said softly.

Cornictacus just looked at her, the way she was rubbing his back, he missed it so much, his face was eventually pressed against her neck, still sobbing, he didn't realize that he missed her this much, then again she always haunted his dreams and his thoughts. "I'm...sorry dear...b..but you should of been eating... what's this tired... look." Cornictacus said, with concern in his voice, though he should also look at himself, he didn't seem as energetic as before, he was mostly pale and thin, he was unable to cook without her around him.

She shied away from his words and shrugged. "I... it... makes me sick eating alone." Helga looked up at him hopefully and linked her hands with his. "Come home. Please," she pleaded after some minutes in silence.

Cornictacus looked at her, he wanted to give up his foolishness, to go back in the house with her, but it would mean he learned nothing, she learned nothing, he just looked away, his eyes completely red, tears still falling "I...I can't cook without you...I'm...I'm unable to even bake some bread... Sirius has been bringing me food and such...I... I don't know honey.."

His words came as a shock to her. If he did not know if he wanted to go back to their home, that only meant one thing. "Don't you love me any more?" she asked in a strangled voice. Helga moved away from him and leaned against the wall; one hand over her stomach and one hand clutched tightly to her chest. She started hyperventilating and was unable to breath properly. Helga only hoped that her respiratory dysfunctions would not decide to attack her system right there and then. Since Cornictacus had left, the attacks had become more frequent and violent.

"Helga are you nuts? I love you more than anything, more then life itself, more then my own life, I am unable to cook without you.. you keep haunting my dreams, my thoughts." Cornictacus said, as he looked at her, letting her some air, he knew of her attacks but.... it was rare that something like this would happen to her, really rare, it never happened when they were.... together. "You hurt my feelings.. when you said it was sad news... I also saw you kissing.. who I think was Salazar.."

She tried easing her breathing and at the same time listening to his reply. "Then why you do not want to come home?" Her eyes widened as she heard his response. It was because she had said the child was sad news. Helga had learned to love the baby, and she vowed to be a good mother to him/her. However, she still believed it would be sad news for her family. They would be disappointed in the young couple. Helga clutched her chest tighter at the mention of Salazar and she said with difficulty, "He... kissed... me... to... remind... me... of... my... priorities." Her word echoed Slytherin's but her fiance could not possibly know that. She lowered her gaze and her lips parted as she struggled to breath. Her knees buckled beneath her and within seconds, Helga was lying on her back.
